led us into a fairly large building. The walls inside were chipping and the rooms had large tanks inside. A few people were wandering around but other than that, the place was silent and empty. The girl pointed through an open door, Zemo announcing that Karli was through there.

"Alright." Sam said, walking up to the few stairs that led to the door. Just as he did, John abruptly grabbed Zemo, pinning him against one of the tanks and handcuffed him to it.

"Hey, you got ten minutes." John told Sam. "Then we're doing things my way."

I sat down on the steps, Bucky soon walking over to me and standing just behind me with his body weight leaning against the wall. John sat, holding the shield in one hand on his lap and using his other to rub his eyes, flashing them between the metal on his lap and the door that Sam left through. Lemar simply looked bored and tired, and I don't blame him, I would be to if I was stuck with Walker all the time.

John started pacing after a short while, impatiently looking through the doorway behind Bucky and I. I looked up at him with a short glare before I diverted my gaze back to the cold stone floor.

"No, no, no. This is a bad idea." John murmured, still pacing.

"It hasn't been ten minutes John, just sit tight." Bucky told him, not sounding the tiniest bit entertained by John.

"Don't do that. Don't patronise me." John snapped back, walking to the other side of the room to Bucky and I.

"He knows what he's doing." Bucky said.

John looked as though he was in thought for a moment before he lifted his head again, gripped the shield tighter and started for the door. "I'm going in."

I stood up as he got closer, showing no signs of stopping or turning back. "John, it's been like 4 minutes, okay? Give him time." I tried to tell him but he still didn't stop.

Bucky stepped forward as John reached us, placing his human hand onto John's chest to stop him. Lemar was immediately stood by John's side and i by Bucky's.

John looked at Bucky, seeming as though he was trying to be intimidating. "This is all really easy for you, isn't it? All that serum running through your veins." John looked between the two of us, "your partner needs backup in there." John peered at the doorway, "and do you really want his blood on your hands?"

"Just sit back down, Walker." I instructed, slightly gritting my teeth.

"I don't take orders from you." He spat, looking down at me in disgust.

John then pushed past, making sure to use as much power as he could to shove Bucky and I out of the way.

"Karli Morgenthau, you're under arrest." He announced, walking into the room with Sam and Karli, Lemar still following behind him.

I quickly followed after them, trying to push past Lemar and get to John, Bucky trying the same but it was proving to be no luck for either of us.

"So this is what that was? Tricking me until your backup arrived?" Karli accused Sam.

"We had enough time to talk." John shut Sam down as he went to speak, strutting over to the young girl.

"Nazi." I heard Karli comment as he got closer to her.

She then punched the shield that John held, sending him into Sam and the two of them going launching across the floor. Lemar became distracted, giving Bucky and I a chance to get past him.

Bucky went ahead, whereas I dropped behind to get Sam and make sure he was alright. Once I was sure he was all good, the two of us took off running together to find Karli as well.

We eventually rejoined with Bucky in a dark room made from red bricks, Karli nowhere in sight.

"I lost her." Bucky said as Sam panted, catching his breath.

"This place is a maze." Sam commented, looking around the room.

"Come on." I spoke up, "we have to find her before Walker."

After running around the building for a little while, we came across an open door leading to some steps heading down. Sam was the first to run through, slowly stopping and I came through just after with Bucky right behind. My eyes laid on John Walker who was stood next to smashed vials of super soldier serum and an unconscious Zemo.

"What did we miss?"
