"Dimitrius, I've let you soak up in your sorrows for the past three days but I won't let you do it all over again!" Katherine banged on my door.
Here I am, staring blankly from the window, in Felicity's chambers. The deal between the witches and I are off. I promised to protect Felicity yet by a surprise attack, they easily have taken her.
My men and Katherine have tried getting me out of this empty and hollow feeling but nothing worked. I feel weaker each time that passes by, without her beside me and without her blood, I would slowly desiccate.
Those vampires that attacked us, they were foolish enough to think that they can overpower me. Nothing will ever throw me out of my throne, not even Dominic, and his rogues.
What made me curious was how the witches knew that an attack was about to happen and on that same day, they had planned to take my beloved.
Drowning on my own, the only thing that kept on repeating on my mind was, is there any other visioner out there?
Rosaleen was the last known person to be gifted with the visions yet the witches were able to see ahead of me and it only meant one thing, another one is alive.
"If you don't go out there in ten seconds, I'm going to wreck your door, brother!" Katherine screamed, making sure that the whole kingdom could hear her.
She started counting and before she reached two, I opened the door and with my speed, I rushed to the library and had to find the journal of visions, where my sister had written about her other visions.
"What are you doing?" Katherine said with a worried expression. "Help me find her," I told her, pleading with my eyes. Being away from Felicity has been one of the hardest things I faced, even with a lost mate bond, I still feel her.
"Oh, Dimitrius, it pains me to see you like this. She will come back," she told me. How does she know? I've done nothing but to push her away.

I took her away, punished her family, I burdened her with the prophecy and the truth of her identity. All of these are for nothing if I don't have her in my arms.
Felicity will never come back to me because I have never given her the reason. Truth is, I'm not as fearless as what others think about me. I'm powerful because I know my weaknesses and Felicity's one of them.
Once again, I'm caught lost in my thoughts when Katherine started snapping her fingers in front of me. "Were you even listening?" She questioned even though the answer was clearly evident.
"No," I told her bluntly. Then, she explained again, "The rogues attacked us hoping to capture her but the witches got to her first. I know why you're here, Dimitrius. You think that they have an ally, one like our sister," she said with a low and saddened tone.
"I believe that there is one, Katherine. A gifted soul that could see through the end of the prophecy. If the witches have her or him, then they should have long known how everything's going to end, I want to hear it myself," I told her while rambling through every journal that Rosaleen has kept.
Katherine stopped me, placing her hands on top of mine, "You and I both know what happened to the last visioner who saw and spoke of the prophecy," she said, referring to Rosaleen.
Then, Hayden also appeared to where we were. "It's good to see you again, Dimitrius," he said while bowing his head, showing respect. "You can't ravish this whole library by yourselves so I decided to join with you. If you're getting our queen back, we're all by your side."
When he said 'we' I didn't expect to see all of my warriors showing up, ready for whatever's on our way. I may not have my mate but now, I have my family.
"Thank you for your loyalty and will to stand by my side as one family. Together, we will fight to get our rightful queen back," I firmly said in front of everyone, earning their loud chant,

"For Queen Felicity!"
When the cheers and applause have died, it dawned on me why we're truly in this library. Like what I've taught everyone, "To win a fight, you must have greater knowledge than the enemy. As you all know, we've been attacked three days ago, exactly when Felicity's been taken. My guesses are, the witches have found another visioner."
Shocked expressions along with gasps were among the vampires in the room. During Rosaleen's time, there were only about six other visioners that were heard of. Last we've known, Dominic has buried them six feet under after doing a horrible act, he took their eyeballs out and gave them as gifts to anyone that believed in the prophecy.
"How is it possible?" One of then asked. Truth be told, I didn't know whether it was even possible. "That's why I am here in this room, trying to find any clue or evidence from my late sister's journals. If she's able to pass her gift to Felicity, maybe the others have done it too, we just don't know who carries the visioner gift at the modern time," I explained.
They didn't need further information, my men helped, scanning through every page and journal that the library had.
A privilege of vampire speed is that we could read at a much faster pace. It didn't take long until everyone almost finished reading every chronicle.
I read as much as I could even though it brought the memories of my sister back. I know that Katherine could feel it too because she decided to read it at some other place, it's been a hundred years yet the simple loving girl could never be forgotten.
12 December 1899
I saw another vision, it's something my own eyes couldn't believe. How could it be possible? Everyone knew about the future birth of our queen. A strong and fearless ruler by my brother's side, fighting against Dominic.
Yet my vision changed. I saw the night when the two brothers, not bound by blood, but by bond would fight. I know how my brother would take the little child to a kingdom and be the queen she's meant to be.
My eyes have seen how the unfortunate death of Felicity's mother would be, under the hands of the ruthless Dominic. Her deception, the cause of Felicity's birth, started the prophecy.
But I had a dream, one that might change everything else. I thought I knew how things would go after everything I have seen. We all have more than a century to prepare for war.
Last night, I learned something. Felicity's mother would not die under Dominic's hands but by old age. Maria, that would be her name. She would protect our future queen but Felicity wouldn't recognize her as a mother, she would know her as, Mary.
I closed the journal after reading the page. To say that I was startled would be an understatement. With my own eyes, I remembered how her mother looked like.
Brown hair, emerald green eyes, pale-skinned, and everything else that wasn't Mary. How did she survive Dominic's wrath? Most of all, how did she change to a completely different appearance.
Then, I perceived, if she's truly the woman who gave birth to Felicity, she's the sorceress' sister. Another reason why their kind is at peace with mine, Maria's sister is Odette, the sorceress of potions.

Getting reborn as an Orc
MC gets reborn as an orc. He is going to grow in strength, going to gather his followers build up his clan then crash, slaughter, and humiliate the humans, elves, dwarves, and such. This is a kingdom building story with litrpg elements. Litrpg works well when we talk about single character focused story. But in my story MC eventually going to lead his troops against other people. So I invented something called the tier system. It is similar to the grading system other game light story's use but with much more clear and understandable rules, also uses a very simplified stats system. When you hear someone's tier you could easily understand what to expect. MC is a crafty guy, he usually uses tricks and shady tactics instead of brute force to achieve his goals. He gets ailed with unsavory humans to reaching his aims. So MC going to have a lot of dealings with society's criminal underbelly. I warn you, my English is miserably bad. If you seeking a kingdom building story with a crafty villainous lead who outsmarts his enemies you are in the right place. If you seek something written by someone competent in English please pass this story and please just don't write a review.

The Ingress Estate
Jonathon Eucole. Soldier. Scholar. Now an Initiate, the dedication without dedication, he finds himself both prisoner and master of an arcane edifice, the Ingress Estate, which can neither be escaped, nor controlled; only diverted, maintained, and pacified. This is a gothic fantasy story, set in a world in which gods and the afterlife are not only real and known, but were both established in living memory of some of the inhabitants after millennia of arcane warfare with the being who constructed the mundane reality the humans occupy. But this isn't the story of those who colonized the afterlife at the cost of their own humanity, but a somewhat more ordinary man, in somewhat extraordinary circumstances. This is also a LitRPG-lite, which means there's a system of sorts, fragments of which can be observed through Jonathon's eyes. Don't expect level-up screens, or statistics, or indeed numbers much at all, beyond those the inhabitants of the world itself apply to understanding their own reality. It pretty much doesn't matter to the story, I mention it so those who don't want to read LitRPG at all can successfully avoid it here. I don't have any particular plan here, just some ideas inherent in the genre. This is a character concept I toyed with some years ago; an old man, bright of mind but weighed down into apathy, both by his past and his responsibilities for a terrible estate that cannot be left without stewardship. Don't expect any kind of overarching plot or story, because that's really not what this is about. Also don't expect much dialogue. Or character development. Or much of anything, really, because I've planned nothing in the way of an actual book, here. Other relevant information, if you've read this far for some reason: The MC isn't super-powerful to begin with, and probably never will be. He's a veteran with some useful skills, and the insight on how to use them, so can deal with the world's ordinary threats reasonably well, but not too much beyond that. --- Currently on hiatus, as currently the story has a rather poor ratio of effort-to-personal-payoff. I may return to this once I have a clear idea of how to get the stories where I want them. I've started a more standard LitRPG using the same system. But if you like intelligence characters who cleverly min-max their classes, it probably isn't the story for you; it's the story of a rather ordinary guy who winds up in a very similar universe.
