Hope...

Hope is an emotional state, the opposite of despair. It is the feeling that what is wanted, can be had or that events will turn out for the better.

Hope is a desire in your heart for good things to come.

People with disease hope for a cure.

Starving people hope for food.

Homeless people hope for shelter.

The poor hope for wealth.

Hope is a four-letter word that no longer holds any meaning. Hope now, is something the world has all but forgotten.

Hope is nothing...

Hope doesn't exist in this world anymore, and it never will again.

In the Earths darkest hour, hope fled the world and left us crying for help. It left us bare and defenceless, with nothing to hold on to. So many people lost the will to live and just gave themselves over to the cold grips of our enemies. So many people have lost their humanity, that nothing is left of them but a shell.

Hope is a powerful thing, but the absence of hope is much stronger.

The Earth cannot live without hope, but with every passing day, I see no way of bringing it back.

The Earth will just have to suffer, along with everyone else...
