Taehyung knelt before his mother, pleading for her forgiveness but Mrs Kim was beyond mad at how irresponsible Taehyung was. Since Taehyung's father died,she had to work extra hard to be able to provide for her granddaughter. If only Taehyung didn't choose to be a coward by running away from his responsibility, then things would have been easier.

"Three solid years Kim Taehyung, you abandoned your own pup. What kind of Alpha does that?" The elder choked out as she tried to stop herself from crying.

"Forgive me mum. I didn't know what I was doing. I was messed up". The Alpha's head hung low.

"You don't love your pup and I don't blame you but how dare you disappear without a trace only to come back now. This child doesn't even know who you are!"

"Mum I came to make everything right. I promise". Taehyung begged.

"I can't chase you away, after all this is your father's house and I can't stop you from being a father to your pup. But if you mess up one more time Taehyung, I won't hesitate to disown you". The elder spat as she made way for Taehyung to go into the house.

The young omega who got the door earlier was playing with Maya when Taehyung entered the living room with his mother. He immediately stopped tickling the pup and suppressed his smile when he sensed the thick air.

"This is Jimin, he's been taking care of Maya since she turned one. If you want to get close to your daughter, you better be nice to Jimin". Mrs Kim spoke bluntly before going into the house, probably to cry about the return of her son.

Jimin smiled at the alpha and stretched out his hand for a handshake which Taehyung returned. Unlike most Omegas who would get shy around an Alpha, Jimin was staring directly into Taehyung's eyes as they shook hands.

"I'm Park Jimin. I am your pup's nanny, I am..."

"That's enough, I didn't really come back for the pup so I'm not really interested in whatever you have to say about her". Taehyung interrupted the Omega's introduction rudely.

"So-so you are not concerned about your daughter?"Jimin asked with wide eyes.

"Of course I am but that doesn't mean I came back because of her. I just have a little problem which I'll deal with soon and then I'll leave".

"Wow, you're not nice". Jimin frowned at the Alpha.

"My mother must not hear of this okay? Now can I carry my daughter?" Taehyung plastered a fake smile as he stretched his hands to take the child.

The little girl tightened her grip on Jimin's shirt and hid her face in his neck but it didn't stop Taehyung from taking her. She immediately turned to Jimin and made grabby hands, trying her best to jump off Taehyung's arms.

"Give her to me. She doesn't like being carried by strangers". Jimin rolled his eyes and grabbed the child and started patting her back to stop her from crying.

"I'm not a stranger, I'm her father". Taehyung glared at the omega.

"Well she doesn't know you. Now if you will excuse us". The Omega clicked his tongue and waddled away with a whimpering child on his shoulder.

Taehyung watched as Jimin walked away and he scoffed at the omega's attitude. He didn't like Jimin and he was very sure they wouldn't get along well.

"What a silly attitude". The Alpha mimicked Jimin's eye roll before going to get some water from the fridge.

The next morning, Jimin woke up early to make some food he'd pack for Mrs Kim. It wasn't part of his job but for the past two years he was pretty much doing all the cooking and cleaning while Mrs Kim went to work.

The Omega hummed softly as he stirred the stew in the pot, his hips swayed side to side like always whenever he was in the kitchen. It was a habit, not like he intentionally moved to be seen by anyone especially the Alpha who stood by the door watching him.

Taehyung crossed his arms and rested his head on the door frame while watching the happy omega sensually moving his perfect and curvy and perky and...

"Pervert!" Jimin screamed when he noticed that the alpha was staring at his ass.

"Don't be silly! Do you want to wake everyone in the neighborhood with your stupid yell?" Taehyung walked to the fridge and grabbed an apple.

"Then don't be such a creep". Jimin did his signature eye roll and continued cooking.

"I'm not a creep, you're just being overdramatic". The Alpha started walking away.

"I don't like you". The Omega mumbled.

"What was that?" Taehyung turned around.

"Nothing".

"I thought I heard something".

"Pervert".

"Huh?"

"I said nothing".

Well, just like Taehyung didn't like Jimin, the omega disliked the alpha as well. He mentally noted to be careful around Taehyung because the alpha could be a worse person than he thought.

Taehyung glared at the Omega for a moment and turned around to leave only to bump into a small pup with disheveled hair and pink pouty lips, rubbing her sleepy eyes. He smiled at the girl who ignored him as her small feet ran to Jimin.

"Mama". Her little voice squealed from the door as she ran past her father causing Jimin to look down at the small figure with a smile.

"Oh hey my baby, c'mere". The Omega opened his arms for the pup to embrace him.

Jimin looked back at the annoyed alpha who looked like he was hurt by the pup's act.

" Don't pretend you want to hold her. You didn't come back because of her right?" Jimin glared at the alpha.

"Don't be rude you little omega, she's still my daughter ".

" I won't let you hold her because I know you don't love her". Jimin's anger was rising slowly.

"And who said I care about holding her? You know what, fuck you!" Taehyung threw the fresh apple he didn't eat into the bin.

"Don't say things like that in front of a pup". Jimin glanced at the sleepy pup who wasn't interested in whatever the two men were arguing about.

" Annoying piece of fuck..." The alpha left angrily.

Jimin shut the pup's ear with his palm and growled at the alpha's back as he went away. He balanced the child on one side of his hip, holding her securely with an arm before he started bringing out dishes to serve breakfast with the other hand.

"Did you sleep well baby?" Jimin asked the pup, quickly brushing off the little altercation between him and Taehyung.

The girl only nodded as she rested her head on the Omega's shoulder.

Taehyung was a bit hurt that his daughter didn't notice him and even if he had said he didn't care about the pup's love, deep down in his heart he wanted to hold his daughter, love and be loved by her and be a good father to her.

Well, if he wanted to achieve that he'd have to be nice to the omega who the universe knew the alpha didn't like one bit especially when the omega would roll his eyes.
