《A Fake Proposal》Meeting the Family

When they finally got off the plane, Allison noticed how considerably darker it got.
Time change, I suppose.
As soon as her feet hit the ground, she wanted to kiss it. She stomped her feet on the ground and danced around, not even caring who saw, she figured not many could see her, since it was dark outside anyways. The one person that she didn’t want to see however did.
Tom laughed at her little jig as he got off the plane. “Now dear, I think we all know who the scared one was out of the two of us. You seem much happier now though, keep it up, I might be able to bear being around you more often than I anticipated.”
“Oh well then I will stop immediately.”
Tom just gave her a half smile as he walked on past her. She rushed to keep up with him.
Damn him and his long legs.
As they walked into the London airport, she saw crowds of people standing around holding signs with different names plastered on them. She looked around at all the names, and asked “Mr. Hiddleston, you’re family isn’t going to be meeting us here are they?”
“Oh no, I told them all before we left that we would be checking into the hotel and then we would meet them for…”
"TOOOM!"
Tom’s eyes widened as he stared past me, to whoever yelled his name.
“Oh lovely, I was wrong. They are right behind you, I guess they forgot what I said.” He stated grimly.
Allison turned around and saw a woman holding a sign that read Tom’s name on it; her face was beaming with happiness.
“Is that you’re mother?”
“Yes. Let’s go.”
He started walking even before Allison could grab her bags from the ground beside her feet. He didn’t even bother helping her out either.
Typical. Not even for the parents.

Allison grabbed her bags and trotted behind Tom, through the crowd, trying her damn hardest to keep up with him.
Right beside his mother was another young girl who looked to be in her young 20’s, around Allison’s age. She looked just as happy to see them as well.
When Tom finally reached them, his mother hastily put down the sign and took her son in her arms.
“Oh my boy! I haven’t seen you in the longest time!” She hugged him for a couple more seconds and let go, turning her attention to Allison, who came up dragging her bags with her.
“Oh Thomas, why don’t you help the poor girl, goodness!”
“Oh she’s quite alright mother, she is quite the trooper.”
The younger girl glanced at him, her eyebrows raised, while his mom still was grinning from ear to ear.
Allison put her bags down again and said “Hello, nice to meet you Mrs. Hiddleston.”
“Well hello! Nice to finally meet you! Tom has told us all about you dear!” she reached around and gave Allison a hug as well.
“Oh well, nice things I hope?” laughed Allison.
“Oh yes.”
Hmm...he said nice things about me, I must remember to bring this up later.
He looked a lot like his mother, he has her electric blue eyes, and her dirty blonde hair.
“Hello, I am Emma, his younger sister.” She held out her arms and gave her a hug as well.
“Nice to meet you.” Allison smiled.
Emma looked a lot like them as well except her brown eyes, Allison noticed.
Everyone should stood there, a bit awkwardly for a few seconds. Tom just looked uncomfortable, not even standing near Allison at all, like he had forgotten she was his fiancée for the next 2 weeks.
“Well, let’s get a move on then, shall we?” his mom piped up.

Tom finished putting the last of the suitcases in his mother’s car, and got in the backseat, beside Allison.
They drove for a while, small talk ran rapid, and Tom was about to go insane. Then suddenly he realized they weren’t headed towards the hotel. “Well mother I wasn’t expecting you to meet us here, after our phone conversation I thought I told you we were to get cleaned up at the hotel first, and then meet you all for dinner.” Tom looked tired, and a bit on the annoyed side that his mother ruined his plans to first go to the hotel and get cleaned up, and then go meet everyone later.
“Hotel? Oh yes that’s right now I remember you saying that. Well there is no need for that my dear. We have your old room fixed up for you too already.” His mother smiled.
Allison glanced over at Tom, looking confused. “Um, no mother that is quite alright, we have plans to stay in a hotel already. We…”
“That’s not necessary Thomas! You know we don’t mind! We want to see the most of the happy couple while we can after all!”
“But mother, I insist...”
“No buts Thomas, this conversation is over, come on now you two lovebirds! We are here! And Thomas stop being such a drag, Miss Smith here deserves the best company.” She turned around in her seat and winked over at Allison.
Tom’s mouth stood agape, speechless.
Allison couldn’t help but snicker and the current state of her boss, and the way his mother deals with him.
“Well someone is a momma’s boy?” Allison gleamed with delight up at him.
“Hush!” He snapped as followed her out of the car.
Oh my...
As soon as Allison got out of the car, she saw his house, and man was it something else. It looked as if it was something off of Downton Abbey. The place itself looked to be the only house for miles. It was made entirely of a light brown brick, and had columns lining the front porch that wrapped around to the other side of the house. In the background she saw a blue lake, which had a dock, she saw several people fishing there already. It had light blue shutters on the windows that went well with the color of the brick on the house. The grass was beautiful, the trees surrounding the place were lovely, and everything was just perfect.
“Wow, this is beautiful.” She whispered to Tom. But he was over with his younger sister, several feet away. She walked over there and made it in the middle of the conversation they were having. “Emma, did mother have to invite all of these people here?”
“Tom! It’s for you and Allison of course! To celebrate the engagement! Don’t fret dear, its family and a few friends, nothing big.” Confused, Allison looked back to the front of the house and saw several, if not 10-15 cars in the drive.
“Well, I’m going to where the party is happening! You guys come along when you can. Looks like mother already made her way inside. You need help with the bags Thomas?” Emma asked.
“No Em it’s quite alright. I think we’ll manage. She grinned as she made her way back to the mansion.
Tom walked closer over to where Allison stood. “Well I just want to apologize beforehand. This idiotic party shouldn’t last too long. Don’t be nervous or anything.” While he was saying all of this to her, his own hands was quaking slightly. She remembered the plane, and when she was nervous.
“It will be alright Hiddleston, just breathe.” Then she took one of his shaky hands into her own, before following his sister back to the house.

A Mildly Odd Reality Breaker
Omar receives an unexpected visitor who comes baring a gift—a "registration ticket"—in the form of a small metal card. The ticket is itself an offer to participate in the game, "Reality Break." Accepting this offer means that Omar will be able to perceive the true nature of reality where there is not one, but two dimensions of time, and in this second dimension history changes (and somewhat "frequently"). Along with this, he will also gain access to the "chronopause"; another reality that is not so much parallel to our own as it is perpendicular, which acts as both a place and the natural boundary between non-sequential points on the timeline. Using the chronopause, Omar will become a chrononaut with the ability to travel through time, and as a player, he will be given a cybernetic interface and his own portable extradimensional storage space. It's a strange conversation, but due to Omar's dismally short attention span, he only consciously hears that last bit about the portable pocket space, and that's only after the physics-defying void is opened in his living room and literally waved in front of his face. Reality is certainly stranger than most people realize, but then again, so is Omar. Thankfully, he responds well to shiny things, and for better or for worse, his chronic inattentiveness is the least of his psychological issues. Omar also has a mild form of "Oppositional Defiant Disorder" which presents itself as an occasional, arbitrary need to disobey others (especially authority figures). However, his oddest psychological issue by far is his "abnormally hyperactive" subconscious mind. Outwardly and consciously, Omar is a lazy, apathetic man-child prone to mildly asinine behavior. Subconsciously, he's some sort of genius capable of extraordinary feats of cognition. Most of the time, Omar is a (technically) functioning adult, but in order to live as such, he must rely entirely upon unusual abilities he's completely unaware of, despite the fact that he uses them regularly. Up until now, his life had merely been ridiculous, but now it was also a game. Note: The narrative style is that of a reliable narrator with a "3rd-person sarcastic" POV. This story takes place in the Reality Breakers/Chronopause universe.

Unfettered Spear
[Ratata~] Being showered with bullets from all directions, I certainly don't feel so good. Especially, feeling the bullets passing through my body, which is simply torture. After God knows how long, the gunfire finally stopped. I had my head down, contemplating that this was the end. However, it was at this time that I heard someone jumping off the car in front. I looked up and saw that it was the "Boss." "I should've done this much sooner, you really done a number on my men despite being alone!" "I must admit that you are good, but too good that you're a threat to MY throne!!" "I–" Alas, the Boss' monologue was cut halfway through. When he held his head high, an action to signify his pride, a bullet pierced through his under chin into his brain and out the back of his head. He looked at me in disbelief, like the others around. None of them anticipated that I could still fire my pistol, much less accurately aiming at one's head at the hip level, after being turned into a bloody meat-sieve. "You... Monster!!!" To the Boss' dying words, I only replied with a smile as my strength left my body.
