CHAPTER 15
Minho slowly breathed In and then out. Slowly took one step back then another, repeating this until he was a couple feet away from Thomas's body.
Brenda watching everything from the side, her eyes glazed over when the scene unfolded.
Minho took one look at Thomas's body, turned and ran out the door.
Brenda stood up and quickly chased after him. She questioned him with the normal "what are you doing", "where are you going", "why are you leaving" questions.
Minho didn't respond, instead picked up his pace, trying to shake Brenda off.
She wouldn't let him, at least not yet. Brenda ran beside them and they fell step in step. Moving in sync. "He needs you Minho!" "He's pretty much fallen into a coma!" Brenda's voice was raised.
"I know that he's in a shuck coma! He's slowly going insane! You know who else went insane! Yeah him! Look where that went now he's dead, shot by Thomas!" Minho yelled.
"Then why are you leaving? If you know he needs you!" Brenda pushed.
"You know what?" Minho said calmer then before.
"What?" Brenda's voice also lowering. "Newt needed Thomas." Minho's voice sounded chalky like he'd break down any second. "NEEDED HIM TO KILL HIM, COULDNT LIVE WITH HIMSELF! COULDNT STAND BECOMING INSANE! THOMAS IS ALL IVE GOT LEFT AND HES NOT GONNA ASK ME TO SHOOT HIM!" With those words Minho turned on his heel and sprinted away. Leaving Brenda standing there, trying to process what had just happened.
