It's been 4 months now, we visited the beach.
After that day, I and Armaan, have became good friends. Actually, you can say, more than friends.
I daily go to give him lunch or sometimes he would come over. He always came over for dinner.
"Mom," I called her. "Why aren't Armaan's parents home yet?" I asked her.
"What do you mean?"
"I mean, it's been more than 5 months, I returned. They are gone before that. So they should have returned by now." I said her.
She turned around to face me. Looking here and there, she opened her mouth but closed it again. This happened for a minute. Like she was trying to get some answer or she was thinking whether to tell me or not. Then she again turned around and said.
"They planned to go to.... Punjab, after their tour."
She hesitated before saying Punjab.
"Okay. Armaan must be earning good then for them to travel so much."
"Hmm.." She didn't reply properly.
"Armaan might be very supporting and really loving son then." I said but mom wasn't looking at me yet.
"Hmm.. Ridhimaa, now stop talking and concentrate on your work and don't talk about his parents in front of him." She said angrily, but she wasn't looking at me yet.
We were making lunch right now. I wanted to ask her, why? and many more questions, but the anger in her voice made me do otherwise. Should I ask Armaan?
Today he won't be having lunch here. He went on a businesses trip to Gujarat.
I still don't understand, what work he is doing. When I ask him, he smartly doges that question. I'm getting curious day by day. One day I saw him working on something.
As soon as he realized I'm watching him, he shut down his lappy. I was disappointed 1st then I was worried. So I said him.
"Armaan, I know it's none of my businesses, but please never do wrong things, something that you will regret in future, please."
I've even seen people approaching him for help. Help, which they should ask from a cop not him.
