"Eve, are you okay?" Baley asked as she watched her lover groan from discomfort. Eve shook her head before emptying her stomach onto the grass.
"No. I'm hot and sick to my stomach." The two women have been doing nothing but preparing for battle that could happen at any moment. Eve wanted nothing more than to rest, her body singing to relax on her bed. Baley knew something was off, Eve's aura shifting completely within the last few days.
"Let's go lay down-"
"No! We have to keep going!" Eve hissed as she rubbed her stomach before continuing down the trail. They were walking from the village, Eve's black cloak covering her entire being so no one would recognize her.
"Eve, you need to rest."
"I'll rest when he's dead. He can attack at any time, Baley. I refuse to put my guard-"
"EVE!" Baley suddenly growled, her yell deep and bubbling with other voices causing Eve to stop in her tracks. She glared at Baley who just glared back, her gold eyes turning red with anger as she blinked.
"Fine." Eve huffed before gliding away toward their small home. Baley followed suite, watching as Eve got undressed and laid down in bed, touching her stomach. She felt warm, the sweat dripping down her back. She lifted her hand and with a flick of her wrist allowed a cool breeze to fill the room causing her to sigh in content.
"Eve.."
"What?!" Eve snapped as she looked at Baley who just stared at her stomach. She slowly lifted a hand and placed it onto her navel before closing her eyes, the small heartbeat filling her ears causing her to gasp.
"What is it, Baley?"
"A baby." Baley whispered. Eve sat up with a frown on her face and shook her head before looking in the corner to see the woman standing there and nodding abruptly. Eve didn't tell Baley that she's been seeing her mother's spirit the last few days. It started after the ritual, Eve waking up to see the woman with fire red hair and glowing eyes staring down at her with a grin.

"W-what?" Eve whispered as she looked down at her stomach. Baley nodded as she swallowed the nervousness that plagued her being as she stared at her lover.
"Just close your eyes and listen." Natasha whispered and Eve cleared her throat before placing a hand on her stomach and closing her eyes.
Mama..
Eve gasped abruptly and opened her eyes, the tears streaming down her face as she looked up at Baley who immediately wiped her tears. Eve didn't know how to feel, a sudden surge of anxiety filling her body as she stared at Baley in surprise.
"This is such bad timing-"
"I'll make sure nothing happens to the baby." Baley stated abruptly. Eve just sighed, running a hand down her face before looking over at her mother who just smiled softly.
"It will be okay. Just take a moment to relax. He's not coming yet."
"How do you know?" Eve asked telepathically and Natasha smiled as she walked over, sitting next to Baley who didn't have a clue what was going on. She slowly placed a hand on Eve's stomach with a soft smile on her face.
"I've been watching him too. But then again, he is unpredictable. However, I've done a protective spell around the both of you. Rest, my love. And eat some fresh fruit. It will help."
"Eve? You okay?" Baley asked as she saw Eve staring into space. Eve blinked rapidly, drawing her eyes from her mother's spirit and allowing them to fall onto her lovers.
"Fruit-"
"Yes. Anything you want. Natasha used to love fruit when she was pregnant with you. Anything else, my love?" Baley asked as she leaned down and kissed Eve's stomach.
"Water."
Baley and Natasha watched as Eve moaned while devouring her large bowl of various fruits. There were fresh grapes, cold watermelon, blood oranges and other types of fruits that had the small witch in heaven.

"You want some?" Eve asked as she looked at Baley who just smiled and shook her head as she pushed the large jar of fresh spring water in her direction. Eve grinned with a face stained with fruit and grabbed the jar, downing the entire thing before letting out a breath. She listened to her mother chuckle behind her hand and she smiled slightly before looking at her lover.
"Can I have some more?"
"You're ravenous aren't you?" Baley grinned causing Eve to blush before nodding. It soothed her stomach just as her mother said and she couldn't be happier. She still wasn't certain about the baby, but the look on Baley's face made her consider it. She wanted to be fully prepared for battle, but she knew the baby inside of her will slow her down. She wanted nothing to happen to the child, but she also knew it was unavoidable if she were to get hurt.
"So what does this mean? Is the baby growing fast?"
"Yes. The baby is like us. Just in human form." Eve watched as Natasha nodded in agreement and she swallowed hard before touching her stomach.
"So does this mean I'll have them sooner than later? What about the pastor-"
"You have nothing to worry about. We gonna win and break the karmic cycle for good. We just gotta figure out a plan to protect you from him. He can smell that baby and use it against us."
Eve swallowed hard and looked over at Natasha who looked sad as she nodded in agreement.
"When he came..he called me his daughter. What does that mean? Did my mom ever talk about my dad? Was he human?" Eve asked as she looked between the two women. Baley swallowed hard as she placed the bowl in front of her lover before allowing her hands to rest on her shoulders.
Natasha stood next to them, sighing as she looked at her daughter with a look of anguish. She didn't want her daughter to know how she was conceived, but she knew the truth was going to come out eventually. Before she died she made Baley promise to never tell her who her father was.
But it was inevitable at this point.
"Before you and your mom died..I made a vow to never speak of your father-"
"It's him, ain't it?" Eve asked as she looked at her mom who nodded with tears streaming down her face.
"Yes-"
"Is it why I'm so powerful?" She asked. Baley nodded and Eve sighed, suddenly feeling nauseous as she sat back in her chair.
"Natasha was hunting one night and he-"
"Don't. Don't finish the rest of that sentence. I already know what comes next and it's making me want to kill him even more. I'll take the night to rest, but then we continue to prepare. I want him dead. I want to redeem my mother's death."
