Piper's POV:
I hadn't slept in a week, I was weak, I had been chased across the country by monsters. I had learned the truth just a week ago. I was a demigod. There had always been something different about me and now I knew. My father. Oh gods, my father. As soon as he had told me and given me a wand, from my mother he had said, we had been attacked by monsters. Me, not knowing how to use the wand had fled. I looked back at our house, one last time, and I saw my father, dead. Gone, forever. Now I was in New York City. I wandered in between people, dodging and ducking.
"Excuse me," I said to an elderly man. "Pardon me," I said to a young mother.
I slipped into a dark alleyway to regain my breath. I looked through my backpack. Half a bag of beef jerky, my phone, an empty water bottle, and 5$. It was not enough how would I survive? Suddenly I heard growling from behind me. I slowly turned around. A bull like creature was growling from behind me. I did the logical thing. I screamed and ran for my life. Literally. I bumped into two people. A young teenage couple.
"Sorry! In a little bit of a rush!" I shouted as I ran by. The girl sighed.
"Oh look Percy! It's your best friend!" But the girl wasn't pointing at me. She was pointing at the Minotaur. Wait. Were these two people monsters!? I turned my wand on them.
"What type of monster are you?" I asked, my emerald eyes flashing.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa! We are demigods too!" The boy holds up his hands.
"You are?"
"Yes." I decide to trust them. I need too.
"Fine. CAN YOU HELP ME KILL THIS!!!!!!!!" As soon as I say that something hard hits my head. I crumple to the ground. The last thing I see is the girl standing protectively over me and the boy taking a pen out of his pocket that turns into a sword.

Luffy and the Strawhats, or help Meng Hao con increasingly powerful and influential people, or join Cecil Harvey and his friends on their weird journey to save the world, or make friends with Peter Parker while pretending to not know he was everyone's favorite wall-crawling superhero? Kellan certainly wanted to, and while he pursued college to seek out a career he saw himself enjoying, something felt inexplicably empty about his life. So when a decidely sinister force kidnaps him and the prettiest man he's ever seen saves his life and offers him his wildest dreams, Kellan becomes the shopkeeper of a mysterious, dimension hopping shop, complete with a system that helps him acquire items. abilities, materials, and other cool shit to stock it with, as well as some other neat perks. Will Kellan become a boring overpowered MC, like the kind from web fiction that he reads to sate his boredom? Will he keep his generally kind, sweet nature despite the shit he's gone through and will go through, or will he inexplicably become a scary, violent, irrational arrogant douchebag? Will he use his newfound abilities to explore the multiverse and improve the lives of himself and others, or will he become his own antithesis, a purely mercantile jerk obsessed with money and profit, with no concern for anything that doesn't help or hurt his business? I'll gather ones i'm familiar with, and at the end of every arc, a poll will be held to decide the next location he visits. There will be polls for other purposes, and I might not always go with the poll winner if I feel one of the other options is more fun to read/write about. Most settings he visits will be slightly AU in some way or another, but please remind me if I drift too far from canon unintentionally or characterize a character wrongly. Kellan doesn't look like the old man on the cover, though once he acquires a disguise-type ability he may occasionally use that appearance. The tapir, however, will be a thing, as despite looking like a failed attempt at an elephant, tapirs are cool and this dragon finds them to be kinda cute. A Mildly Odd Reality Breaker
Omar receives an unexpected visitor who comes baring a gift—a "registration ticket"—in the form of a small metal card. The ticket is itself an offer to participate in the game, "Reality Break." Accepting this offer means that Omar will be able to perceive the true nature of reality where there is not one, but two dimensions of time, and in this second dimension history changes (and somewhat "frequently"). Along with this, he will also gain access to the "chronopause"; another reality that is not so much parallel to our own as it is perpendicular, which acts as both a place and the natural boundary between non-sequential points on the timeline. Using the chronopause, Omar will become a chrononaut with the ability to travel through time, and as a player, he will be given a cybernetic interface and his own portable extradimensional storage space. It's a strange conversation, but due to Omar's dismally short attention span, he only consciously hears that last bit about the portable pocket space, and that's only after the physics-defying void is opened in his living room and literally waved in front of his face. Reality is certainly stranger than most people realize, but then again, so is Omar. Thankfully, he responds well to shiny things, and for better or for worse, his chronic inattentiveness is the least of his psychological issues. Omar also has a mild form of "Oppositional Defiant Disorder" which presents itself as an occasional, arbitrary need to disobey others (especially authority figures). However, his oddest psychological issue by far is his "abnormally hyperactive" subconscious mind. Outwardly and consciously, Omar is a lazy, apathetic man-child prone to mildly asinine behavior. Subconsciously, he's some sort of genius capable of extraordinary feats of cognition. Most of the time, Omar is a (technically) functioning adult, but in order to live as such, he must rely entirely upon unusual abilities he's completely unaware of, despite the fact that he uses them regularly. Up until now, his life had merely been ridiculous, but now it was also a game. Note: The narrative style is that of a reliable narrator with a "3rd-person sarcastic" POV. This story takes place in the Reality Breakers/Chronopause universe.
