"So? How was your first day of work?" Alex looked at me while driving us back home.

"I didn't exactly do much work." I giggle. "They just gave me a tour which was lovely, but I am really starting next monday."

"Okay fair enough, but how was it?" He rolls his eyes and smiles.

"It was fantastic! Everybody is so nice there." I smile excitedly. "I even ran in an old friend of ours."

"Who?" He asks.

"Alexa! She's my co-boss." I smile.

"Alexa? As in, Alexa Chung?" He looks at me a bit concerned.

"Yes!" I look him in the eyes. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah ofcourse! I just, I wasn't expecting it."

Alex said.

"I am sorry for bringing her up, I know the breakup was difficult." I look down.

"Bella, look at me." He lifts my chin. "That was a loooong time ago. And, I don't worry about her, I got you." He smiles and kisses my forehead.

I smile.

"I invited her to join us at the pub tonight, to catch up you know? Is that cool with you?" I ask.

"Ofcourse love!" He smiled. "How did she react hearing we are a couple now?" He frowns.

"Well, I didn't..." I look quilty.

"Why not? Are you ashamed of me?" Alex shakes his head in confusion.

"No! God no!" I said quickly. "I just didn't want to break the ice that fast, that's all."

"I was just joking Bella." He smiles. "Just don't wait forever, cause I don't want to act like I am just your friend in front of her."

"Don't worry. I'll tell her tonight." I smile.

"Okay, thank you." He looks me in the eyes.

"No problem handsome." I smile.

"I love you." Alex smiles.

"I love you too." I giggle

"Bella! Let's go!!" Alex shouted as he was standing next to the front door.

"Almost done, just a sec." I said as I was applying some mascara.

"I am ready!" I walked towards Alex and held his hand.

"Let's get wasted tonight!"

Alex and I arrived at the pub, and we quickly spotted the other monkeys sitting at the bar. Katie was also there.

"Hey guys." Alex and I joined them.

They greeted us, and orders some margaritas.

"So, Bella, how was your first day?" Matt asked.

"It was incredible! I have lovely colleges aswell." I smile.

"You should tell them about your boss, love." Alex chuckled as he sipped his margarita.

"Oh yeah! Alexa Chung is my co-boss!" I smile.

Matt smiles.

"Alexa? Wow that was a long time ago since I've seen her." Jamie's eyes widen.

"Well, I invited her to join us here at the pub." I smile. "She can arrive any minute."

"Lovely!" Nick smiles.

"Hey Bella!"

A voice said behind us.

"Alexa! You made it." I got up and hugged her.

"Good to see you guys again." She said to the others.

Alex made a little "hello" hand gesture, and the others greeted her aswell.

Alexa sits down and orders a margarita.

"So you work at Vogue now?" Jamie says.

"Yes, I do! I became head editor about a year ago, after I stopped being a model." She smiled.

"You are so pretty." Katie sighs.

We all laughed.

The evening went very well. Everybody seemed perfectly comfortable with Alexa, knowing that it was weird to see Alex' ex-girlfriend again.

But we all got wasted and had a good time.

It was quite late, and everybody left except me, Alex and Alexa.

We were still having a great time, and we were catching up about life.

Side note: we were all quite tipsy.

"Bella darling, where is your boyfriend?" Alexa smiled.

"Oh please, Brian and I broke up a couple months ago." I rolled my eyes.

"I am so sorry!"

"Don't be, it's waaay better now!" I chuckle

"Ugh, single ladies for the win!" She laughs.

Only if you knew about Alex and I...

"Yeah, so about that.." Alex said.

I quickly interrupt.

"I gotta go to the bathroom." I smile. "Be right back."

Alex gave me a confused look as I was walking towards the bathroom.

After I flushed the toilet and washed my hands, I opened the bathroom door and walked towards the bar, looking at my feet, making sure I wasn't going to fall over.

Tipsy me.

I look back up to the bar and my jaw drops.

I think to myself as I see Alex and Alexa kissing each other next to the bar.

My eyes teared up and I ran away as quick as I could.

This isn't happening.
