It was night time now, everyone hunkered down in the tower to decide what to do next. Naruto was explaining possible reasons for Shin Uchiha.

Sarada: You think Orichimaru is responsible for Shin?

Naruto: Yeah Kakashi thinks that Orichimaru is connected to him.

Chocho: Wait who is that?

Obito: Orichimaru was a ninja from the hidden leaf until he was caught doing inhuman experiments on people. He escaped but later tried to destroy the village but ultimately failed. He even trained...

Naruto quickly cut him off.

Naruto: All you need to know is that he is extremely dangerous criminal.

Sasuke: That guy Shin; I happened to saw that he had several sharingans implanted in his arm. Not just anyone is capable of that, it had to be Orichimaru.

Chocho: So do you think that Sarada's mom was taken to this guy?

Naruto: That wouldn't be possible, Orichimaru has been under strict surveillance. I dont think he would be involved in this. It doesn't make any sense.

Sasuke: But he could still be helpful in finding more about Shin Uchiha. Let's head over to his research lab.

Sarada quickly jumped up.

Sarada: Wait Dad!

Sasuke: What is it?

Sarada: Aren't you worried about Mom? How can you be so calm right now at a time like this?

Sasuke: Personal feelings don't matter, they'll only get in the way of a mission. If you want to become a ninja it would be best to understand that.

Sarada looked pissed, so Chocho quickly intervened with her chips.

Obito(thought): Damn that was cold. Then again he was kind of right. On a mission you shouldn't let feelings get in the way of making decisions. It can be the difference between life and death.

Naruto: Well then now that we all are rested I suggest we can get going.

Obito: What about Sarada and Chocho?

Naruto: They can come with us if they wish to.

Sasuke: Wait Naruto...

Naruto: Think about, they came after Sarada so she'll be safer if she is with us.

Sasuke: Fine they can come.

Naruto: Alright then, we can go at day break.

Obito saw Sarada's distressed face and went over to her.

Obito: Don't worry Sarada, he may seem uncaring but from what I heard he has always put on a tough face to hide his true feelings.

Sarada: I hope you are right.

Once the sun rose they all set out. Eventually they came to a barren area where they came across a familiar face.

Naruto: Hey Captain Yamato how has it been?

Yamato: Please, I rather not be called Captain by the Hokage.

Naruto: Sorry, it's just an old habit.

Yamato: Lord Sixth contacted me about what you are doing; I'm sorry but I can't leave my post.

Naruto: Don't worry Sasuke can take it from here.

Sasuke: Let's go.

Sasuke took off as everyone followed him.

They were now in a long hallway with snake shaped lights. While Naruto and Obito were on guard, Sasuke was rather relaxed.

Naruto: It's not like we're taking a stroll through the village Sasuke, you might want to keep your guard up.

They all came to a halt as two figures appeared before them. One was skinny and had white hair while the other was quite large and had orange hair. Their names were Suigetsu and Jugo.

Suigetsu: Long time no see Sasuke, just so you know this isn't the place where you can just bring kids.

Sarada's eyes widened, realizing that they were both on the picture with her dad.

Sasuke: Good timing, we need to see Orichimaru.

Suigetsu: Are you ordering me around?

Jugo: I can show you if you like?

Just then a familiar white skinned person appeared and walked past Jugo and Suigetsu. Sarada and Chocho gasped as Obito stared in awe. Orichimaru had appeared with a seemly innocent smile.

Orichimaru: Oh my goodness we have a most unusual visitor.

Sasuke glared at him.

Naruto: Wow, you look a lot longer than back in the days.

Orochimaru: You should know me a lot better than that. So what brings you all here?

Sasuke: One of your underlings attacked my child and kidnapped my wife. He goes by the name Shin Uchiha.

Orochimaru gasped.

Orochimaru: Let's go in the other room shall we?

Everyone started follow Orochimaru.

Sarada: So that's really Orochimaru?

Obito: Yeah, man even being near him gets me on edge.

Sarada: If he's as dangerous a man people say he is, then why isn't he locked up?

Obito: From what I've been told, they found it easier to keep him under supervision than roam free.

They entered a room with several book shelves and large tanks.

Orochimaru: Shin Uchiha, now that's a name I haven't heard in a while. Yes it is true that he was once one of mine experiments. Remember Danzo, his right arm came from him. He had a unique ability; his body didn't reject any tissue. This made him optimal for cloning experiments. He's now like a shadow clone that won't disappear.

Naruto: Then how do we stop him?

Orochimaru: Simple, you have to kill them all.

Naruto: Wait we can't just massacre them, they are still people.

Orochimaru: Actually humans are a lot simpler than we believe ourselves to be. We are all enslaved by our genes. Take your children for example, they are the way they are because the inherited your genes. Genes are nothing more than recorded data we inherit from our parents.

Obito then stepped forwards.

Obito: Hey wait a minute you can't just...

Sasuke: Why does he call himself an Uchiha?

Orochimaru: Oh yes, that was the name he chose for himself. Despite that he was a reproduction he saw fit to call himself an Uchiha since he possessed the sharingan. In fact he was obsessed with the Uchiha clan, especially your older brother.

Sasuke: I see, so that's who he is. So where is he?

Orochimaru: My, you thank I would give it to you that easily. Then again it would also benefit me if he was captured. And I do kind of owe you a favor. How is the child Naruto?

Naruto: He's doing very well, don't worry.

Orochimaru: That's good to hear. Well then, let's continue this conversation elsewhere.

Orochimaru once again was leading them to a different room. However Obito noticed that something was different.

Obito: Where's Sarada?

Obito came across a lab with Suigetsu and a crying Sarada.

Obito: What happened in here?

Suigetsu turned to face Obito and exited the room, but Obito grabbed him.

Obito: I said what happened?

Suigetsu: The kid wanted a DNA test taken of her and Karin. The test came back positive.

Obito's eyes widened, his face turned into anger.

Obito: How could that bastard do this?

Suigetsu: I don't know but why don't you talk to her.

Suigetsu quickly fled, leaving Obito to comfort Sarada.

Obito: Hey Sarada, are you...

Sarada: You liar, how long have you known this?

Obito: I swear I didn't know, now come on we have to save your mo...

Sarada: Why should I save someone who isn't even my real mom?

Sarada turned around and glared at Obito.

Sarada: I am done being lied to, EVERYONE CAN GO TO HELL!

Sarada's eyes turned into a one tomoe sharingan; Obito's eyes widened.

Obito: SHUT UP!

Sarada flinched back, Obito immediately calmed down and approached her.

Sarada: At this point I don't know what to do.

Obito: You think you're the only person here with a broken family. At least both of yours are still alive, my mom died before I could even know her. And so what if Sakura didn't give birth to you, that doesn't mean she's not your mom. She has cared for you and loved you since you were born. These are things a mom does.

Sarada started to cry again.

Sarada: I'm sorry, I'm just scared of what will happen afterwards. How will things be now that I know this?

Obito: I can't be the one who tells you that, because that is something that only you can decide. Now come on, let's go get her back.
