Roman yawned as he woke up to the golden rays of the sun hitting his face, shining brightly, acting as a natural wake up call. He rubbed his right eye, sitting up to look around the room. Roman yawned again as he got out from under the cozy blankets. He rubbed his eye again but this time his left when. He instinctively walked over to the bathroom that was connected to his bedroom.
He opened the door and walked over to his sink. He turned the cold water on and got lost in his thoughts as he watched the water run down into the drain. He stuck his hand out with his palm facing the water stream. He closed his eyes and sighed contently enjoying the feeling of the cold water on his warm skin. It has been hot recently and Roman just wanted to feel content. He turned the water off and flicked his hand a few times to make sure it didn’t drip.
He turned to walk across the bathroom and started to sing to himself silently.
“Yohohoho, Yo-ho-ho-ho Yohohoho, Yo-ho-ho-ho” Roman sang lowly. He loved the song and it calmed him down which he didn’t really need to be calmed down as he hasn’t had anything happen, it is still nice to sing the old-fashioned song.
The water hit the top of his head. It was cold and refreshing. He once again sighed contently. He ran his fingers threw his hair once again and wished he could never leave. He grabbed the shampoo bottle and ran it under the cold water watching the misty droplets as they ran down the bottle smoothy. He took the bottle out of the continuous stream of pelting water. He opened the bottle and smelled it, getting overwhelmed with the whimsical scent of french vanilla. He relaxed and could feel his shoulder’s go limp. He put that thick, cold, liquid on his hand. He rubbed his hand together to spread the liquid and then took his hands up to his head he rubbed his scalp and sighed while the soapy bubbled worked their magic, taking the dirt out of his hair.
He took a step into the cold water and closed his eyes to avoid getting any soap water in his eyes. He threw his head back to get the soap from his bangs. He pushed his bangs back and opened his eyes slightly to avoid getting to much water in them.
He rapped a light grey towel around his waist and opened the sliding door. He stepped out and wiggled his toes on the fuzzy mat that was there for the sole purpose of drying his feet. He stepped off the mat and onto the cold tile. He walked across to the sink and brushed his teeth with the mint toothpaste that was sitting promptly off to the side. Went in a back and forth, up and down motion with the electric toothbrush or two minutes, and then spit the foamy residue into the sink. He wiped his mouth with water from the sink and looked into the large mirror. He smiled brightly at his reflection, showing his pearly white teeth. He walked out of the room, still having the towel wrapped around his waist.

Upon reaching the carpet in his room his smiled warmly, ready to start the day. He reached the third door in his room. He opened to door, revealing a generously sized walk-in closet. He walked in and dropped the towel. He grabbed a white button-up with some red flowers on it. It was accompanied by a black belt ad some black trousers. He looked in the full body mirror that was to his left and twirled.
He strutted out of the closet and walked out of the room, preparing for the day. Then he walked right back in the room. His dumb arse forgot his phone and wallet. He walked over to the nightstand and grabbed his phone and wallet. When he was doing that, he saw a small piece of paper. It was roughly 2 inches in height and 5 inches in length. It had some writing and a date on it. He picked it up and knew from the texture it was a concert ticket.
He remembered that Remy bought one for him and Emile. He kind of just showed up and gave him a ticket. The ticket was for a concert taking place tonight at 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm. It was starring Roman’s favorite band along with others. Roman put the ticket in his pocket along with his wallet and phone.
He went to his mirror and looked to make sure he still looked good. He looked at himself and noticed an ink dot on his face. The dot turned into a line. Then a triangle without the bottom. Then the ink went up to the first line at a 45 degree angle. He sighed and wiped the edge slightly just to tease the person the universe thinks he should spend the rest of his life with.
Then he felt tingling on his arm.
‘Stop or I will stab both of us.’ Roman chuckles at the writing.
See in this world, you have a ‘soulmate’ or basically who the universe thinks you would be best for you. Anything that happens to their body (on the outside) happens to you. So, for example, if Roman’s soulmate did stab himself, Roman wouldn’t feel the pain of being stabbed but he would still bleed out. Of course, there are some rules. Only a few though.
Rule 1- No saying names. This includes your name or a friend’s name. Rule 2- No setting up places to meet.
Those are the only two rules. If you violated the rules you got the ever so hurtful punishment of getting a burning sensation where you decided to place said violation. People dumb enough to do it compared to the pain of getting branded.
Roman looked around the room and found an old pen. He grabbed it and tapped the back to open the pen and give off the satisfying ‘click’ noise.
‘Stop what?’ He looked down at his and after writing that.
‘That is it. I don’t care anymore. If it hurts me, oh well. If it hurts you, good. My name is’ Roman watched, amused as he stared at is lower arm. He knew his soulmate wasn’t going to write his name as this is the seventy-fourth time he has seen this threat on his arm.

‘Well, what is it smarty-pants?’ Roman teased, testing the waters.
‘Spiderman thank you very much’ His soulmate wrote in fancy writing to really push the sarcasm.
‘Sorry I can not compete with spider man’ Roman wrote, making sure to write Spiderman incorrectly.
‘*Spiderman you uncultured prince.’ He wrote back.
Roman only laughed at the antics and went on with his day. He checked the time on his phone before feeling a rough and wet feeling on his arm. He looked in the mirror and saw the star being drawn back along with their conversation being wiped off.
“Rude much” he mumbled under his breath before leaving his apartment (and house) for good this time. He got into his dark red Jaguar and drove off. He didn’t really know where he was going, he just knew that it was probably to eat lunch consider he skipped breakfast.
Roman got out of his car and walked into the diner, seating himself. A waitress who looked to be only a few years younger than him walked over to him.
“Hello, may I take your order?” She asked looking at him, smiling sweetly.
“Yes, can I have the Greek salad and some water,” He asked looking up at the girl.
“Yes sir, I will be right back with your water,” she said, running behind a door that he assumed to be the kitchen.
He looked at his phone and saw he had a text from Remy about the concert.
Espresso_Depresso- When r we meeting up?
PrinceCharming- Later I was thinking around 7ish
Cute Cartoon Therapist- That works for me!
Espresso_Depresso- Cool, see u then babes
Cute Cartoon Therapist- Bye
PrinceCharming- Bye
Roman put his phone down as he saw his server coming. She smiled and set his water down.
“Your salad will be out soon,” She said as she walked over to another table. Roman picked up the water and felt the ice shaking around. He put the straw up to his lips and took a sip from the refreshing beverage. He set the drink down and went back on his phone to play Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp.
The food was set in front of Roman and he looked up, smiling at his server once again. She smiled back and said a quick enjoy before speeding off. It was most likely rush hour.
Roman sat on the edge of the fountain, waiting for his two friends. Moments before he walked over to a soft pretzel stand and got a soft pretzel with honey mustard. He was snaking on it waiting for his friends. It was 7:03 and in the text, he said 7ish and he did get here at 6:38 but he was getting bored. He threw a coin in the fountain for the 4th time that night.
“Hello, Roman!” He heard his name being called and looked over. There he saw a man in a light beige v-neck sweater with buttons. Underneath that, he had a white button-up shirt and a pink tie. Of course, he also had some darker beige trousers.
“Hey, Emile,” He said waving to the brunette boy approaching him. Remy wasn’t too far behind him.
“Tickets please,” the man running the small both said. We all handed him our tickets and soon we were at the concert. I looked up at the stage and watched as a few other bands performed. Then my favorite band came on, Daily Nightmare. It was an edgy name and an edgy band but I liked them, plus not all the songs are edgy.
The lead singer and my celebrity crush came out on stage. Virgil Morte, the most handsome yet edgy guy out there. Roman noticed that they both had stars on their cheeks. Roman’s eyes grew wide. He reached over to Emile and took the pen he, for some reason, always had behind his ear. He colored in both the starts on his face and sure enough, the stars on Virgil’s face were colored in too. He stuck the pen in his jean pockets and decided to deal with this later.
Roman was happy the concert was over, but then he realized that he can’t talk to Virgil. Oh, wait, Virgil has his meet and greet on Thursday so Roman could just see him and tell him there.
Roman was waiting in the line of other fans and looked at his feet. They seemed rather interesting at the time. He moved up a little when he noticed the heels of the person in front of him disappeared from his field of vision. He looked up and noticed how much closer he got to the front of the line. He could see Virgil now. He decided to entertain himself.
‘I see you Mr. Edgy’ Roman could tell Virgil felt the writing. He pulled his sleeve up and looked around. Roman smiled at this and stepped forward once more in the line, this time with much more confidence.
Roman took his final step and now, he was in front of Virgil.
“Can you autograph my hand?” Roman asked knowing exactly what he was planning.
“Um, sure I guess,” He said as Roman grinned happily.
Virgil wrote his signature and then looked at his left hand. He gasped and looked up at Roman.
“So Virgil, do you want to go on a date sometime?” Roman asked holding his hand out as an invitation.
“I would love too Princey,” Virgil said giving a shy and adorable smile.
“Roman, it’s my name,” Roman said looking at his hand as Virgil took it.
“I’ll keep that in mind Princey,” Virgil was smirking now.
Virgil looked at roman and thought only two things. The first one was ‘sly bastard’. The second was ‘I least I got lucky. He is pretty hot’

So he's trying to be smart, and pretends to be a mysterious wandering magician. Should be easy to fake right? ... and thats the first decision with gigantic consequences, since he doesn't know that only women do magic. A man doing magic is automatically unmanly. Oops.
