《Wanna Join a Band? (TodoBakuDeku)》Chapter 26

Guess what Izuku had to do? C'mon, just guess.
He had to break up a fight! Way too go, you're so smart.
He had just gotten out of his five minute shower, knowing he should make it fast for this exact reason. As soon as he had his clothes on, he heard the shouting.
Izuku quickly made his way to the front of the house, pulling the blinds back to peak out at them.
Surprisingly, yet a little unsurprisingly, the one doing the yelling wasn't Katsuki, but Shoto. Well Kirishima was yelling back.
Izuku ran a hand through his damp curls and slipped his shoes on, heading down the stairs to see what was going on. When he walked out, Shoto had Kirishima by the front of his shirt, looking seconds away from throwing a punch. Katsuki was nowhere in sight.
Quickly, Izuku rushed to the two of them, grabbing Shoto's arm before he could land his fist on the redhead's face. "What the hell is going on? Where's Kacchan?" He shouted at them.
Neither answered him, just tried to shake him off and continue the fight.
"Come anywhere near them and I'll bash your god damn face in." Shoto snarled at Kirishima, pushing Izuku behind him, successfully keeping himself between the redhead and his boyfriend.
Izuku's eye brows shot up at the threat. "Whoa, what's going on?" He asked again, hoping for actual answers this time.
Kirishima's hardened glare never left the dual haired man as he finally gave Izuku some insight on the situation. "Todoroki's a little too insecure for this conversation." He said, his tone almost taunting to the taller male.
After hearing his words, Shoto took a step forward, meaning to rip into the redhead, but he was held back by Izuku. "Can I have a less cryptic explanation please?" He asked, clearly annoyed with both boys, but mainly Kirishima.
Shoto finally decided to tell Izuku the real story, after the green haired boy gripped his hand tightly. "Instead of apologizing for basically sexual harassing our boyfriend like a decent human being, Kirishima thought it'd be a good idea to describe in detail how he would take care of you and Kat if he was in my position." He all but growled out, trying to keep his boiling rage under control for the sake of Izuku.
To say that the barista was shocked would be an understatement. Never in a million years would he have guessed that Kirishima of all people would do something like that. "Is that... true?" Izuku asked the redhead, looking more betrayed than anything.

He had actually thought of Kirishima as a good friend, but this put him in a completely new light.
Kirishima just shrugged, finally dragging his eyes away from Shoto and back to Izuku. "So what if it is? I was just letting Todoroki know everything he's doing wrong. If anything, I was helping him out." He said, a sly smirk on his face, shooting Izuku a wink.
Izuku just gaped at him, baffled by the actions. Shoto, on the other hand, decided enough was enough and lunged at the red haired male, determined to at least break his nose.
Kirishima and Shoto were soon in a full on fist fight, throwing and dodging punches until Shoto managed to tackle the other to the ground. He only got a few punches in before the tides turned and he was the one receiving the blows.
They went back and forth as Izuku screamed at them to knock it off. There wasn't much he could do, but despite his better judgement, he decided to try and pry them apart.
Like expected, he was hit in the cross fire. He was thrown back from the impact, but sat up quickly.
"Don't fucking touch him!" Shoto yelled, feeling another rush of adrenalin as he started to punch the redhead mercilessly.
It took Izuku a few seconds to get to him, but he pulled his boyfriend away as soon as he was stable on his feet. "You and Kacchan need to seriously check your anger." Izuku mumbled, but if Shoto heard him, he didn't acknowledge it.
As soon as Shoto realized he had done enough damage, he directed his attention to his boyfriend. "Are you okay? Where'd he land the hit?" He asked worriedly, searching all over Izuku's face and upper body.
"Sho, Sho I'm fine. Are you okay?" Izuku asked right back, taking note of the blood dripping from Shoto's busted lip and nose.
"I'm fine, not the worst I've had to deal with." Shoto answered, brushing his injuries off and reminding Izuku of what he had been told earlier that morning.
"Where's Kacchan?" Izuku asked. Now that the situation had mellowed down, he wanted to know what happened to the blond.
"Right after you left, he got a call from his mom and he needed to go meet her somewhere or something." Shoto halfheartedly explained while wiping the blood from his face. "He figured I could handle this, so he left."

Izuku nodded in understanding, analyzing Shoto's injuries. "Okay, you go inside and I'll help you in a second. I'm gonna call Kaminari and Shinsou to come get him." He said, nodding his head to the groaning redhead on the ground.
"Just leave him." Shoto said coldly, his gaze hardening into a glare as it landed on Kirishima.
Izuku gave him a deadpanned look. "I'm not gonna leave a bleed guy on our front lawn. What would the neighbors think?" He asked, humor sinking into his voice. He was honestly just trying to get Shoto to at least smile.
His wish was granted when the beat up man lightly smiled and placed a kiss on Izuku's forehead. "Fine, but call them from inside, I don't like the thought of you out here with him." He bargained.
Izuku rolled his eyes at the protectiveness, but complied. It had been a very long few days, especially for Shoto, so he just decided to let him have his way.
Once they were safely inside, Izuku pulled out his phone, opting out for texting his purple haired best friend what had happened. As soon as he finished with the text, he pulled up Katsuki's contact and hit call.
It rang twice before Katsuki picked up.
"Deku? What's up?" Katsuki's voice came through from the other end of the line.
"Things escalated to a fist fight, Shoto's got a busted lip and bloody nose, but I don't think it's broken. Kirishima's on the front lawn, probably passed out by now, Sho kind of went ape shit after he hit me on accident. Shinsou and Kaminari are gonna come get him, where they take him, I don't even care to know." He explained all in one breath. "Please come home, Kacchan." Izuku said at the end, his voice breaking as his fear an anxiety finally set in. This was the second time in two days that he had been punched in the face, he wasn't exactly feeling the safest right then.
"I'm on my way, just please don't cry." Katsuki said instantly, sounding terrified at the fact Izuku was close to tears on the phone.
Izuku nodded, shutting his eyes tightly before realizing that Katsuki couldn't see him. "Okay." He whispered softly. "Thank you, Kacchan."
"Hey, of course. Just take care of Shoto until I get back. I should be there in no more than fifteen minutes, okay? And lock the doors." Katsuki instructed, already having turned around. Once he was off the phone with Izuku, he'd send his mom a text to reschedule.
"Already did." Izuku breathed out, looking back at the door, just to make sure.
Shoto walked out of the bathroom, blood cleaned off his face and a cold washrag pressed against his lip. "Is that Katsuki?" He asked Izuku, who nodded. Shoto held his hand out for the phone and Izuku handed it over.
"Hey Kat." Shoto said, sounding relieved to be able to talk to the blond.
"Jesus Christ Shoto, what the fuck happened? Are you okay?" Katsuki asked as soon as he heard the other male's voice.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Kirishima just-" Shoto cut himself off with a sigh. "He decided to push my buttons."
Izuku moved forward and wrapped his arms around Shoto's waist, clinging to the taller male like he'd disappear.
"I'm gonna fucking kill him." Katsuki growled, more to himself, on the other end.
"If Shinsou doesn't beat you to it." Izuku said, looking over at the door as he heard his best friend yelling on the other side.
"-if I find out you fucking touched him, so help me god-"
"Babe, calm down. Let's just get him out of here before Bakugou gets back and decides to kill him and end up in prison."
"Wow, even his best friend cares more about Kat going to jail than him dying." Shoto mused, having heard snippets Kaminari and Shinsou's conversation.
"Fucking good. I knew there was a reason I didn't kick that dumbass out of the band." Katsuki stated, sounding proud that the other blond was taking Shoto and Izuku's side in the whole thing. "Look, I'll be there in five, okay?" He said, knowing that he was distracting the two of them from getting Shoto cleaned up and looked after.
"Okay, please don't speed and get in a car crash." Shoto said, knowing that Katsuki was definitely already speeding.
"I won't get in a car crash."
"Well that's reassuring."
