Even I felt the bond break between us all. Neither Stefano nor Ayako fell or was in pain. I think Taja has always known it wasn't right.

Stefano POV-

Taja and I felt at peace now, like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. I also felt happier. Then it hit me, the most amazing smell I'd ever smelled, it wasn't like Ayako's scent. She did smell nice, but this was a more masculine scent, one that could bear me to my knees, this one belonged to my mate and he was coming for me. I shifted and ran, jumping out the window and running towards the forest, I've been waiting on my true mate for over a year, and I want him all to myself.

Beta Rowan-

My mate was definitely at the castle. I hit the brakes and hopped out of the car. I can run faster in wolf form and Onyx was right I need to get to my mate. I could hear yelling in the distance, but I'd already taken off. Sorry folks, my mate comes first. She was on the move I could tell the closer I got to the castle the more the heavenly scent of rainwater and grass hit my nose. My mate was running towards the forest, I am not letting her getaway. ONYX she cannot escape run faster. We transformed into our wolf form. Onyx runs faster instead we get ahead of her and then we launch.

Pinning her against the floor. We take a look at her. I know this wolf; I've seen it before it's Taja.

Shift little wolf. While I am confused, I am not surprised. One of the Alpha Kings' children had to be my mate I am a Royal wolf, but I never expected it to be Stefano. Nevertheless, he will not leave this forest without being MINE!!!!!

Yes, I have Alpha and Demon blood, but the submissive part is stronger, so when Rowan said shift Taja caved and did as he was told.

Now it all makes sense. Why Taja has always been submissive and listened to Rowan, why has he always confronted me when I'm upset. Those sparks that Enzo always describes I feel them, this is exactly who I was meant to be with, and I couldn't ask for a better mate. So, I kissed him.
