《Invisible {s.m}》Chapter 23

"I hate you" I said playfully as we walked back to my room.
"You know Cameron is my best friend, you can't do that..he's been there for me ever since I was little"
He sighed and looked out the window.
"He still beats his meat to you"
I smile appeared on my lips but his face stayed straight and he was dead serious.
"You've seen me without clothes before" I said teasingly.
"What no" he said quickly looking at the floor and rubbing the back of his neck with his hand; he's lying.
"So defensive Mendes"
He frowned and narrowed his eyes at me, looking at me up and down.
"Okay maybe I have"
I thought a little, I wanted to find something good to say.
"So you watch me sleep and watch me take showers?"
I giggled and watched him struggle to get out of the situation he put himself in.
I didn't like the fact that he was watching me because I don't have the best self esteem and I don't know wether he'd think I'm beautiful and just like...see all my flaws and think I'm ugly. Let's be real here, I have a lot of flaws.
"I uh..um no..wait..what was the..what were we talking about" he giggled nervously and sat on my bed.
I sat down beside him and layed my head on his chest. He put his arm around my shoulders and tried to take out a strain of hair from my face.
It burned.
"OUCH FUCK"
I jumped and walked away from Shawn.
"Why the fuck did you burn me, you asshole" I ran over to the bathroom to see if my face had actually burnt. It had.
I had a big burn mark all over my cheek.
My mom ran into the bathroom and saw me there with a mark on my face.

"Oh my gosh Amanda what happened?"
I thought about it for a while but I knew I would have to think quick.
"The iron..for my hair. It burnt me"
"But the iron isn't here" she replied while she looking for the iron on the bathroom counter.
"Anddddd that's because I used it in my room, but I turned it off so don't worry"
She nodded and helped me wash my face.
I walked back over to my room and Shawn was gone, he's probably in the attic.
I climbed the stairs and into the attic, Shawn was on the floor, his head in his hands. He really wasn't well.
"Do you know what happened?"
I asked trying to make him look at me, but I guess I also wanted to know what happened to me, what happened to him and I.
When we touch, it's usually cold.
"I have no idea" he looked up at me and a tear fell down his face.
"I'm fine" I said trying to comfort him.
"What if..what if I know what's happening..?" He said looking up at me with puppy eyes..

Two Existentialists | S.R.
"How many existentialists does it take to screw a lightbulb?" Spencer asked with a small laugh. Once again the room was silent. You faintly heard Agent Rossi mutter, "Don't.""2. One to change the light bulb and one to observe how it symbolizes an incandescent beacon of subjectivity in a netherworld of cosmic nothingness," he said. The room was silent still, until you laughed. His eyes looked up at yours in confusion. "Wouldn't they sit in the dark and hope that the bulb decided to light again? An existentialist would never change the bulb. He would allow the darkness to exist," you questioned.-#1 #spencerreid#1 #mgg#1 emilyprentiss
