"Sparky." I knocked. No noise. I opened the door, she was fast asleep. Her hair fell over her pillow and few strands on her cheeks. McKenzie lay on her side, the blankets covering from her hips down. She had on a grey off top that fell off her shoulder. As I walked forward she rolled over. Her flat stomach showed, a scar on the right side.
"Kenzie." I gently shook her arm. She shooed me with her hand. I saw the mutant book lying open, close to the end.
"Wake up, it's training time." McKenzie grumbled some thing about frying me until I was crisp for eating.
"Then I can't show you my abs." She giggled a little.
"I'll just look."
"I know you want to."
"Cocky." She mumbled, then yawned.
"You know it, Sparky." She lifted her upper body with her arms. Her hair falling behind her.
"I'm up, Shakira. Let me get changed." She got up snd tripped over the sheets. I quickly caught her.
"You okay?" She nodded.
"I'm still waking up." She walked to the chair and sat down. Curled up and fell asleep.
"Unbelievable." I chuckled.
"Ok Sparky. You've forced my hand." I picked her up bridal style. My bare skin touching her legs as she was wearing loose turquoise pj's shorts.
"Put me in bed please. Awex." She pronounced the 'l' like a 'w'.
"Sure." I grinned. I headed over to my room. It had the balcony, I put her over. Still holding her.
"Kenzie look down." She sleepily looked down then her eyes shot open. She immediately put her arms around my neck and pulled herself into my body.
"You win, I'll get ready." I chuckled. I took her back. McKenzie was still clinging to me.

"Get ready." She nodded.
"I'll get you back for that, Shakira."
"Can't wait."I grinned. She smiled and closed her door.
"Oh Crap. " Raven popped up behind me.
"You so like her."
"Na-ah." She gave me a look.
"Fine but she won't go for me."
"Why?" Raven asked. "Last time I checked you have abs, you're handsome and seems like every girls type." I nodded.
"Last time I checked McKenzie isn't any girl."
"True." Raven punched my arm.
"What was that for?"
"Don't you dare hurt her." I nodded.
"Ok I'm ready. Raven carry me." McKenzie came out and spread her arms like a child wanting to be picked up. Raven shook her head, laughing.
"I can't pick you up,ask Alex." I gave her a slight glare.
"No way, last time he picked me up he tried to throw me off the balcony." She folded her arms. Raven chuckled and hooked arms with her. They went downstairs.
"Come on Alex." McKenzie called back. I shook my head smiling and caught up. McKenzie rested her head on Ravens shoulder and yawned.
"What time did you go to sleep?" Raven asked.
"Well, I could see the sun. " McKenzie yawned again.
"Crazy women." I smirked.
"Caveman. " She smirked back. McKenzie had no time for food but grabbed a cup of coffee.
"Okay McKenzie, I want you to tell me what is under those boxes." McKenzie stared at the three boxes.
"Apple, small statue and bowl with a coin in it." Charles nodded.
"You seen to have mastered your powers. What can you do with your electricity exactly."
"I can suck power out of things or transfer into it. Shoot bolts of electricity. Shock people." Charles nodded.
We finished a few hours later and we watched the presidents announcement.

Enigma's Multiverse: Rewrite
This novel was rewritten with the following goals in mind: -A 'human' MC, that struggles underneath the weight of his past emotions and slowly grows as a person as he deals with past trauma and regret. A relatable protagonist whose actions are in line with his motivations, who may be amiable or ruthless depending on the stakes presented. (Caucasian male protagonist, set in the modern world with alien 'induction' into the cultivation world.) - Competent antagonists that have their own goals and ambitions, instead of always targeting the MC for plot convenience. - An original cultivation system. - Interesting and well fleshed out enemy archetypes. - Hell mode challenge right off the bat. - Lots of action and fighting with psychological elements. - My vision of what a cultivation novel should be like. This is the rewrite of the original Enigma's Multiverse, the first version reads more like a skeleton or a first draft as it was my very first work and I've come a long way since then. A lot of things from the original will be tweaked/enhanced, so it might just end up as a completely different work. Cover Credits- Instagram @just_anime_art_things
