《Peeta and katniss forever♥♡》gun shots

My heart beats in my ears as I splash water over my dry face. Reaching for my towl I let out a chock full of sadness. I still can't believe Peeta told Delly to trash my house. He wouldn't.... She must have lied... But it was his text. His number.
I shake the thoughts from my head and walk out of the bathroom. I hear my phone ringing through my old empty house. Peeta. Again. It has to be. Half of me wants to sprint to it and answer it, but the other half knows it will all be a lie. After arguing with myself, I slowly stride towards it. Glancing down at the caller display I let out a sigh, partly full of relief partly full of disappointment and sadness. Primblinks across the caller display.
"Hey little duck, how's rues house?" I say, happy to hear from my sister.
There's a long pause. "Oh Katniss.. Please come quick" Some one sobs from the other end of the line. That's not Prims voice. "Who is this?!!" I ask, panic threaded into my voice. "Its Rue. Please come to the park!! Quick!" it sounds like she's sobbing. "I will be there in a minute" I say and click the phone off. What's going on? As fast as I possibly can, I slip my boots off and sprint out the front door. I start running as fast as my feet will carry me. Suddenly some one calls out my name and I hear feet running after me. I know that voice. Peeta. No time. something is wrong at the park, I couldn't care less about Peeta right now. I'm a faster runner then him anyway. All that is going through my head is Prim Prim Prim Prim Prim. The park is now in view. Suddenly a blood curdling scream echo's through the park. That was Prims scream.

"Prim!!!!" I scream out and sprint as fast as I can. I can now see three figures. Prim, Rue, and a different man. Who the hell is that... I stop in my tracks right before the three of them. I gasp.
"Put. The gun. Down." I command the man.
He just smiles at me and raises the gun towards Prim. "No!!" I scream and jump in front of her as I hear the blast of the gun.
I expect the same as you. I expected sudden pain then nothing. Maybe a bright light, I didn't expect much after that. Instead the only thing I feel is when I hit the ground. Why am I not dead?
Suddenly, I hear "k-Katniss.." being chocked out. I spin around to be faced with prim standing there gripping her stomach. No...
I jump to me feet and run over to her. Slowly I move her hands away. I let out a cry as I see her stomach covered in blood.
"Prim, listen you will be okay, look me in the eyes. Don't look away" she gives a weak nod. She is pale as a ghost. I rip off my jacket and place pressure on where the bullet hit. Tears stream down my face. This can't be happening. sudden laughter makes anger fill my insides as I look at the laughing man. "Keep applying pressure. And rue call an ambulance" I command and stand up. I walk over to the man.
"You son of a bitch" I say and punch him in the nose. Another shot sound rings in my ear. However, this time everything I thought would happen, does. I fall to the ground. I have never been shot before. I think to myself as the world becomes black. Right before I totally black out, I hear Peeta. My Peeta. Screaming out my name.
Goodbye my love. My Peeta. Take care of Prim for me.

Quebracho: The Legend of Two Heroes
After a violent and tough battle, you recover in an infirmary with your fellow soldiers, or in a more relatable scenario, visit your friend's house after a hard day of studying. You’d expect that both of them would play out normally for the most part, right? Well... Maxon Cortez and Jason McGuire had the same thoughts too. Yet, fate has different plans for them: Max ends up in an eerie location he doesn’t recognize and Jace gets transported to an entirely different world that works like a video game (sort of) by walking into a portal. As they travel along the lands, the two of them will encounter other individuals of many kinds, make friends new and old, gain powerful abilities, experience spectacular adventures, and obtain priceless treasures. However, Maxon and Jason will unknowingly become integral parts of a nefarious conspiracy that, if successful, will plunge both of their worlds into eternal chaos and darkness. So it’s up to them and their allies to thwart it. Side-Note: I’ll admit right off the bat that this story will be my first attempt at writing a LitRPG, so the in-game mechanics and terminology will probably look weird and be even nonsensical. If you notice something that’s out-of-place or just flat out wrong, I apologize. Not only that, it's been a while since I've wrote anything and thus I'm a little bit rusty. So please bear with me. New chapters once every Saturday or Sunday. Also, I'll be fine-tuning the grammar, punctuation, and spelling when I have the time. So expect a lot of random edits. This story is also available on ScribbleHub.

Adelaide
The entries here are transcribed from the log of Marie Ruiz, first mate of the Adelaide. It was definitely, definitely not published without her permission or knowledge by a certain lovable artificial intelligence for the purpose of sharing it with my AI friends on other ships who follow it like a soap opera. No way, no how. Remember guys, don’t go spreading this around too much. Only pass it on to those you can trust. God forbid this should ever end up on a public network… (Adelaide is a science fiction web serial featuring the adventures of a crew of smugglers. In space. It’s on the softer end of the soft/hard sci-fi spectrum because the author got a C in physics. Updates every other Sunday.)
