《Wanna Join a Band? (TodoBakuDeku)》Chapter 24

"Wow... you're dad's an asshole." Izuku whispered in shock.
Katsuki snorted at the first words he had spoke in nearly twenty minutes. "You could say that again."
The blond hadn't gotten popcorn like he had said, instead just settled for giving the other two men breakfast. All three of them had finished awhile ago and Katsuki and Izuku were just listening to Shoto's story.
"Sure," Shoto said with a shrug, not seeming bothered by what his father had done.
"You're way to nonchalant about abuse." Izuku murmured, looking at him strangely.
"No, I just know there's nothing I can do to change the past and I'm over it now, so why play into it and act like I still care about my father and what he did?" Shoto explained, but Izuku still looked at him like he grew two heads.
Katsuki shook his head at the green haired male. "Don't bother, he's weird about his dad." He said as he got up and grabbed the other twos' plates.
"Clearly." Izuku stated. "So now that we're over Shoto's backstory, can we circle back to you two? Are you guys good now?" He asked, look between the two of them in question.
"Yeah, I trust him when he says that nothing happened." Shoto all but whispered, looking pretty embarrassed that he hadn't listened to Katsuki until that morning.
"Great, then let's circle back to you two kissing." Katsuki said, walking back and sitting at the table, changing the subject completely.
Izuku went red at the mention of the kiss, feeling a little flustered. "Oh um..." He said, not sure what to even say.
'Hey, I really, really like you guys, I basically confessed to both of you, except Kacchan wasn't there, so wanna date now?' He didn't think that would go over the best and Katsuki would never stop teasing him about it.
"I assume he wants to join our relationship, at least that was the impression I got last night." Shoto said bluntly, making Izuku's face turn impossibly more red. He ended up justhiding behind his hands and trying to pretend like this wasn't happening.
"Really now? Well, what'd you say Deku? Gonna be our boyfriend or what?" Katsuki asked.
It seemed that both of them were very, very blunt about this topic and poor Izuku was close to having a heart attack.
"That's kind of a lame way to ask someone out." Izuku squeaked out, peaking at the blond through his fingers.
Katsuki sighed as he got to his feet and then kneeled down in front of Izuku, making his eyes go wide. What the hell was the blond doing?!
"Izuku Midoriya, you absolute nerd, will you be our boyfriend?" Katsuki asked, a hint of a smile on his face.
Izuku's jaw dropped as he just stared at the blond, frozen and silent.
"Sometime today, Deku." Katsuki said after a few seconds of the other boy just looking at him.

"How embarrassing would it be if I just said no right now?" Izuku asked, busting out in laughter as soon as Katsuki's face turned to a confused frown.
"Yeah, of course I'll be your guys' boyfriend." He quickly corrected, smiling brightly at the blond.
"I fucking hate you." Katsuki said while releasing a breath, standing up.
"No you don't." Izuku said, still just as happy as a few seconds ago.
The blond scowled at him, but said nothing else.
"Great, so we're all dating now, that's great, really, but can we talk about something real quick?" Shoto cut in, catching the attention of both Katsuki and Izuku.
"Oh, yeah. What's up?" Izuku asked, his face showing his confusion. His head was slightly tilted to the side, reminding both boys, vaguely, of a lost puppy.
"Do we think Kirishima is going to be just a little bit upset at the fact Katsuki's dating two people and neither of them are him?" Shoto asked with a quirked brow at the two.
Izuku placed a hand on his chin as he thought through what Kirishima's reaction would be. "Well I think he'll be upset, sure, they guy he likes is dating two people, yet still won't date him. That's kind of a low blow for anyone. But I don't think he's going to do anything. Last night, he had no clue you guys were together and thought Shoto and I were, which would traditionally leave Kacchan open for taking. You can't really blame the guy for shooting his shot."
"Please never say that again." Katsuki mumbled, but it went unnoticed by Izuku, who continued his rambling.
"I don't think he's the type of person that would make a move on someone that's in a relationship. I doubt he'll even flirt with Kacchan again. Honestly, he'll probably apologize to both of you the next time you see him." Izuku concluded, dropping his hand back to his lap. He looked expectantly between his two boyfriends as he waited for them to say something.
"Okay," Shoto started, drawling the word out. "But what happens when he finds out that Katsuki's polyamorous and thinks if he just keeps trying eventually he'll give him a chance?" He asked, crossing his arms over his chest.
Shoto knew that would never happen, but watching the redhead try would definitely annoy him to no end.
Izuku, once again, let his hand hold his chin as he thought for a few moments. "Kacchan... let's him down gently?..." He trailed off, not having a better idea than Katsuki just rejecting the poor boy.
He couldn't help but feel a little guilty at the thought. He was now dating the blond, and Shoto, and Kirishima had been trying for years apparently. Izuku just walked in for a few weeks, sprinkled in some mental illness and high school angst, and boom, he's dating Katsuki Bakugou.
Izuku definitely felt horrible and had no idea how he'd be able to interact with Kirishima from there on out.

"Katsuki's been doing that, minus the gently, for over a year." Shoto pointed out, sounding tired and annoyed with the redhead's antics.
"Well that was before he knew that he was dating someone." Izuku tried to reason, wanting to have faith in Kirishima and his morals.
"But now he's going to find out that Katsuki's okay with dating more than one person at a time." Shoto responded, shooting down Izuku's argument.
"But isn't that... not how this relationship works? At least not entirely." Izuku asked, having only picked up on a few different aspects of how Shoto and Katsuki's relationship had functioned.
"What'd you mean?" Shoto asked, his brows now knitted together, showing his confusion.
"When we kissed last night, you said that it was okay because you and Kacchan talked about me and stuff, so I assume that you guys don't date other people by yourselves. If you date someone else, the other has to agree and also end up dating them, right?" Izuku asked.
Katsuki shrugged from his chair at the table. "It was never a spoken rule, but that's basically the jist of it." He confirmed.
"Well then Kirishima can't just think he can date Kacchan just because he's poly. First off, Kacchan would have to actually like him for that to even be a thought."
There was a small snort from Katsuki.
"Second, we'd all have to agree to it and want to date him as well." Izuku reasoned. "In short, literally any of us would have to have feelings for him. None of us do, so his pursuit would be fruitless."
"When the fuck did this become an English paper?" Katsuki asked with a raised brow.
"I don't know, those were just the words that popped into my head, okay?" Izuku defended with a small pout as he crossed his arms.
"Hey, I'm not saying anything against it, just wondering." Katsuki explained, a little worried that Izuku was actually upset about his comments.
"Wow, does dating mean you treat me like glass now?" Izuku mused, clearly not affected.
"Like I didn't before." Katsuki said with an eye roll.
Izuku shrugged, "Well I mean high school-"
He was quickly cut off by the blond. "Yeah, yeah, I get it, okay? I was an ass and I'm sorry." Katsuki apologized.
The green haired male sent him a reassuring smile. "I forgave you a long time ago, Kacchan. You seriously don't need to keep apologizing."
Shoto shook his head slightly as he got up, tapping Izuku's shoulder as he went. "Let him, makes him feel better."
Izuku's face scrunched as he tried to think of why. "Just letting him constantly apologize for something he doesn't need to, will make him feel better than just accepting forgiveness?" He asked the dual haired male.
"You both know I'm sitting right here, right?" Katsuki asked with huff.
"He'll keep apologizing to you until he forgives himself, which you can't do much more to help with." Shoto said leaning back against the counter in the kitchen.
"Hey, I don't need to forgive myself!" Katsuki tried to interject, but he was basically ignored. Again.
"I'm kind of the only one that can help, right? I mean, I am the one he bullied so..." Izuku said, trailing off.
Katsuki had taken to picking at the old table, leaning his head on his palm. "Can we go back to Shoto's abusive dad or Izuku's anxiety and depression and just leave my shit for a different day?" He asked himself, expecting to be ignored again.
To his surprise, Izuku froze and stared at him wide eyed. Katsuki immediately thought he did something wrong. "What? What'd I say?" He asked.
"You didn't call me Deku, and it wasn't like a serious situation or something. You just casually called me Izuku. It was... weird." Izuku explained slowly, not being able to find the right word to describe his feelings.
"Am I not allowed to call you by your actual name?..." Katsuki asked just as slowly, not knowing if 'weird' was bad or not.
"Well no, that's not it, it's just Deku is what you've always called me. I mean I still call you Kacchan." Izuku pointed out, messing with his fingers as he kept his eyes on the table in front of him.
"If you like the stupid nickname that much, just tell me." Katsuki teased, watching in amusement as Izuku's face went flush.
"Fine, I like the nickname, okay?" Izuku admitted, glaring that the smug blond.
Shoto decided to voice his own thoughts. "Can I ask why? It literally means useless."
"First off, Kacchan gave it to me,"
"Shit reason, but okay." Katsuki mumbled, being ignored once again.
"Second, it's my alias online. I've had a lot of people in my comments telling me that I'm changing the meaning for them, that it means you can do anything. I guess it's kind of stupid, but I like it." Izuku told them, knowing that he had grown more and more fond of the name over the time he's been online.
"So I'm a little pissed that thousands of people use my nickname for you, but whatever." Katsuki said with a small scowl of annoyance.
"Millions." Shoto casually corrected.
"Do you want to wake up in ice water again?" Katsuki threatened him, his eyes narrowed into slits.
"I'm sorry, what?" Izuku asked with wide eyes, looking between the two.
"He pissed me off, so I dumped ice water on him at like five a.m." Katsuki explained to him with a shrug.
Shoto had a smug smirk on his face as he challenged Katsuki. "But you can't, you won't let Izuku get hit in the cross fire."
"Who said he wouldn't be helping me?"
