I pace back and forth in my bedroom. I'm such an idiot! uggh. All I remember us being pulled onto the dance floor, and standing there confused, then Johanna pulling me away. Katniss and I had a fight, and she wont answer any of my calls or texts. This all happened last night. God, I hope she forgives me. I need to think of a way to make it up to her. I quickly pick up my phone and call Annie. She will help me with my plan.
I toss my phone on my bed in frustration. I'm not ready to talk to him. yet. I mean, does he expect me to just forgive him like that? Suddenly, my phone rings. I glance at whos calling. Its Annie.
"Hello?" I say.
"Hey Katniss! come into your backyard ok?"
"uhmm, why?" I asked puzzled.
"you will see!" she chirps before hanging up. Its 6:00 at night, why does she want me to go to my backyard? I sigh and throw on some skinny jeans and a hoodie. I slip on my boots and slowly walk to my backyard. I gasp when I turn the corner.
The tree has a billion tiny glowing lanterns hanging from it, there is a small table surrounded by rose pettles with two candles on it and a note. Slowly, I walk over and pick up the note.
It reads;
Dear Katniss:
I cant even begin to tell you how sorry I am about last night. I feel terrible and an amazing girl like you should never have to go through that. You are gorgeous, smart, funny, and completely out of my league. I love you more then anything in the world, and it pains me to know that I hurt the one I love. I promise that I had nothing to do with Delly, she simply pulled me onto the dance floor, and I stoop there like a drunken idiot. I cant stop thinking about you, and without you in my arms, I feel like a part of me is missing. Im so so so soo sorry my beautiful Katniss.

I wipe the tear away with a sigh. God I love him so much. If only he were here now, but he's nowhere in sight.
As if reading my mind, he steps out from behind a lantern covered tree.
"Katniss, I.." he can't finish because I run into his arms.
"I'm sorry" I whisper "I overreacted"
"No you didn't" he says looking into my grey eyes.
"Im so so so sorry kat-" I cut him off with a kiss.God I missed these kisses. Our lips seem to dance together as fireworks explode inside me.
"stay with me" I whisper
