《Jade *COMPLETED*》Chapter 10

Jade POV
"What do you mean there is an army of vampires coming here?" I asked with venom in my voice. It has been over a week since the pack found out about me and the girls, and a week since I found out about the pack. Which also led to me finding out about vampires and that Bella Swan, a girl which I didn't like as a child, was dating one of them. And that my stupid twin brother is in love with her.
"I mean that the army of vampires are coming here for Bella," Jake replied. I saw that his muscles were tightened up, and it looked like he was about to phase. "Sam, we need to help them."
"Help them? Or her?" I asked as I sat on Paul's lap. He has a very comfortable lap, even though I can feel his popsicle poking me in the backside. "Jacob can't you see that this girl is using you? Do you really think she actually loves you?"
"Yes!" Jake replied instantly making me groan as Paul massaged my shoulders.
"Then you are delusional, and there is no way in Hell, that I am helping that selfish manipulator," I say before getting up from my comfortable spot and walking out of the house. I walked through the forest during the night and ended up seating at the beach.
"You really need to stop leaving like that," I hear Paul say behind me, making me smile that he cared to follow me.
"It calms me down," I reply as I look out towards the sea whilst Paul comes closer and sits down next to me.
A silence passes over us as we watch the waves come and go.

"What are you thinking about in that head of yours?" Paul asked, breaking the comfortable silence.
"How everything was easier back in Gold Coast," I reply honestly. "There were no major secrets to hide, just our mermaid secret. There was no weird love triangle happening, no other supernatural mythical beings. Just us four girls. But now that I moved back here, everything changed. I suddenly not only have to look out for myself, but also for the pack and the Cullen's. Oh! And add Jake's love for that stupid doe eye girl with a thing for garlic haters."
Paul chuckled at my words as I finished my rambling. "I know how you feel. It is a lot to take in when you fall into this whole other world that you thought was just fiction. But it'll get better over time."
I turned my head towards him and giggled when I saw him looking at me. "You're staring again."
"Do you mind?"
I shook my head before leaning in and kissing him. I pulled back slightly but only to get pulled onto his lap again as he devoured my lips in a passionate and rough kiss. I moaned into the kiss when I felt him again.
We pulled away from each other to catch our breaths. I put my forehead against his as I inhaled his masculine scent.
"Tell me something to hold on to and never let go," I whisper.
Paul smiled at my words. "Let go."

Loremaster: A Progression Dark Fantasy
Serena had died a Celestial. One of the few who were meant to rule over the vast multiverse. Yet she was inexplicably reborn. Carrying the knowledge of her past life, she seeks to do what her kind does best... rule. Yet, the multiverse isn't what it once was. Mortals aspire to become what the celestials once were, through levels or classes or cultivation. New things that didn't and shouldn't exist. And these mortals are only the beginning of what stands in her way. [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Warning: There will be times that morally suspect themes happen. While I have little to no intention of showing them (especially during a Writathon) things like abuse of all kinds (neglect, emotional, mental, spiritual, physical and sexual) can or be implied to have happened. These are played to the horrors such things are, and are treated with the seriousness and aftereffects it would cause. Progression + Cultivation + GameLit + Multiverse + Slow Build + Slow Burn + Worldbuilding + Grimbright + Multiple POVs = Insanity for all. This the first time I am seriously writing an original story. I will be Writing each book in Parts/Arcs (3-6) with mini arcs (3-6 in each arc). Each Mini-arc is 5-14 or so chapters. I like progression stories and I've always wanted to try and write one like a few of the web novels that inspired me. The Game Lit aspects will be more in the background, with focus on other details like dungeons, monsters, loot, morality, and so on. There will be focus on various kinds of progression. Updates 3-5 days a week (Usually weekdays). Chapters will be roughly 1000-2500 words and alternate wildly.

Eater of Spirits
Story is abandoned. There will be no more updates on it. Jarod is kind of a loser, as it goes with these stories. A tear in his reality pulls him into another world, where he gains the ability to devour spirits, the locus of magic within the world. This is far from my first foray into fiction, but it is my first time posting anything to royal road, and first time writing LitRPG. This is an exercise in putting things out there, and just writing. That means that all of this is going to be a first draft, where edits may come sparsely if there is a glaring issue or something I think should be better. Thanks for reading!

Captain Critiques: A Grumpy Pirate Review Book
(CURRENTLY OPEN)When it comes to reviews, I'm probably as harsh as the hellhole most story ideas crawl out of. I'm blunt, sarcasic, to the point and I know what I like in a story. As you can probably guess, you don't wanna take my advice if your like an overprotective mother about your story. Who am I kidding, EVERYONE is like that about their stories. But, if you could find the courage to pry the story out of your cold, crabby hands so I can give my brutally honest opinion then be my guest. Just don't try and start a fight once I provide it. You DON'T wanna fight a pirate. .................................. I reserve the right to decline stories as this will be taking up quite a bit of my time and if I say no, I mean NO. If your blurb is unreadable I will decline it. If it includes the genres mentioned in my 'Hell No' section then I will send it back where it came from.Do NOT critique the Captain.
