Jovie's skin felt raw and sore after they had scrubbed her down with the hottest water she had ever felt.
"Put these on," the man ordered as she stood in front of him, trying to cover herself as much as she could.
"Or what?" Jovie challenged him.
"Or we kill one of your friends. That choice is yours," he told her before leaving her to herself again. She didn't know whether he was bluffing or not, but she didn't want to take the chance. She changed into the white clothes before she was brought back into the white room.
She sat cross-legged on the cot as she figured out how to get of the situation she put herself in. She wanted to try to break out but they had the room far too secured to attempt that. Until they let her out, she was stuck. She found herself wondering where Bellamy was and if he was safe. She could only hope that he was in a better position than she was.
She glanced around the room and noticed the camera. She stood to her feet and stared directly at it.
"Hey, assholes, you just gonna let me starve to death?" She shouted at whoever was watching her. "I thought you'd be better at hospitality than this."
A few minutes later a man walked in with a tray of food. Surprisingly it looked better than anything she had ever had. Part of her didn't trust it, but she figured if they wanted to kill her they wouldn't do it by giving her poisoned food. She wanted to smile at how good it was but she didn't want to give them that satisfaction.
Once she was done she laid back on the cot and stared at the ceiling. It was a good thing she knew how to handle boredom as she had spent plenty of time stuck in their place on the Ark. Being in the white room actually made her feel like she was back on the Ark. It made her feel like she was back in solitary confinement. It was too quiet and lonely. It left her alone with her thoughts and that was a dangerous place for her.
It had to have been hours later when Jovie eventually decided she had enough. She began banging on the door. She felt useless just laying there while Bellamy and her friends could be in trouble. She grabbed a stool that was in the corner of the room and threw it at the door. It made a loud bang as it ricocheted off the door. She kicked over the stand which held her empty tray. She was attempting to make as much noise as she possibly could, whether that be to annoy the Mountain Men or to alert someone of her presence, she didn't care. She just wanted to make sure they noticed her.

"Hello!" She screamed at the door. "Is someone gonna come let me out?" She continued banging on the door and eventually it swung open. She almost fell out since she was leaning on it but she caught herself before she could fall into the man that opened the door. "Took you long enough."
"You need to stop," he told her.
"Now why would I do that?" She asked sarcastically.
"Cage said you'd be annoying," he grumbled before grabbing her by the arm.
"Hey, let go of me," she snapped, trying to pull her arm out of his grip.
"Yeah, I'm gonna need help with this one," he said into his walkie talkie. Another man immediately rounded the corner and grabbed Jovie by her other arm.
"Where are you taking me?" She grunted as she thrashed around. She kicked one of them hard which made him drop his grip. She turned on the other one and punched him with her free hand. His grip loosened and she took the chance to rip her arm out and make a run for it. She had no idea where she was going to go but she just had to find where they had her friends. Unfortunately, she didn't get far because when she rounded the corner she slammed into a body and fell to the ground. Just as she was about to get up to run again a needle went into her neck and she fell back down. As her eyes started closing she saw Cage staring down at her.

Jovie groaned as she slowly opened her eyes. She didn't know how long she was out for, but when she finally opened her eyes she realized she was in a new room. Her head was pounding so she went to put a hand up to it, but she was unable to. She looked down to find that her whole body was strapped down as she laid on a bed.
"Hey!" She screamed. "Let me go!" She tried thrashing but the restraints didn't budge. She kept thrashing until her body was too tired to continue. She sighed as she laid her head back. "What did I get myself into?"

"I'm trusting I won't need to inject you again," Cage's voice suddenly filled her ears. She lifted her head again to see him slowly walking towards her.
"What's going on?" Jovie demanded.
"Like I said, I can't help you but you can help me," he said vaguely.
"I can help you? How the hell am I supposed to help you like this?" She asked, referring to being strapped down. A woman in a long coat walked in then.
"Hello, Jovie," she said.
"Who the fuck are you?" She asked.
"I'm Dr. Tsing," the woman said.
"Your people and the people from the Ground have been exposed to such radiation that is in the air that you are able to walk along the Earth," Cage explained. "Our people have not." Jovie then remembered what Clarke had told her about Mount Weather. The Mountain Men were taking their people's blood to help them survive on Earth.
"You're gonna take my blood?" Jovie put two and two together.
"Yes," Dr. Tsing said. "But recently we've figured out a more efficient way."
"And that is?"
"Your bone marrow," she answered. A lump formed in Jovie's throat at the revelation. Not only was she starting to get nervous about what they were going to do to her but she couldn't help but wonder if they had done it to any of her people already.
"You're delusional if you think I'm going to let you do that to me," Jovie said. Cage let out a laugh as he stood next to the blonde.
"And how do you expect you're going to stop us?" Cage pointed out, reminding her that she was restrained. Jovie shut her mouth, suddenly remembering her predicament. "Do it."
Dr. Tsing walked over and pulled Jovie's clothes away until the skin on her hip was exposed.
"Now I recommend you stay still or this is going to hurt a lot more," she said. Jovie closed her eyes as she braced herself for what was going to happen next. She felt weak as she just laid there letting the woman cut across her skin. The sound of a drill made Jovie grit her teeth. It was one of the most horrifying noises that she had ever heard. It became even worse when the drill was suddenly in her hip. She didn't want to scream but the pain wasn't like any other. Tears immediately filled her eyes as she screamed out in agony.
"Please! Stop!" She cried out. "Please." She hated that she was begging but she couldn't help it. She wanted nothing more than for the pain to end. It was hard to tell what was louder: Jovie's screams or the sound of the drill.
It felt like hours but was probably only minutes before the doctor stopped.
"That's enough for today," she told Cage. For today. That meant they were going to do it again. Jovie felt exhausted by the time that the doctor bandaged her side. "Make sure she rests. We'll go again tomorrow."
"Bring her back," Cage spoke into his walkie. The two men from earlier walked in and unstrapped Jovie from the bed. She nearly fell as they pulled her off to stand her up. This time she let them take her back to her room without putting up a fight. Part of her was too tired. She was also almost desperate to get back to her room because it meant she was away from the doctor.
They placed her on her bed before locking her in again. She found herself staring blankly at the white wall as she laid on her side that wasn't drilled into. Her fingers ran across the bandage on her hip.
"Bellamy, where are you?" She whispered.

A Castle in a Teacup
One might say that to anger forces beyond the ken of fragile breakable mortals is a bad idea, others might say that meddling in dark forces with little chance of gain is also a bad idea, they would both be right by on all counts but they forget to mention also how incredibly stupid combining both of those things are. Stupid people don’t last so long on the mystic side of things, normal folks who wander over to the other side have a tendency to do one of two things, either A. figure out that the best thing to do is keep their head down and not draw attention from any entity that refers to humanity as “you mortals” , or B. something horrifying happens to them. As you may have guessed I fell into the second category, mostly because I thought there was a third option. See I though there must be an option C, an option where I got to end up not as some shitty back ally wizard cowering at the chance of discovery, praying that one of my wards or spells wouldn’t be noticed by something that goes bump in the night. No I would be the one who rose above all that. I would never have to be afraid. Well I made a good attempt at it that’s for damn sure, but unfortunately for me it turns out there is not an option C. At least not for me…
