he gets in his car and drives away and my mom walks back inside. i chase after her.

that was one of the hardest things i've had to do. with all this and taylor back, it's only be a matter of time before i crack.

i wake up and get ready for school but a part of me was scared that taylor was going to be at school with me.

i get dressed and walk downstairs to say hi to my mom but she just ignores me

y/n: i said i wasn't going to be with mattia. i don't know what else you want me to do

i walk out the door and drive to school.

i meet up with devin and we walk to 1st period together and y'all already know mattia is sitting in front me.

a few minutes into class and someone walks into the room with a bunch of flowers and chocolate.

teacher: y/n it's for you

mattia: you still talking to justin ?

y/n: why wouldn't i be ? (i walk up and grab the flowers)

my eyes widen. they weren't from justin

y/n: yeah all good (i take a seat and whisper) they're from taylor. "white roses were always your favorite flowers ❤️ open the box of chocolate xoxo, T"

i open the box of chocolate and i could smell the weed inside the chocolate. there was another note.

"here's your favorite milk chocolate with a twist. i hope you're enjoying all these gifts i'm sending you. again, see you soon;)"

y/n: i feel sick

devin: what did taylor do to make you so scared ?

it wasn't what taylor did, it was what i did and she's the only who knows.

y/n: uh nothing i'm just on edge because it's been a year that's all. i have to throw away the chocolate before someone figures out there's weed in them.

at lunch i go off campus and throw it in the dumpster. if taylor knew i was here she could be watching me at any time— at any moment. i had to always be cautious.

i walk to my lunch table where devin hollis and felix are sitting and sit down with them

y/n: oh yeah i just got rid of the weed chocolates

feliz: you could've just given them away instead. what a waste

devin: so you don't know why she moved away and why she's back ?

y/n: no i dont

i'm pretty sure they don't believe me. they always know when i'm lying but there's nothing i could do.

i drive home around 6pm and as i pulling up in the driveway i can see that my mom's car isn't there.

i open the door and shut it behind me while still looking at the door
