Everyone was dazed due to what just happened. Uraraka and Sui got up but froze once they saw Nighteye's body with a spike going through it. Deku saw Eri was all alone and ran towards her. However before he could reach her she was snatched up by a tendril. That tendril belonged to Shikorae.
Deku: Shikorae!
Shikorae brought Eri to him and held her in his arms as he grinned.
Shikorae:
Shikorae jumped onto a large stone pillar that was leading to the surface and began to ran on the side of it.
Shikorae:
Deku: No you haven't, because SHE'S COMING WITH US!
Shikorae:
Deku chased after him. Meanwhile Eri saw the piece of Mirio's torn off cape. She began to remember about how she was brought here in the first place. About how Overhaul experimented on her.
Eri(thought): No, enough, I dont want anyone else to die. I dont want this. Why do they keep trying?
As she saw Mirio's cape she remembered his words. On how he promised to be her hero. Her horn started to emit a yellow light and it only grew. Suddenly Shikorae reverted back into his normal self.
Shikorae(thought):
He didn't realize that Eri had slipped out of his arms.
Eri(thought): These people aren't going to give up. Not until I'm safe, even if they die. I have to go back, I have to let them, I have to let him safe me, I have to trust them.
Eri grabbed Mirio's cape and jumped down to Deku. Deku held out his arms, ready to catch her.
Deku(thought): I failed to save her before. I had her in my arms and I let her go. This time I wont make the same mistake. I will save her!

And with that Deku caught Eri in his arms. Shikorae looked down at them with nothing but rage.
Shikorae: GIVER HER BACK!
Shikorae brought put his ukaku and fired shards at him. Deku did multiple flips in the air to dodge them.
Deku(thought): I cant keep dodging these in midair. But I have to, to protect Eri. I'll never let her go. I'll keep her safe. No one will ever hurt her again!
Shikorae leapt at the two with his koukaku as Deku jumped off a falling rock to propel himself at Shikorae. Suddenly Deku vanished a powerful shockwave was created. It sent Shikorae flying into the ground. Meanwhile Deku and Eri suddenly reappeared in the middle of the air and came flying down.
Me(thought): GOD DAMMIT! HOW COULD I HAVE LOST!
I pulled up myself from the crater I created when that shockwave blasted me into the ground. I felt numerous bones broken but they started to heal. The only problem is that my healing is slower than usual. That kakuja took up more energy than I thought. However I refuse to give up now. I WONT GIVE UP UNTIL I HAVE ERI! SHE'S THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN FIX ME!
I saw a massive red light emit from my body as larger mass started to cover my body. This felt different than my other kakuja. It felt more powerful.

Deku held his body in pain.
Deku: My body feels like it's being ripped apart form the inside.
Suddenly something came crashing from below. When the dust cleared Deku was once again shocked by what he saw.
Shikorae:
Deku grabbed Mirio's cape and wrapped it around himself like a sash. He then put Eri in the back.
Deku: You know what, I just hit you at 100% and didn't even feel a thing. Eri's quirk is a blessing.
Eri was shocked, all her life she was told her quirk was a curse.
Deku(thought): I understand Eri's powers now and how they work. So I just have to keep smashing myself at a greater speed than she can rewind. One For All...Full Cowling...100% Percent.
Deku: Please lend me your power Eri.

This story has a loose plot, mostly focused on exploring novel locations and the simple pleasures of traveling. If your interested in reading about strange locations and meeting even stranger people, Melphis's travels will not disapoint. The first few chapters will be a bit slow as he goes from place to place without going anywhere too extraordinary. This story will be more of a slow burn tale rather than a fast pace power crawl. A World With or Without Aliens
Nothing matters. It's not my opinion, it's a scientific fact. This is neither good nor bad, it just... is. I watched my entire country burn, fried on a patriotic pan after some jerk fired a bunch of nukes at the docile fleet of alien ships hovering over us. Who gave this moron such power? I don't know. Everyone involved is most likely dead by now. As for me, I can't die. I feel pain like a normal person would (I think), but no matter how terrible the conditions, I will never die or pass out. Fortunately, a lot of alien technology survived its crash to Earth, so I get to spend some time playing with it until Mr. Author gets bored and decides to screw up my life. Beware, this has a "harem" tag. If you haven't figured it out yet, I'm the main character and am therefore subject to this novel's timeline. While this bars me from the sweet ignorance of Chapter 1's me, it does have other perks... for example, I can tell you that heroine number one is personally responsible for kil-!? H-hey, back off! I'm your character, so if you didn't want me to be like this, then you should've written me differently! Randomguy here! In all seriousness, this novel is meant to explore the concept of nihilism as a post-apocalyptic/supernatural-scifi/satire told from a nihilistic introvert's first-person perspective. As you heard from my unsettled main character, each heroine is going to be a different type of horrifying socio/psychopath with dark motives and dangerous abilities (most of which are psychological). Why would I do something like this? Because I am, in reality, a nihilist who is often frustrated by weird things, like unrealistically dramatic stories, the industrialization of art (specifically music), and people who think swimming in brown creekwater for five hours is a "fun" activity. Don't get me wrong, neither me nor my character are depressed, we're just malcontents who make a lot of nerd references. I feel like the true essence of an "everything is worthless" perspective is lost on most pop-culture figures. The closest character I can think of at the moment is Rick from Rick and Morty, who is a drunk, angry nihilist that experienced tremendous loss. I, personally, find this belligerent state of mind to be very relatable, and have incorperated it into every chapter's introduction. Here, the main character talks directly to the reader (and me), shamelessly complaining about some semi-relevant facet of society, which probably doesn't make much sense... it's not really supposed to, though. These "angry nihilist" moments are just a peak into the main character's everyday existence, and also act as miniature rage-journals for me. It will sometimes take a subjectively 'positive' turn, but not very often. This is because reality isn't good or bad, "it just... is". I will eventually bring it full-circle to optimistic nihilism, since that seems to be a more practical way to live (and by "practical", I mean "doesn't create mental health issues"). It is, of course, a satire. I did this because most unnecessarily emotional moments or people usually make me feel kind of awkward, so I decided to mock them. That is, I plan to mock the characteristics about them I don't like in characters based solely off said characteristics. Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoy my story!
