《The Assassins of Skyrim |Skyrim Fanfiction|》Chapter 12 Kharjo

"Don't trip on the bandit," Archer warned, stepping over the bandit's body.
Even with his warning I heard Rapier trip. I only knew it was Rapier because of what she said. "Sthiss! Why didn't you warn me about that?"
"I thought you heard Archer's warning," Shay said.
Rapier muttered something under her breath that I didn't catch. Archer peeked around a corner and quickly pulled back.
"Now what?" I asked. We'd only gotten to the first bend in the tunnel and we had already had to kill two skeletons and a bandit.
"Draugr," Archer whispered. He drew his bow and nocked an arrow. It glowed faintly. He ducked around the corner out of sight. There was a cracking sound.
I crept around the corner and saw Archer standing with his back pressed against a stone pillar. Behind the pillar was a shriveled mummy with tattered clothes. It's skin was gray and there was an ancient looking nordic greatsword on it's back.
Archer noticed me and tilted his head toward the draugr. Shoot it, he mouthed. I'm stuck.
I felt Shay and Rapier close behind me, watching quietly. I swung my bow off my shoulder and pulled out my last elven arrow. I knew this would kill it in one shot. The tip flickered with thin red lines. I pulled the string back and aimed at the draugr.
I released the string. The arrow hit the draugr in the head and exploded into a fireball. Archer yelped in surprise and shielded his face with one arm. The fire hit some oil on the opposite side of the open room, killing two more draugr that were walking in.
The fire disappeared quickly. Leaving Archer standing against a very blackened pillar. Archer grinned at me. "That was the best arrow that I've ever seen."

I walked over to the burned draugr that I had shot at and pulled my arrow out. Thankfully it was still enchanted. I smiled and put in back in my quiver. "I got it from Ysolda. She wouldn't use it so she gave it to someone who would. It has served me well."
Shay snorted. "I'd say."
Rapier flicked her ears. "Do you hear that?"
I tilted my head at her and listened. There was a faint sound of shouting from the passage that we needed to go through. "I think so."
Archer frowned at the two of us. "No. You two should lead the way then."
I nodded and started down the passage. It was wide enough for Rapier and I to walk side by side. Rapier had her steel daggers in her hands and her tail was swishing nervously. The shouting got louder the farther we walked.
Rapier hissed and pulled me back. I hadn't noticed that our little hallway had opened out into a large domed cavern. There were two necromancers and four bandits fighting each other. One of the necromancers was glowing faintly purple.
"Archer," Rapier hissed. "Get up here. We need some friendly fire."
Archer squeezed between Rapier and I with his bow in hand. An arrow already rested on the string. He pulled the string back. His arrow flew straight, as usual. When it hit the necromancer that wasn't glowing it exploded into white light, just like on the Throat of the World. I couldn't see anything.

The Devil's Bride
"I am not sleepy so why don't we tell each other a story?" Her voice was low and raspy and fuck, I'd been lying if I say I wasn't turned the fuck on. "Like what?" I ask swallowing my pride and probably my sense of direction. Her skin was on top of mine, in contact, burning. "I don't know." She says taking her time to adjust herself on my lap. I had to grip the chair for support feeling all my breath vanish from my lungs. "Maybe a short bio about yourself." She advocates placing one of her hands on my chest. I feel the contact through my shirt, my eyes trained on every movement of hers. The worst of it all was that she is unaware of what she was doing to me. "Uh-" I feel my words shorten. On impulse, I grab her by her waist for support instead. Leaning back painfully on the single chair. "You're so cute when you're confused!" She giggles going ahead to move slightly on my lap. I blow out a groan feeling my erection harden.
