Oh. My. Gosh. We're having 5 kids. When the doctor said that we were having quintuplets Ji passed out. The doctor said it was out of shock because this was quite rare and to give her time.
Her eyes fluttered open after about 30 minutes. "Are you okay?" I asked her. Suddenly she burst into tears. I quickly got up to comfort her. "Shh, everything's gonna be okay. You're gonna be an amazing mother, no matter how many kids. And you know I will be right here with you every step of the way" I said trying my best not to cry as well. This is a very overwhelming situation.
We decided to take the bus home so we could get back faster. "Ji, you can veto this, but I think we should tell Jeonghan hyung. The entire situation. When we get back." She grabbed my hand and took a deep breath. "I think so too, I mean he's my brother, he deserves to know. But he's totally gonna flip. You know that right?" she responded. "Oh I know, I'm probably going to get beat up or he will just walk away angry and glare at me until he accepts it" I said.
We got off at our stop. "Wow 5 kids." I said. "I know right, and they're all inside of me" she said rubbing her belly. I smiled. We stopped and I bent down to her stomach level "don't be too hard on mommy while she's pregnant with you ok?" I said. Ji ruffled my hair. "So cliche" she said as I stood up and gave her a peck on the lips.
We got to the door and stopped. "You ready?" I asked her and she nodded before opening the door. "We're back!" I yelled.

"Hannie, can we talk? Outside?" Ji asked me. I turned to see her and Jihoon standing next to each other. "Sure" I said making my way to the balcony, Ji and Jihoon following close behind.
"Ok, what's up" I started. They both took a few deep breaths. Ji started. "One day when we went on a walk while you guys were at the mall Jihoon and I got injected by... something..." as she explained I had a mixture of emotions. "And I've been sick and wearing Jihoon's clothes recently because... I'm pregnant." She finished. My eyes widened. "Could the two of you cover your ears for a moment?" I asked. They both did so and I screamed a lot of words, from cuss words to short prayers.
I tapped their shoulders. "You can uncover now" I gestured and they both did. "Hannie, this isn't our fault, it was whatever pricked us" Ji pleaded. I sighed "I know, It's just overwhelming. Does anyone else know?" I asked. They both shook their heads. We didn't wanna tell the boys because they might be disappointed with us." Jihoon said. That's understandable.
"Can I see your stomach?" I asked. She nodded and pulled up her shirt revealing her swollen stomach. How long have they been hiding this?
"How far along are you?" I asked my sister. "About a 2 and a half months." She replied. I gasped. "Is it normal for women to get that big that fast?" I asked, my eyes wide. "Hyung!" Jihoon quickly shouted. "What I'm just asking" I replied. "Well... not exactly" he said. "What do you mean?" I questioned.
"We're having... more than one" Ji said. "How many? Twins?" I asked. Ji looked over to Jihoon. "...5" He said looking down. "5 KIDS?!" I yelled. They both nodded. "Oh boy" was all that left my mouth. "I want you to know, I'm not mad, I'm just overwhelmed, so I'm gonna go for a walk. I'll be back before practice" I said getting up.

Jihoon and I walked back to our room. We sat down on our bed. Well it's my bed, but he always sleeps next to me.
"He's mad, he's totally mad" I said looking at Jihoon. "No he isn't, he said he wasn't, you're just gonna have to believe him" he said.

She stayed in my embrace for a while. When suddenly she began to cry. "What's wrong?" I asked concerningly. "What if the babies don't make it?" she asked between sobs. "Don't think like that" I said. "It would be very upsetting if they didn't make it, but I hope they all are born healthy" I replied.
Before practice I decided to take a nap and Ji went out into the living room.
I woke up to Wonwoo shaking me. "Hyung, what are you doing" I asked rubbing my eyes. "Ji kept complaining about stomach pains and when we asked her what was wrong, she said to come get you, and you wouldn't wake up." "Ok" I said getting up and walking towards the living room.
Before I got there I got a pain killer and a pill prescribed to Ji from the doctors.
I sat down next to her and handed her the water and pills. "Here, it should help" I said. "Thanks" she said before taking the pills.
"How come I feel like you two are in your own world and we just live and train with you." Joshua said crossing his arms. "Yeah" a few of the other boys agreed.
"Um, because Ji has problems that she doesn't feel comfortable sharing with all of you." I said. "Hmm" he said. "Guys it's time to get ready for practice" Seungcheol hyung said walking in.
"How are you doing Ji?" I asked walking over to where she was sitting. "hungry" she said and I chuckled. "Are you ok with pizza? The boys want pizza" I said. She nodded. "Get ham and pineapple." She told me. "You and your pregnancy cravings" I replied. "It's not a craving! Hannie right that ham and pineapple pizza is good?" she yelled. "Wah, it's the best kind" he replied with a thumbs up. "You two are so weird. Our kids better not eat weird like you and Jeonghan" I whispered which made her chuckle.
We got home and fell asleep, but not for long, Ji woke up at around 4:30 to throw up. She's still in her 1st trimester.
We also dropped out of school, we thought it would be easier. Joshua hyung, Seungcheol hyung, Jeonghan hyung, and Jun hyung still work though. Very rarely, but they still have their jobs.

Sometimes my voice dies in my throat, buries itself beneath waves of crippling suffocation, burns itself out as cold hands tear at my laced skin. But I do feel the warmth of petals gathering and scattering in my cold bones, and imagine the touch and the sweetness of a kiss, and my heart rises to the surface of this sea and finds a sky painted by passing artists remaining far above our heads.
