《The Founders》07

Hermione and Nesrin have dressed up for the party. Nesrin wears a beautiful red dress and Hermione a blue one. They go downstairs and the music starts blasting. People start drinking but Nesrin is too busy looking for Edmund. She finally sees him looking at her too. She walks up to him. "Hey, good you came." She shouts over the music and smiles.
"Didn't really have much choice, and I love parties." He shouts back over the music. "You look stunning by the way." He adds making Nesrin blush.
They dance for some time before Fred and George launch party poppers. Suddenly Nesrin feels someone grabbing her hand, when she looks up she sees it's Edmund. "Come on." He whispers close to her ear. He takes her outside the common room and starts walking with her next to him to the tower.
"Where are we going?" Nesrin asks laughing. She hates crowded places so she is very much happy with Edmund taking her away, but it's still almost midnight causing Filch to sneak over the corridors to give people detention. They walk up the Astronomy tower and look over the beautiful landscape.
"You don't have to be a genius to see that you didn't like the party that much." He says smiling while staring at the forest and mountains far away.
"Yeah well, crowded spaces give me anxiety." She replies fiddling her fingers. Edmund looks next to him at her. Anxiety? He thinks and decides to ask.
"Nesrin you have anxiety?" He asks worried. He knows fair well what it is.
"Yes, why?" She asks back. Both staring into each other's eyes.
"Why would you have anxiety? I know why I have it, remember the witch?" He asks making Nesrin smile.

"Home..." she simply replies. "My mom and dad are aurors so they fight death eaters but lately they fight with each other as well. The whole summer was me hoping they wouldn't get a divorce." She adds.
"My father is fighting in a war somewhere out of the country." Edmund says sighing. Both look over the landscape again.
"Guess we both have good reasons for having anxiety." Nesrin says. It stays quiet for some time before Edmund speaks again.
"Do you know what your name means?" Edmund asks softly looking at her from the corner of his eye.
"No, my mom would never tell me, something about, when the time is there, you'll know or something." Nesrin replies smiling. "Why?" She asks turning to face Edmund, he faces her as well and smirks.
"Your name means wild rose, since your Gryffindor I see where rose comes from but the wild part I'm still figuring out." He says grinning.
"Wait you really think I'm all innocent huh?" Nesrin asks back sarcastically. Edmund laughs.
"According to Draco, who loves to complain about you by the way, you never had a boyfriend or first kiss, it's actually pretty creepy how he knows." Edmund replies.
"Wait, who says Draco was telling you the truth?" After all, Nesrin didn't want to admit that she never kissed someone before.
"I do, but don't worry that makes two of us." He says making Nesrin smile again. How is it even possible?
"People only see my brother you know, he is the older and handsome one, he is smart and probably better in socializing then I am." Edmund adds.
"That's definitely not true, I had to say hi to your brother, and you came up to me. So your better in socializing." Nesrin replies.

"Guess you got me on that one." He says smiling softly. She wants to tell him so badly, tell him what's been on her mind for the whole week already. Tell him that he is the one in her mind, not Peter. "You're staring." He says smiling.
Nesrin turns around and looks over the landscape again. Edmund puts his finger under her chin and turns her head so she faces him already. Ow fuck it. He leans in and presses his lips onto hers. Not immediately realizing what's happening Nesrin pulls away, they look at each other. "Sorry I..." Edmund gets cut off by her lips again onto his.
His shock makes place for surprise and he kisses her back. After a while they both pull away and smile at each other. "Who's up there?" They hear Filch's voice. The stairs are cracking beneath his feet.
"Hide!" Edmund whispers.
"What about you?" Nesrin asks softly, she is worried.
"Just hide, I'll be fine." He whispers, Nesrin hides beneath the stairs and Filch walks past her. Edmund signs at her to go down which she does. She runs back all the way to her common room where the party had ended. Peter, Hermione, Fred, George, Lee and Angelina all look at her when she walks in.
"Where have you been? We thought you disappeared for good!" Hermione asks worried. Nesrin smiles and sits down thinking about what had happened.
"What's going on with you? Never seen you like this. Come on spill it!" George says smiling at his friend.
"I ... wow." Is the only thing she could say. The confused faces of the others staring at her.
"Did someone use a spell on you or so?" Fred asks getting a little worried.
"He kissed me!" Nesrin says smiling widely making everyone silent around her.
"Who kissed you?" Angelina asks still hella confused.
"Edmund." Nesrin replies. They all start asking questions about it so Nesrin tells what had happened.
"So he got caught by Filch but let you get away, sweet." George says being happy for his friend.
They all go to bed but Nesrin asks Peter to stay a little longer. "Edmund told me about Narnia in a wardrobe and him betraying you guys, did that happen?" She asks softly scared for the answer.
"Narnia was our secret, our escape from the real world. He must really like you if he told you about it. Lucy was the one finding it in the first place, we all got in and mistakes were made by all of us. I think Edmund was around eleven at that point. I should've looked out for him." Peter explains. "And I didn't."
"Guess it was no one's fault but he still feels bad about it." Nesrin replies sadly. Peter nods.
"I know, but he told me himself that you can't turn back time, but you can move on from it." Peter says before standing up. "If you ever want to know more about Narnia, guess Lucy would love to talk about it." He adds before walking to his dorm.

The Everlasting. (Completed)
An Everlasting. A title given to those who have reached a state closest to godhood. Be it through might and power or through love and compassion. These beings hold great influence over the realms. This story is about Asura, a young orphaned child, who was taught the way of the blade and has mastered the Warrior Arts at a very young age. Given a recommendation by his master, Asura ventures out to broaden his horizons and to learn magic. Follow Asura’s journey and his quest to reach Everlastinghood. Comment by the author: Looking at the chapter list, you might have noticed Volume 1 is not there. The reason is that it’s in the process of being published so I’m somewhat restricted in where and how I can post it. Edit. 18/04/2017 The first volume is now officially on sale. It is no longer possible to get the first volume for free. I am sorry but it was free for a long time and it was time for it. However if you like to support me you can find th first volume here on Amazon (getBook.at/TheEverlasting) Compared to other stories on Royal Road this one is faster paced. No artificial extensions of the story by spending forever in generic constructs, like random ranking tournaments, that don’t really matter for the overall plot. That’s the plan anyway. Volumes consist roughly of 30-35k words. Additionally: I am not a native speaker, nor have I had any formal education in the English language. I am trying very hard to improve myself. If you want to help me by proofreading my story, shoot me a PM and we’ll see if we can arrange something. Other than my thanks and fake internet points I can’t offer anything, though. Yeah, poor student here… Edit 22/06/2017 Hey the story is officially ended if i ever decide to continue it will be on another date. The ending is open for anyone to use their imagination. Thank you all for the support. I hope we could meet later in the Everlasting II. Respectfully Biako

Tales of the Legendary Scholar
They meet in the most unlikely moment and turned their life around. Freidrech newly arrived in his own nation's capital city, which is so foreign to him compared to his village's idyllic and nondiscriminatory atmosphere, after he is forced to come. Now, he is facing a royal prince and tells him to bow. This draws out one of his late father's teachings from the deepest recesses in his mind. "The blood of your great ancestors runs in your veins. Don't easily bow down to anyone, or accept suppression by any being, not even from a monarch, unless you pledge your allegiance to him. Also, giving in to oppression is directly telling the oppressor that you're easy prey and open for manipulation." He is uncertain on how to face this oppression right now. Will he bows or not? What will he do to uphold his father's words while keeping his life safe? As for the prince, Theodrech has nothing to do with Freidrech, so he wishes to let this slip, but the boy opens his mouth and proposes the most ludicrous challenge he ever heard and triggers his curiosity. "I, Freidrech Goederf Gerboud, son of the late Village Chief Louvel Gerboud of Wrilon, will challenge you, Your Highness, to a battle of riddles… If you win, I will not only bow but be your servant for the rest of my life." This amuses the prince. It is the first he met a boy of the same age who is not intimidated by the air of authority he projects. Rather, this boy challenges him. "Why are you so headstrong? In fact, bowing to me is an honor. You saw the King's noble Knights. When they saw me, they bowed," says Theodrech, testing Freidrech. "Allow me to be forward, Your Highness. For me, bowing to a monarch does not guarantee loyalty. If I were you, I rather have men who stand straight in my presence but who got my back, than bowing men who are dreaming of my death," replies Freidrech. The prince’s curiosity increases. A huge smile is seen on his face. Prince Theodrech decides to take Freidrech under his wing. Little did they know, this boy who Prince Theodrech takes in as his confidant and friend in the most ridiculous fashion is someone indispensable in his life and the one who can help him succeed the throne when he almost believes he has lost. Thus, the Tales of the Legendary Scholar begins. ------ o ------ Old Synopsis: A famous ancient adage stated, behind a successful man is a woman BUT… In these lands, the monarchs are seeking not a woman to stand behind them but the man hailed as the Legendary Scholar.
