《Being Nigerian In A Foreign Country.》Brits vs the English language!

So you'll think that British people would know how to speak English correctly. You know, they are the 'English', inventors of the language and all that . . .
But no. They don't.
Most of them don't know shishi about the language. All they know how to do is speak with their accent. When it comes to the core basis of it, grammar, writing? Nothing.
And they have the guts to be making fun of people with other accents.
Mtcheww! You people should gerrarahere!
I swear, the only thing that is saving them is their accent. Whether the grammar is right or wrong o, the accent will cover it up for them and they can get away with it.
**
"I heard that you was there last night." This is a statement you'll from an English person.
"You was?"
"You was??"
Ahh! That is a grammatical blunder.
It's you were! "I heard that you were there last night"
And then they go on to say, "she weren't there last night."
Imagine o. "You was. She weren't."
Hmm.
And there's another one that vexes me, especially in their writing.
"Oh I could of gone to the market yesterday."
I really don't understand. "Could of!?" Does that make sense?
Could of . . .
Should of. . .
would of. . .
It's could . . .
Would . . .
Should . . .
Okay?
You couldn't OF done something, you know why? Because you can't OF done it.
But I'll tell you what. You could HAVE done it.
Arrghh!!! It does my head in.
Then there's this one. The way they interchangeably use "your" and "you're", "there," "their" and "they're" in writing.
"Thank you for you're patience."
Clearly the apostrophe, the contracted word, should give it away that 'you're' = 'you are'
It should, right?
You people should use your brain biko.
Their use and misuse of punctuation too. Appalling! They'll just write and write on, no capital letters, no punctuation a you anywhere, it'll end up not making any sense.
Ahn ahh!
Hahahahaha. It's what happens when you don't use common comma in a sentence.
And they will start making fun of other people who have different accent to theirs, but really understands the English language.
For real though.
