《A Bromance to Remember》Silence

A few minutes after the police had left, the reality of the situation hit him. His mother, who he was just beginning to grow close to again, had just died. George felt the tears running down his face as he sat on his living room floor. He didn't bother wiping them away, because he knew that more would just follow.

After what had only felt like a few minutes of crying, George looked at his clock. It was 10:36, meaning he had been sitting there for 4 hours. He thought about going to his room, but he was unmotivated to even get up. So he flopped over, placed his head on his arm, and went to sleep.

Dream woke up and decided he would go ahead and text George about the plugin. Dream had slept in until noon, so it was possible that George would already be awake.

Dream meandered into the kitchen to get some food. He settled for Sapnap's left over Taco Bell. He sat down on the couch and turned on "The Office"(sorry lol that's just my favorite tv show).

Around the time Andy was screaming, "The fire is shooting at us," Dream was awake enough to realize that he hadn't seen Sapnap. Naturally, he padded over to his door and knocked. No response. He cracked the door open, and saw Sapnap passed out. He sighed, then quietly shut the door.

After another two hours of doing nothing, Dream realized that George still hadn't texted him back. He texted him one more time, just to make sure he didn't just miss the notification. He sighed, and decided he would just go on with his day. George was probably busy, or his phone had died, or maybe he was at his mom's house.

George woke up. His hoodie was moist with the tears she had spilled all of last night. He stood up and walked into his bathroom. When he looked in the mirror, he was taken back by the person looking back at him. His hair was greasy and pushed to one side of his head. His eyes were red and poofy, obvious signs that he had been crying.

He went to the kitchen to get some food. All he had was some canned ravioli, so he put that into a bowl and popped it into the microwave. Once it was done, he made his way over to the couch. He piled under a few blankets, sat the bowl of ravioli on his chest, and began to eat. A few bites in, he felt a pain in his stomach, a mix of sadness, guilt, and nausea. Before he knew it, all of the contents of his stomach had been emptied on the blankets around him. He stood up, gathered all of the blankets, and took them over to the washing machine. As soon as he started the load, a wave of exhaustion hit him. So he curled up on the floor once more, and allowed the gentle lull of the washing machine to send him into a restless sleep.
