Adrian passes a glass to Dante before they both settle down on their chairs and quietly sip on their drink. Their peace was short lived as Erika bangs the door open and walks in, she walks straight to the bar and pours herself a drink before banging the glass on the table and sitting.

"Bastards" she grumbles as she glares at the men in front of her who silently keep sipping on their drink not phased by her.

"Hello Erika" Dante greets as he puts his empty glass down.

"You guys play so dirty, why did you not wait till I was here so I could damage someone's dress and face with cake?" she accuses asking them the question.

"I could not stop my eagerness I was itching to do that for the last eighteen years" Dante carelessly shrugs his shoulder and she growls.

"Bastard" she mumbles she pours the drink she brought in Dante's glass.

"So the party was a hit with your daughter?" she asks next to Adrian who smiles.

"Yes, it went without a hitch"

"Of course it would be, after all it was my son's idea to keep everyone at bay so no one would surround her and make her feel suffocated," Dante shouts with a grin.

Adrian chuckles at his tone, he was happy about the event that occurred tonight, his daughter was happy and smiling and that was all he cared. Even if her brothers and sisters along with his own mate wanted to spend some time with Raine, Devilin warned them not to crowd her and let her seek each of them out on her own.

Adrian was not happy about that but the way she stiffened and flew into Devilin's arms as he hugged her had let him know what exactly the boy had meant.

Therefore, everyone had kept themselves away from her, she was still a bit skittish in trusting people and the only one she was trusting right now was her mate.

It was okay with them as long as she was ready to give them all a shot to be in her life. She will come around soon as Devilin had promised and he was happy to wait to see his daughter as her old self who once when she entered the house was a ball full of energy.

Devilin slowly moves his hand up and down in his mate's hair while she was soundly asleep. He should move out of the bed but he could not bring himself to.

Just wanting to be close to her like that before the seriousness of everything comes crashing down on them and they have to face the things he had tried to shut out for the past few weeks for his mate's sake.

The vibration from his phone makes him sigh before he pulls it out, he checks on his mate's once again and when he is satisfied she was in her deep slumber he answers the call.

"Where are you?" Ryan's voice comes through the phone making him shift a bit pulling his mate along with him and wrapping his arms around her tightly.

"Home" he replies as he watches his sleeping beauty.

"Is she with you?"

"Asleep"

"Wow, it's not even an hour since you both left, damn you got some impressive moves eh?" his father's face and voice is seen next making him roll his eyes.

"Shut up Dante" Erika's voice is heard next as she throws something at his head making his father groan.

"You are so disrespectful, how can you talk about Raine in such a way, what they do in privates of their room is none of your concern" she scolds the man before she turns to face Devilin through the video and smiles too sweetly.

"Because I know my Raine, I have given her a proper training she is the best in bed right Dev?" she asks making the man in question cut the line.

The next time his phone rings he requests to not let his father or Erika anywhere near the video or to question on his private matters, making them protest before Adrian shouts at them to behave if they want to be in-laws with him.

That quiets them down immediately.

"Let's begin" Ethan's voice brings the seriousness back to everyone as they all start to talk about the situation they have been trying to keep under control.

"Drag will not allow her to walk out of here" Devilin speaks first as he stares at the phone where he was connected with everyone through the video conference they were having.

"He thinks she is safer here than out of here along with the mandrakes which is true. It is somewhat selfish of him to do so but I think I understand where he is coming from...

It is not just Raine's life in line but Miracle, his mate's as well and we both will be devastated if something happens to our mate...

I understand that this fight will not finish until either Thomas is dead or my mate...

I also know none of us will let Raine be hurt in anyway that is why I refuse to mate with her fully. I know my responsibility and duty as her mate and one of the warriors if I mate her, the genes in me will stop at nothing until she is with my child...

She shouts as she paces back and forth before she points her finger his way, leaving everyone stunned with their mouth gaping open.

"Erm, I was just going to say that I asked Devon to try and remember if the mandrake they saw was Thomas or not when he erased everyone's memories" Devilin clears out for Erika who was clearly mistaken with his words.

"Oh goddamn, for a second I thought you were going to say you asked him to erase your memories from Raine's head, that would had been an epic horror" she sighs in relief before taking her seat back.

"God woman you scared me" Rom laughs awkwardly as he rubs his chest.

"I am not your woman," Erika snaps before she smiles at her mate who was just rubbing his temple so he would not shout at his mate.

"It seems Thomas is not at his hide out, I went to check on him it seems he has moved on and there was no sign of any mandrakes" Erika shrugs her shoulder as she shows some pictures of the place she went to inspect along with the boys.

"Any idea where he could be now" Adrian asks looking around the room, as he was not as active as he was as a council member for quiet a long time as he had blocked everything that was outside of his pack lands while he silently grieved for his daughter.

"Gio and Chris are already on his tracks," Rom informs them quietly.

"Well that means all that remains is for Raine to be back at her job. Dev, do something talk with Drag, we need Raine back in HP...

With the warriors around there, she will be safe and one of us will be always be around her so no need to fret about it...

You need to be back in action as well, you cannot always sit attached to her, you do have duties," Rom reminds her and everyone agrees to it.

"I will talk to Drag in a while when he arrives but I am not forcing Raine go back to HP if she is not ready, hope you understand"

"Yes we do, but sometimes we should let her face her fears instead of hiding her from it" he advices making Devilin nod his head in agreement.

"I understand, see you soon" Devilin speaks as he cuts the line and once again, sitting in an eerie silence with the only sound of his mate's breathing.

"I kept my promise and brought her back but I want you to hear what I have to say" Devilin speaks as he walks towards the dragon who opens his wings and flies away leaving Devilin to follow him as well.

"Miracle will not like it and will follow Raine"

Devilin slowly lands on the ground as he feels a bit light after talking with Drag, as the dragon gave him a new hope. Hope that he needed so much, as he was scared for loosing his mate.
