《We All Die, In The End》motherhood

i couldn't see myself raising a child

bringing up a young thing

while still growing on my own

but if it were to bloom alongside me

id hope of being a mother

so very different from mine

i have never heard of a parent

praising their little one's failures

and yet how do we learn to walk

except for falling over and over?

i would give a cheer for every

scraped knee and bruised shin

which only proves their strength

i hope to teach of a beauty

that is invisible to an eye untrained

and to love the ugly just the same

the storm is just as beautiful

as the golden sunset that comes after

just the same way that sadness

makes joy that much more gratifying

my child would see no boundaries

and be met by nothing but possibility

what they want they shall recieve

through hard work and dedication

accompanied unwaivering support

no i don't see myself raising a child

bringing up another human

while still trying to raise myself

but if i were to raise a child

to become a mother

i would be far

far different from my own
