George let out a groan. "It says his phone is out of range," he yelled to Sapnap, who was sitting on the other side of the apartment.
"What do you mean 'it's out of range?'" He yelled back.
George, tired of yelling, walked into the living room where Sapnap was seated. "The reach on the signal between the watch and his phone is fairly short, maybe a block or two."
The two were silent for a few moments as they tried to think of another idea.
"Let's boost the signal," Sapnap said, breaking the silence.
"What?" George asked, confused about what Sapnap had just said.
"If we can boost the signal his phone puts out, we can find his watch!"
At this point, Sapnap was rambling on about signals, radios, inputs, and outputs. And in all honest? George was zoned out. All he cared about is that they now had hope in finding his friend.
When he snapped out of his daze, Sapnap was already taking apart Dream's phone and attaching other wires from a small radio that had been sitting on George's side table.
About 20 minutes later, with a little bit of George's help, Sapnap had attached the radio to the signal receptors on Dream's phone. They immediately turned it on and began to track Dream's phone.
"The signal is weak, so it can't give us an exact location. But at least we have an idea of where he went," Sapnap said excitedly.
George nodded. A few minutes later, the two were walking down the street towards the metro station, tracking his watch the whole way.
About 10 minutes later, they were on a train taking them south. They hopped off at the second stop, still tracking Dream's watch.
"The signal is getting stronger," George muttered, glancing at Dream's phone before looking back up to see where he was walking.

They walked for a few more minutes before Sapnap stuck his hand out, stopping George I his tracks.
"What is it," George asked.
Sapnap's expression was a mix between concern, joy, and confusion. "He's in one of these houses," Sapnap said, glancing at the row of neat little town houses set up in front of them.
George furrowed his brow. "So... was he kidnapped or..." his voice trailed off.
"I'm not entirely sure. But what I do know is that we need to find him."
