《The Dark Apprentice: a teen titans fanfiction》The Dark Apprentice (RavenxSlade)

I woke up on my back, laying in a darkened alley. I felt the cold asphalt through the thin layer of my cloak and leotard, and shivered slightly. When I sat up, I was faced with the sight of a road, a few cars passing now and then, with people walking around. I touched my temples when a sudden headache struck, and I immediately knew what was wrong. Someone has erased my memories.
Pushing myself to my feet, with an effort, I staggered towards the street, the large lamppost illuminating it clearly. I looked around and saw signs, advertisements really, most saying "Jump city". I figured that must be the name of this place. I pulled up my hood as a breeze blew by, and started walking. Where was I going? No idea. Did I care? Not really.
I wandered around for a few hours until I got hungry. I bit my lip as my stomach growled for the 4th time in 10 minutes, and glanced around for somewhere to get food. Just then, an explosion shook the ground as a meteor struck the pavement in the middle of the city. On instinct, I ran towards the sounds of panic, dodging around the people who were running away. Cowards, I thought bitterly as I rounded the corner and ran into another alley.
When I got to the other side, I looked around and saw a tall girl with long, red hair that was blowing with the breeze. Her eyes were a glowing green. Literally! Her eyes glowed against the dark night. In front of her was a kid that looked around my age. He had spiky black hair, and was wearing green tights with a cape. Huh, a little old to be playing superhero, I thought.
The girl charged at the boy, who ducked out of the way, but was thrown backwards when he failed to dodge another hit. She was standing over the fallen boy, about to strike again. Just as I stepped out of the alley way, I saw a green creature ram into the girl, sending her away. The animal then morphed into a small green boy with pointed ears and a weird mask. "ExDoom Patrol Member Beast Boy, sir!" I heard him state. Wow, I thought, this sure is a strange planet.. must be Earth.

I continued watching as they fought, until the girl picked up a bus, and threw it at the boys, who jumped away. Just then, a large, and I mean LARGE, figure jumped in the way and caught the bus. He dropped it to his side and yelled "Yo! Whos here messin' up my neighborhood?"
the green one said something that I couldnt catch.
A moment later, the girls handcuffs fell off, revealing another pair of bindings. These green orbs of energy left her hands rapidly and flew at the boys. They jumped behind the bus. A few seconds later, the girl dropped to her knees, her hands smoking. The large man and the green one started to run back out, but the one in tights stopped them, before walking over and undoing the bindings. Fool! I thought. However, she grabbed him and pulled him closer for a second, before shoving him down again. She ran towards me.
I backed up farther into the alley I was hiding in. I kept backing up until my back bumped into something. Turning around, I saw the armored chest of a man. Looking up I saw, not a face, but a black and orange mask. "Hello there" it said in a surprisingly smooth tone. "I think we need to have a chat"
