"i missed you so much, kenz." johnny says.

"yeah, i know. you've already told me 10 times." i say.

we're in my hotel room, sitting on my bed. lauren and maddie went to get food for us.

"sorry." he says.

"what's been going on since i left toronto?" i ask.

"nothing interesting. school, basically." he says.

"fun." i say sarcastically.

"your life has probably been more interesting." he says.

"not really. just meetings, photo shoots, and talking to you." i say.

"oh, and bye the way, you do look gorgeous today." johnny says.

"no i don't!" i say.

"yes, you do! how come you can't take a compliment?" he asks.

"i don't know." i say.

"just know that every time i compliment you, i'm being serious, okay?" he says.

"okay." i say, smiling.

"i love you." he blurts.

"w-what?" i say.

"i love you, kenzie." johnny says seriously.

"oh." i say, looking down at my hands.

"look, i know that i'm basically a nobody and you know all these famous guys who are much cooler than i am, but you even said that i'm one of the people who won't use you for your fame. if your scared i'm going to be like gayden or whatever his name is, i'm not. i would never cheat on anybody, much less you." he says. (yes i put gayden on purpose)

"i love you too." i say.

"really?" he asks, surprised.

"yes." i say, nodding my head.

"i thought you would tell me that you hated me." he said.

i laugh.

"why would i say that?" i ask.

"i don't know." he says.

"well, i don't hate you." i say.

"so what happens now?" he asks.

"i don't know." i reply.

"you should ask her out!" yells a female voice from the other side of the door.

"maddie?" i say.

"hi!" she says as she and lauren walk into the room.

"you guys heard all that, didn't you." johnny says.

"allll of it." lauren confirms.

"oh my god this is so embarrassing." i mutter.

"can you guys just leave?" johnny asks our siblings.

"fine, but nothing 50 shades of grey-worthy while we're not in here." maddie warns.

"madison!" i yell.

"i know how you hormonal teenagers are today!" she says.

"just leave." i say.

"okay, fine. bye lovebirds!" she says as she and lauren walk out the door.

"so..." i say.

"you may not be ready for this, but will you be my girlfriend?" johnny asks.

"yes!" i say, smiling.

i go in for a hug.

"i love you." he says.

"i love you too." i say.
