By the time Obito and Mirai got back to the village it was already night time.

Mirai: fells good to be back home.

Obito: Especially since it's now night time, now I can go straight to bed.

This mission was tougher than they thought it would be, resulting in them using up more chakra. Now that it was night time meant that they got relax and worry about doing nothing else until tomorrow.

Obito: I wonder what Boruto and the others did while we were away.

Mirai: Something reckless that ended up with them getting in trouble.

Obito: Yay that sounds about right, remember when we would get into all kinds of trouble when we were kids.

Mirai: You always got into trouble, I was just a bystander then. Weird that you act so immature considering who your dad was.

Obito let out a chuckle.

Obito: Dad always said I was like mom.

Suddenly a large explosion occurred, making the two turn to the direction of the sound.

Obito: What was that?

Mirai: Dont know, but lets check it out.

Obito: do we have to?

Mirai: As ninja of the Hidden Leaf Village, it's our duty.

Obito: Fine.

They both ran over to the site of the commotion, which eventually led them into a forest. As they got closer they could hear some sort of beast roar.

Obito: Any idea what kind of animal could make that sound?

Mirai: Nothing from around hear.

Suddenly multiple giant stone walls appeared all over the place, forming a circle.

Obito: I recognize that technique, it's the mud wall.

Mirai: The fact that they had to conjure them this large means that we're dealing with something huge.

The two continued their way through the forest. eventually they found themselves in a clearing with other ninja. However these other ninja had tentacles that were biting them. Seeing this Obito and Mirai took out their weapons and sliced the tentacles.

Ninja: T-thank y-you.

It was then the two looked up and came face to face with this monstrosity.

Mirai: What in the holy hell is that!

???: It's a monster called Nue.

Obito and Mirai turned and saw Kakashi along with Sai.

Obito: Dad!

Kakashi: Good to see that you two are back, we could really use the help.

Obito: What kind of creature is Nue exactly?

Kakashi: All you need to know is that this creature gets stronger by absorbing chakra. If we cant stop it then it will takes the chakra of everyone in the village.

Mirai: What's the plan?

Sai: Right now the beast got stronger from the chakra it absorbed. I'll have the barrier team form a barrier.

Kakashi: After that we'll have to do our best to keep the beast restrained.

A purple barrier formed around Nue, trapping him within. Meanwhile all of the ninja inside formed a circle around him. Each ninja got a kunai with a string attached and threw it over the beast to keep him restrained. They struggled to hold him down as the beast fought back.

Obito: Dammit, these things aren't going to hold forever!

Mirai: We have to do our best!

However Nue managed to overpower everyone and free himself from their grasp.

Mirai: What do we do know!

Obito: Screw this, I may be tired but I'm not losing! In order to take something down this big we need something even bigger!

Mirai: And what exactly do you suggest we use?

Obito looked over at Mirai grinning, making her eyes widen.

Obito: You know what I'm talking about.

Obito ran at Nue as Mirai tried to stop him.

Mirai: Obito you idiot, you know what will happen if you use that!

But it was already to late. Obito stopped right in front of Nue as the beast looked down on him. Obito had his sharingan activated however they started to spin, suddenly changing appearance.

Obito: Go big or go home,

Green fire shot up all around Obito. It started to grow and take the from of a skeleton. That skeleton then started to develop flesh and features. Finally, a susanoo.

Obito:

Nue slammed his paw into the susanoo, making it stumble. Nue then got on his hind legs and got ready to slam down. However before Nue could do that that susanoo grabbed the paws. The two started to push against each other until the susanoo dealt and uppercut. As Nue was dazed the susanoo punched Nue once more in the face. Nue regained his footing and sent dozens of tentacles at the susanoo.

The susanoo held out his hand as a green katana formed in it's hand. With one swing all of the tentacles were severed. The susanoo swung it's sword, this time sending out a wave of green flames. Nue charged at hit the flames head on, however it didn't stop the beast. Nue started swinging his claws, each attacked blocked by the katana. Nue then bit down on the blade, trying to rip it out of the susanoo hand. However it maintained a strong grip.

Several more tentacles appeared and bit into the susanoo, absorbing the chakra. This allowed Nue to rip the blade away and hit the susanoo. Nue got on top of the susanoo and went to bit it but then the susanoo spewed out green flames. This made Nue back off as the susanoo got back up. The susanoo then elbowed the back of Nue's head and then conjured another katana. This time it sliced off the entire tail and made sure to burn the flesh.

The suanoo wrapped it's arms around Nue to restrain it. Nue fought back by thrashing but the susanoo kept a tight hold on the beast. After a few minutes a bright light appeared. And suddenly Nue vanished, shocking everyone.

Mirai: W-ehere, where did it go?

The susanoo started to disperse, leaving a worn out Obito on the ground. Mirai ran over to Obito, who was breathing heavy. As she reached him Obito opened his eyes as blood started to leak out.

Obito: Did we win?

Mirai responded by stomping on his stomach, making him curl up into a ball.

Obito: Yeah sure, attack the downed guy.

Mirai: You know that kind of damage you get when you use the susanoo. Can you even see?

Obito: Not really, everything is very blurry. By the way can you carry me back, everything feels numb?

Mirai let out a sigh and picked up Obito and draped his arm around her shoulder.

Obito: So what did happen?

Mirai: No idea, Nue suddenly just vanished. Good for you, if that battle continued you could have gotten worse injuries.

Obito may know how to use the susanoo, but he has trouble controlling it. He can summon it easily it can cause severe injuries on his body. The longer he uses it, the worse it gets.

Obito: On the bright side I can take it easy for a while to let by body heal.

Mirai: And then afterwards I can send you back to the hospital by beating you up.

Obito: Dammit
