3 DAYS BEFORE THE TRIP
: Alright class in our school trip, there will have to be either 2 or 3 in a room. I'll let you guys decide who you want your roommates to be. After you're done deciding, write it here on the list.
After he was done talking, people were starting to find their roommates.
: Of course you'll be my roommate, right Jen?
: Who else can I be in a room with except for you?
: Hm that's right.
: Hey hyung, wanna be roommates with me and Beomgyu?
: Sure

Jenna headed towards the library after break since she doesn't have classes but Yuri does so she was alone. She picked her favorite manga book that she has already read like a hundred times already.
She sat at a table and started reading it. Because the sun was shining on her face, it made her eyes heavy. Little by little, Jenna slowly drifted off to sleep.
Inside the library, entered the blue haired boy Yeonjun. He didn't have classes either so he decided to check out the library. He picked an englisch book before finding a place to sit.
That's when he spotted Jenna sleeping peacefully with her head on the table. Yeonjun approached her and quietly sat down opposite her.
He put the books aside and he laid his head on the table as well facing Jenna. He admired her sleeping face and just by doing so, he felt his heart flutter.

Jenna jolted back as soon as she opened her eues and saw Yeonjun sleeping beside her.
: "How did he get here?"
After some time, she couldn't help but to stare at his face. She giggled as thought that he looked cute while sleeping.
Jenna went for it and pinched his cheek.
: You like it?

: Ahh!
She jumped back in surprise and the librarian told her to be quiet. Yeonjun chuckled.
: Stop scaring me!
: I think I should've let you continue and see what else you would've done.
He said and wiggled his eyebrows. Jenna laughed in disbelief and his shoulder.
: I'm going. My class is starting.
She said and started to walk away.
: Ah wait! Babygirl I'll go with you!
They exited the library while joking around. Little did they know that Sohee watched them from afar. She has been looking for Yeonjun and when she went there she spotted him with Jenna.
Sohee knew she had a competition. She wanted Yeonjun's attention as well and she knew she had to get rid of Jenna for that.

It'll go up on Kindle Unlimited after that. How do you get those extra chapters I didn't have planned for RR? If you want them, they'll be in the published book. Book 2 will still make sense without them - I made sure of that. But... isn't $3 a lot for extra chapters? Think of it as tipping me for a good job and you'd also be getting my eternal thanks. If you enjoyed it so much that the idea of missing out a few chapters haunts you, I did my job as an author and made an engaging story. What's in those extra chapters? Resolving a few issues, set up for the cybernetic revolution, a rather intense sex scene with a new partner, revelations of who's really pulling strings, and a bit of set up for book 2. Complaints that people missed out on it when it was published here won't help (sorry!). I posted this for the folks who helped me shape the book, which is you all! (Again, yay!) But... Why! Why not keep it all on RR forever? My editor likes being paid for one. For two, I'd like the ability to get broader readership. If I break even on editor costs, I'll be incredibly happy. What about book 2? Drafts for Book 2 will go up around Sept 10. My draft of Book 2 is done, and it will be handed to the editor once Book 1 is published. Feedback has been even more positive. Beta readers devoured it and wanted more. I'll add a link to Book 2 once it's up on RR. I'm more or less, using you all for Beta Readers, so you get it before it's "canon" and edited. I invite active and meaningful feedback during this process. In return, you get early access to chapters. That does mean that the book content or plot might be adjusted before it gets published as I refine it. Sex Y/N? Yes. I heard the feedback, 90% wanted it explicit. You all will get the "full" experience. Will I dump all of book 2 here? Honestly, I'm not sure yet. At a minimum, it'll be up to the 75% mark as we collect feedback, much like what I did with book 1. It really depends on how good the feedback is and how nice people are. Lots of support + meaningful feedback to make it better = higher likelihood you get all the book. Will be it up here indefinitely? No, it'll probably go up on KU at some point, but I'll make sure there's enough time for a large readership to grab it here. Then we move to book 3 which already is around 60K words already. What about other adventures in the same universe/characters? Yep. Absolutely. Nothing ready to share yet though. I plan to keep those side chapters and more slice of life stories as RR exclusive. Since I'm carving this off in book-sized segments, I'll have to figure out where those disconnected story arcs belong. I'm open to suggestions.

To get things started I would like to admit that this story does not bring much new to the table when it comes to the over-saturated Litrpg genre in terms of things like mechanics and power systems. Then what exactly am I trying to bring to the table with this work? A nice slow-paced novel about people maturing and growing older think of it as the re: zero or jobless reincarnation of Litrpgs. A story that tries to take into consideration how a worldwide system would affect the economics and culture of a world. A story that is much more character-focused than the typical heavy progression-focused novels this genre is known for. The RPG system, like any good power system, is there to actually explore the themes of the story and not just as a plot device for characters to get stronger. This is a story where we will see the growth of the Mc from being a baby to when he dies of old age. With plenty of heart-racing actions and intriguing plot developments along the way. Exploring themes like; What does it mean to improve at something and what does it mean to mature as a person? How does magic, the constant threat of monsters and people so much stronger than the average joe that they can destroy countries affect one's culture both on the micro and the macro scale? How people are affected by the culture in general? Generational trauma Nature vs Nurture Talent vs hard work What is morality, society, and people's opinions on both? What does it mean to be human and what does it mean to be alive in the context of a world with multiple sapient species vastly different from one another in basic biology? All these questions are going to be explored from multiple angles using the system as a catalyst for those discussions. So if any of does questions sound interesting to you what are you waiting for, I'm sure you are going to love this story. PS - Chapter come out every Friday at about the same time.
