Y/N pov:
I woke up to prowl nudging me since she wants to play.
"OK I'm up prowl" I said to her still half asleep.
I get dressed for the day and head down for breakfast. When I get to the kitchen, I see my mother, who is an auror for the ministry of magic, is making breakfast with our house elf Angie.
M/N: "how are you doing y/n?"
I sit at the table and look at mother. "Good so far" I respond. I grab some of f/b and start eating. When I finish I put my dishes in the sink and go to the library to read.
(Your mansion's library)
I sit and read by the fireplace in the library as I have prowl appear next to me from a ball of fire leaving my body. I get up to go in the backyard as I grab a ball near the door. As I toss the ball in the air prowl smacks it back to me as we hit back and forth to each other I notice an owl flying towards the mansion well more towards me. I hold out my arm like how mother taught me and it lands on my metal hand with a letter addressed to me. I got my metal hand from an accident when I was playing with mother's wand when I was 7 on my 7th birthday and it fell out of my left hand and shot an explosive spell that hit my right hand turning it to dust so when my mother saw she made a metal hand and attached it to my arm but it morphed itself to this which shocked my mother since she knew what it meant and she was happy and showed me the family tree mural in the music room and told me that it is the same as the one that the first death bringer or the first right hand of death had.

(Metal right hand)
I've kept it hidden for the now 4 years since my accident. I gave the letter to mother to read as I pet the owl.
M/N: "it's your acceptance letter for hogwarts."
"YES!"
A black owl flies in with a letter for mother.

Warhammer 40,000: Mind over Matter
Set in the Warhammer 40k universe, but accessible to those unfamiliar with the setting. The Imperium of Man has been fighting the Long War for ten thousand years. It is a war fought simultaneously across thousands of stars and against innumerable enemies. On smoke-filled battlefields and in the cold emptiness of the void the military might of the Imperium stands strong in the face of horrifying foes. It is not a war fought to conquer new lands, or to seize the wealth of enemy nations. It is a war fought to hold what they have, or to regain what they have already lost. The world of Nova Iberia is far from that war and supports the Imperium by sending her finest sons to foreign stars to fight and die as elite commandos in the Imperial Guard. A chance discovery on the corpse of one of these commandos has cast doubts around the world's loyalty, and has drawn the attention of the Imperial Inquisition. The seekers of the Alien, the Heretic and the Daemon have descended upon this peaceful world, and they will not leave it intact. Primaris Psyker Amelia Lafayette was a ward of the state, now bound as an acolyte to the Inquisition in recognition of her telepathic gifts. Inexperienced, and browbeaten by her training, she must adapt to her new circumstances or fall. If she can navigate the tangled webs of heresy, and survive life in the Inquisition, then she may find the opportunity to prove herself worthy of greater authority.

Revenant
Everyone dies. Not everyone gets back up again afterward. The Deep Paths are a cursed place, meant for those similarly cursed souls whom the gods themselves denied the sweet release of death. Revenants haunt the underworld, wielding forbidden powers and often consuming those who lack the strength to join them. At least, that's the story that parents teach their kids up on the surface. Reshid can't remember what he might have done to deserve such a fate, but he learns quickly that there is more to undeath than the gods and their faithful preach to the living. Revenants have a unique connection to essential magics that allows them to develop their powers in extremely diverse ways. Wherever there is power, though, there are those seeking to wield it, whether they be governments and gods from above, or mythical elder races from below.
