Y/N POV

I wake up in pain and to find myself lying in a bed staring at a ceiling. I slowly look around, my vision still blurry from last night. I see various medical equipment and other items sitting around the room.

Y/N: What happened, I thought I died last night?

I attempt to get up but only to find pain surging throughout my body. As I let out a groan of pain then door opens to reveal a man in a lab coat.

???: You shouldn't be moving around especially with type of wound.

I look down and see the area that got blown away last was covered in bandage.

Y/N: Who are you? I ask with my dry voice

Asaki: My name is Asaki Fueguchi, last night my wife and daughter find you unconscious and bleeding out on the ground.

Y/N: What is this place?

Asaki: This is a small clinic that I run to help any ghoul that needs medical attention. It also doubles as my home.

Y/N: What did you do to me?

Asaki: I basically operated on you so that wound of yours would go away also gave you some food to help. I suggest you go back to sleep considering it will take some time before you go back to full health.

Y/N: Ok then

Asaki: One last thing, what is your name?

Y/N: It's Y/N

Asaki then left the room as you returned to your rest.

Timeskip

I wake up a couple of hours later and just stare at the ceiling. Then I here a knock at the door. I sit up and tell the person to come in. A women with long light brown hair enters along with a little girl with short brown hair.

Ryouko: Hello my name is Ryouko and this is my daughter Hinami

Hinami: Hello

She says as she gives a small wave. I then proceed to get in an upright position.

Y/N: My name is Y/N, I'm guessing your Asaki's wife?

Ryouko: That is correct

Y/N: So what brings you in here?

Ryouko: Hinami wanted to ask you something.

Hinami then steps forward

Hinami: How come you only had one eye that was red and black?

Y/N: It's because I'm a one eyed ghoul.

Ryouko has a look of shock while Hinami was a look of confusion.

Ryouko: I thought one eyed ghouls were only a legend.

Hinami: What's a one eyed ghoul?

Y/N: It means I'm half ghoul and half human.

Hinami: How is that possible?

Y/N: From what I heard if a human and ghoul have a kid together they create a ghoul with one kagune, which makes them stronger than normal ghouls. However there is a high chance of the baby surviving and even after it's born the survival rate is low. If the baby is healthy, then you get a ghoul with one kagune and stronger than average ghouls.

I then proceed to activate my kagune.

Ryouko: Another question, how did you end up getting that wound?

Y/N: I got it when I was scouting for food but then got blasted out of the sky by a dove with a cannon. We fought, I won, But was horribly injured. I heard other doves approaching so I ran and ended up under the overpass.

Ryouko: Hold on, does that mean that you're the Demon.

Y/N: Yes I am. "I say as I pull out my mask from the trench coat"

Ryouko: Is it true that you are a chimera ghoul?

Y/N: That is correct

Ryouko: How is that possible?

Y/N: Your guess is as good as mine.

Ryouko: One last question, how come you always travel from ward to ward?

Y/N: Simple, makes it harder for the doves to catch you when you're constantly moving.

Hinami: But don't you have a family?

I look down as I heard that question

Y/N: I never knew my parents, for as long as I can remember I've been on my own.

Hinami: Sorry that I asked

Y/N: Not it's okay

The three of you continue with your conversation.

On top of a building in the 20th ward there stood two men wearing white trench coats. One man had black hair while the other had long white hair.

Mado: Isn't the rain lovely, you know precipitation does this, which makes it the perfect weather to work in.

Amon: According to the 20th ward branches there was a predatory incident happened at this building three months ago. What's interesting is that eye witnesses claimed to have seen Jason and the binge eater here. Not to mention recent reports of the Demon being here now.

Mado: A binge eater, Jason, and a chimera ghoul.

Amon: Three S rated subjects interacting.

Mado: Hard to say, but I think its safe to assume they weren't sharing a meal.

All of a sudden Mado's eyes went large and he started to look for something.

Amon: Is everything alright?

Mado proceeded to leap down the building.

Amon: MR.MADO!!!

Mado: What I tell you, I knew the weather would work in our favor.

In his hands he held a pair of metal pliers believed to belong to Jason

Mado: As far as I'm concerned, there's only one drawback to this downpour. We're not able to find these scumbags.

Mado(thought): Just wait Demon, when I find you, you'll make the perfect quinque for me.
