SilverWing POV
Dear Diary
I don't know what happened after I was shocked by Soundwave. The only thing I remember was Ratchet calling out to me, before blacking out. I have just woken up, but instead of being at the base on the ground unconscious, I was on the Decepticon warship.

“Urg, Where am I?” I asked. I then tried to move but noticed that my arms were locked in a pair of cuffs. I growled when I looked around, and the only thing I saw was darkness.
‘Urg, not this again’ I thought.
I immediately knew I had once again been captured by the Decepticons. I hated this so much. The only good thing was that this time I was only cuffed and not chain to the ceiling. I only hope Megatron doesn’t try to put that horrible necklace around my neck again.
Just then, I heard footsteps outside my cell. The door slid, and Megatron came in. I growled.
“What do you want, Megatron? Are you here to make me your pet again?” I asked. He chuckled.
“No, dear, SilverWing. I’m here because someone wishes to see you” He replied. He then stepped aside, allowing whoever wanted to see me to step forward. I felt my optics wide when I saw Ratchet.
“Ratchet?” I asked.
“SilverWing” He said. He then ran to me and brought me into a hug.
“Ratchet, what’s going on? Why are you here?” I asked.
“They captured me as well, SilverWing” He replied. I then saw him sighed.
“They also threatened me to hurt you and everyone if I didn't help them” He added.
“To do what?” I asked.
“Synthetic Energon” He replied. I felt my optics wide.
“Ratchet, you can’t. They will only use that to their advantage” I said.
“I know, but I can’t allow them to hurt you or anyone else” He said. I nodded.
“I understand, but why are you here?” I asked.
“I told them that I would help, but only if you're by my side so I could see with my own optics that they are not hurting you” He explained. I nodded.

We had been taken to the laboratory. I was sitting not far from where Ratchet was working. He was working with Shockwave. They both worked on the Synthetic Energon, while Knockout helped bring stuff to them. I will also help out whenever they needed a pair of extra servos. If I had the chance, I would free us from this place, but Megatron had put on me that stupid necklace again around my neck to stop me from attacking anyone that was a Decepticon.
"Fetch me the quantum cyber measure" I heard Ratchet ordered Knockout. I chuckled from where I was sitting down.
"Do I look like hired help to you Autobot?" Knockout asked in annoyment.
“I do” I whispered.
"Knockout attends to the needs of our esteemed guests" Shockwave ordered, making me chuckle even more.
"As you command" Knockout said. I let out a small laugh when I saw Knockout’s depressing face. I then saw Shockwave lay down a weird looking piece of metal on the table in front of Ratchet.
"So, we know this cyber matter to be produced by an atypical molecular displacement reaction?" Ratchet asked, checking the piece of metal in front of him.
"Extensive empirical evidence indicates the fundamental instability within the Synthetic formulation to be the cause" Shockwave replied. I looked at them with a ‘wtf’ look on my face. I didn’t have any idea of what they were talking about because I was no science person.
"Double-blind analysis?" Ratchet asked.
"Naturally. The results only confirmed my original hypothesis once the erroneous variable has been corrected for the stabilized synthetic material will bind properly with cyber nucleic acid" Shockwave told Ratchet.
"And produce a stable form of cyber matter. Remarkable" Ratchet replied.
‘Nerds’ I thought. I sighed. I was really tired, just sitting here. I wish I was back at base with the others. I wonder what they could be doing right now. I hope they are trying to find a way to help us out of this hell hole.
"Yes, quite an act of Providence" Shockwave added.

"And to think that had we not let you destroy the beasts none of this would be possible" Knockout said, making me immediately look at him.
“What do you mean, ‘you let us’?” I asked. I saw Knockout look kind of shocked when he realized what he said and immediately tried to correct himself, but I was no dummy. I know what I heard.
"What I meant to say was those specimens you requested earlier aren't going to prepare themselves, are they?" Knockout said. I rolled my optics.
"There is much to do in a little time, doctor, shall we get back to work?" Shockwave asked. I knew he was only trying to get Ratchet away from thinking about what Knockout just said, but I knew Ratchet was no dummy as well. He also heard Knockout.
"Certainly" Ratchet replied but gave Shockwave an ‘I don’t believe you’ look. I finally had enough waiting, so I stood up and walked over to Ratchet and checked if he needed any help.
"Knockout, I require a fresh CNA sample" Shockwave ordered, making Knockout grunt in annoyment. I chuckled.
"Grr, Knockout bring this. Knockout get that" I heard Knockout growled.
"Apparently, fetching is all I'm good for lately. It wasn't that long ago that I used to run this lab. Now I'm everyone gopher" Knockout said, making me chuckle even more and him to get even madder than what he was already.
Just then, we noticed Knockout had accidentally bumped into one of the CNA samples. This caused it to fall on its side and get stuck with the hatch. I then saw Ratchet move closer to it, but I think Knockout heard him because he turned around to look at Ratchet.
“Yes?” Knockout asked.
“T-The Isapro. I-I don’t see one” Ratchet lied. I facepalmed.
“What a surprise?” Knockout sarcastically asked.
Just then, Ratchet began trying to get the sample. I think Knockout heard something because he turned around to look at Ratchet, but Ratchet quickly retreated his servos to not get caught. They stared at each other for a short period of second before Knockout went back, looking for the tool that Ratchet asked. I then saw Ratchet look my way and give me a look that said ‘help’. I sighed before walking towards Knockout to distract him.
“So, Knockout” I called, getting the Decepticon’s attention.
“Yes, doll?” He asked. I forcefully smiled.
‘You owe me big times, Ratchet' I thought.
“How do you keep your paint job looking so damn good?” I asked. I saw Ratchet give an approval look before going back to try to get the sample. I then saw Knockout look at me with a shock expression on his face.
“Well, if you are that interested, I could tell you” He said. I saw a smile on his face. I growled but didn’t allow him to notice.
“Oh, I am” I replied.
“Well, if you instead. I will you, but right after I find this tool” He replied. I felt my optics wide then looked towards Ratchet, seeing him still trying to get the sample.
“Gotcha” I heard Knockout say. I looked at Knockout and saw that he found the tool. I felt my optics were wider than before. I was about to do something but noticed that Ratchet got the sample. I sighed in relief. I then saw Knockout turn around and look at Ratchet.
“Anything else?” Knockout asked. He then gave Ratchet the tool.
“Thank You” Ratchet replied, smiling. I saw Knockout about to leave, but stopped and turned to look at Ratchet again.
“Your Welcome” Knockout said.
He then turned around to look at me. I then felt my optics wide when I remembered what was about to happen.
“So, SilverWing” He called.
“Yes, Knockout?” I asked.
“You said you wanted to know how I keep my paint job fascinating, right?” He asked. I nodded. He smiled. I then looked at Ratchet and gave him a look that said ‘you owe me one’. I saw him give me a look that said ‘sorry’.

The idea came from my love of hero stories, but the lack of relatable heroes. By that i mean there were no, or few heroes that dealt with weight gain. Something I have and am dealing with after leaving the Marine Corps. So Fat Boy Hero was born. Check out the link below to listen to an episode of The Round Table Podcast where I brainstormed the idea with the hosts and special guest Michael underwood. http://www.roundtablepodcast.com/2013/03/workshop-episode-53-guest-host-michael-r-underwood/ This book is a side project and will be updated as time permits. I hope you do not find this too off-putting.
