《A Love Surreal》Scene 14 : Closing The Curtains

Singto drove off to his condo unit. Krist and him weren't speaking since they left the vicinity of where the chaos was happening. He was just meekly following his P.
Even when Singto brought Krist to his place, the latter didn't utter a word.
Singto locked the door as soon as they got in. He then flopped his tired body on the couch. Krist, on the other hand, just awkwardly followed his P and slowly sat down on the lazy chair, watching Singto's every move. Singto remained silent, leaning his head on the couch's headrest. Krist is sitting still waiting to be chided by his P. There are a lot of questions in his head.
"You, dork!", Singto looked at him with a sharp gaze, his head is still leaning on the couch.
"Who said you can leave me like that?!", he continued scolding his Nong.
Krist just bowed his head, feeling guilty. He actually wanted to leave without a trace after the interview. He didn't expect that Singto would caught up to him right away. He doesn't have an excuse.
Singto reached out his hand to him, coaxing him to come closer. Krist hesitany stood up then walked over towards Singto's side. He is expecting Singto would smack his head for what he did. But to his surprise, Singto embraced him as soon as he sat beside his P. Singto rested his chin on Krist's shoulder.
"Don't scare me like that. I don't know what I would do without you..", Singto uttered in a gentle voice.
Krist turned his head towards Singto leaning his forehead against him. His chest which felt heavy and was having difficulty breathing has somehow felt lighter. Now he is teary eyed because of his overwhelming happiness. He has proven now that Singto really cared for him.

"I'm sorry.. I did what I think what's best.", he replied, his tears fell down automatically.
Singto retorted, pouting. He cups Krist's face, gazing into his eyes, making sure the latter understands what he meant.
"I told you, don't let me go. I guess since you are really a stubborn turtle, I have to be the one to hold on to you..", Singto then uttered.
Krist finally smiled warmly. He can't revoke this man's words. Once he said it, he would do it. Krist smiling face suddenly turned into a curious one.
"Speaking of which.. What did you do? Why did the press suddenly switched their interest?", Krist asked.
Singto just mysteriously smiled at his Nong. Tousling Krist's hair.
On the first day they arrived at the beach house, he contacted P'Jane.
"P.. Can you come and pick me up here? Krist seemed up to something and I'm not playing with him.", he asked his manager.
"I think it's for the best, Nong Singto. Stay there for a while. You needed rest too, right?", P'Jane replied from the other line.
Singto furrowed his brows, puzzled at how calm his manager is. He have been asking for a leave ever since but the longest 'rest' he had was two days. Now P'Jane is letting him go indefinitely and without prior warning?
"Alright! What is up?", he asked his manager in a serious voice.
"What do you mean?", P'Jane asked back.
Singto frankly spoke.
There was a moment of silence before he heard a sigh.
"Fine.. Truth is.. I think, there will be a scandal soon, involving Krist. It might affect you too so it's better you hide from the mass' eyes for the meantime.", P'Jane answered.
"The reason why Krist wanted to break up your tandem was to actually protect you. That Georgia threatened to involve you in the issue when she found out that you are Krist's weakness.", P'Jane began explaining.

Singto made his manager elaborate what happened. After finding out the truth, he contacted his best friend Tay who he already asked to spy on Georgia since that evening he heard how crafty that woman is. He was very suspicious of Georgia experiencing first hand how she acted in front of Krist and how she acted when Krist wasn't around. He asked Tay to get something which could counter the cunning woman's greed. He patiently waited for the result as he spent time observing and taking care of Krist. That is why he didn't resist staying in the beach house.
He didn't expect that the latter would suddenly leave him in the beach house that day when he was about to leave too and get back to the city to fix everything.
Tay found out through the help of an investigator that Georgia has a trusted friend who happens to be literally her partner-in-crime. Good thing that Georgia's accomplice was a little softy and was already feeling guilty thus he agreed to 'help' clearing Krist's name. With a little persuasion, of course. It will take time to resolve the issue or until the issue dies down but he is ready to face everything for Krist.
Krist nudged him, bugging him to speak.
Singto just laid down on Krist's lap, smiling warmly, relaxing his mind. Krist is still curious but seeing his P close his eyes, he concluded the latter must already be tired. Krist runs his fingers through Singto's hair, feeling warm in his chest.
"All this time, I thought I could never love you more than I've loved you since then. But it turns out, love is immeasurable. It can grow to an extent we can never fathom.", he thought to himself.
He leaned back and rested his head on the couch, letting Singto rest peacefully on his lap.
A hard thing poked from his side which made him fumble to get what it was. It's the remote control of the TV. He unconsciously switched the TV on and the headlines almost blown his mind.
Krist kept switching channels and all he sees are the headlines about Georgia and him.
Singto suddenly spoke, taking the remote control out of his hand, switching the TV off.
"Who said I'm a rebel?", Krist pouted, crossing his arms over his chest.
"Hmm.. Whatever..", Singto shrugged then got up and faced Krist.
Take your shirt off and make yourself comfortable.", he smirked, giving Krist a do over.
Krist grinned, fighting back against Singto's temptatious gaze.
"Oh? I dare you.", the dashing man replied, provoking Krist.
Krist chuckled, teasing his partner.
Singto replied with a poker face.
Krist stood up walking backwards towards the bathroom door, looking at Singto.
he called out to him.
Singto watches him fondly, smiling.
"Hmm..?" he replied, not budging.
"I think I need help for a back rub.", Krist smirked at him, giving him a wink.
Singto looked confused for a moment, his eyes sparkled as his smile widened when he realized what Krist meant. He immediately stood up and rushed towards Krist who suddenly ran inside the bathroom laughing.
They shared the bathtub, the food, the blanket, the night, and probably they will share the rest of their lives together too. Who knows.
Life is uncertain.. But as long as I have you beside me, I will never be afraid..

The End
There are five days left. The End is a miracle 10,000 years in the making that will free all from the confines of the world. The gods will soon be born. There is nothing that can be done about this. Not a webnovel, but a screenplay, submitted as my dissertation for my screenwriting degree. Sort of experimental. I have learned that I dislike writing screenplays, but all the same, I thought I'd post it anyway so it's at least worth something that way.
