At first im shocked. Then it really sinks in.

Delly leans down and kisses Peeta. I quickly stand up, running away. I try to stop the tears from coming but its impossible. I WAS SO STUPID! Why would a boy like Peeta ever like a small town girl like me??

I know this feeling. Its happened before when my father died. Heartbreak. I fight back the tears.

I run. I don't know where to. I just run. Soon I find myself at the forest. The one that is illegal to go into. I dont care. I quickly slip under the fence, and run. Twigs and branches slapping my face as I try to get away.

But how can you run away from your own life?

I sit there completely shocked. Delly blows him a kiss before strutting away.

"where's Katniss?" he questions looking around.

"PEETA!" I yell. "how could you?"

"ok I only said yes to make Katniss jealous. I really like her, but she doesn't like me" he says with a sad smile.

"Well congrats, mr I have it all figured out, she just ran away!"

"What? really?" he says frowning. "I will go find her" he stands.

"Peeta, give her some space" I say with a frown. He nods and glumly sits back down.
