Eylimi's POV:
--------------------
"So... Which way now, navigator?" Hunter asked. We had just reached this island. We stopped and hovered in the air for a while. I looked around.
"This isn't on the map?" I said to myself as I tried to unfold the huge thing.
"It's probably just not in the place you think it is." He answered for me.
"No really, it's not here." I pointed to where we were, and all around us was supposed to be ocean. Instead if I were to look down we would see a dessert. There aren't many desserts in the middle of the ocean. This one was completely frozen. A dessert of snow laid below us.
"Give me that." Hunter took the map off me. He turned it left and right trying to see if we were looking at it from the wrong direction.
"This is weird." I muttered.
"There must be something wrong with the map." He jumped to conclusions before giving it back to me. I thought to myself for a moment before Cloudjumper dove. He landed in the snow as I slid off. Hunter landed in front of me. "Really? I thought we were looking for the dragons." He pointed out.
"I want to know what this place is first." I stated before walking around Firedrop. It wasn't a hot dessert. Not that a really know the feeling of hot. But wasn't cold either. It was just plain. So plain it was just flat snow for miles. So plain, no wonder why no one lives here. I turned a full 180 degrees to look at my surroundings. Nothing but snow in ever direction but behind me where there was just ocean.
"Well this is boring." Hunter complained.
"Grrrrr..." Both dragons growled quietly.
"Let's just go, there are clearly no dragons here Eylimi." He began to turn around to get on Firedrop but I stopped him.
"No wait." I said quietly. I heard a strange noise. "Did you hear that?" I asked.
"Other than the sound of me leaving? No." He said turning around again. The ground shook ever so slightly. I bent down to have a look. I lifted a pile of snow in my hand. "Come on let's go." Hunter begged.
"GRRRRR!" I heard both dragons growl loudly. I stood up to see where they were looking. Far in the distance I saw this small snow hill. I squinted my eyes to try and block out the sun. The small dot got bigger and bigger.
"What the?" Hunter began as he stood up on his dragon to get a better look. As it got closer I saw it moving. It got closer and closer until I heard... "SANDWRAITHS!" Hunter yelled. I looked closer to see a bunch of the dragons diving in and out of the snow. Their heads are shaped so they can dive through sand and snow like dolphins except not in water. There were well over fifty of them heading this way.

"Go, go, GO!" I yelled as I hopped on Cloudjumper. Both dragons quickly took to the air. I felt a sense of relief before suddenly I was pulled down. "AHHH!" I yelled. I noticed Cloudjumpers tail was caught by one of the dragons. We landed with a thump as I slid off. Quickly without thinking I began running in the direction the dragons were heading, trying to keep up with them so hopefully I don't get run over. I saw Cloudjumper got back into the sky.
"EYLIMI!" I heard from above me. Hunter was trying to get low enough to reach me but the Sandwraiths weren't gonna let that happen. If he got to close they would bring him down with me. I noticed the snow was getting lighter as I ran, meaning judging on how deep it is, I could fall straight through.
"AHH!" I yelled as a Sandwraith dove over me before burying itself in the snow below.
"Grab my hand!" He reached but he still wasn't low enough. I saw the lighter snow ahead and it was becoming harder to run as the snow got thinner. I got deeper and deeper. "JUMP!" He yelled. I tried but I was getting to deep in the snow. Suddenly a Sandwraith jumped out from underneath me, flinging me up into the air.
"AHHH!" I yelled as I was preparing myself for the impact of the ground. I felt a pull before I noticed Firedrop caught me by my boot.
"Got ya!" Hunter smiled down to me. He dropped me as I landed on the back of Cloudjumper.
"Where did they come from." I said sarcastically.
"They aren't usually around this time of year." Hunter stated.
"Yeah, weird."
"We need to go tell your dad, come on." He ordered. I guess I didn't really have a chance to argue this time because before I could say anything he was already flying back.
----time skip----
"Dad!" I called as he walked in front of me.
"Not now Eylimi, I've got to find these dragons." He explained continuing his fast walk. "...also to stay clear of your mother so she doesn't braid my beard." He added.
"What? No, never mind. We think we know where the dragons are going." I tried to explain. He turned around with one lifted brow. As soon as he turned he stopped me from talking when he grabbed my arm.
"What's this?!" He asked kind of shocked, he lifted my sleeve where for the first time I notice my arm is bleeding from a cut. I noticed it must have been from the Sandwraiths.

"Um, about that..." I began.
"What happened?" He asked.
"Well, we went to find where the dragons were going..." I began but was cut off.
"Eylimi! I specifically told you to stay here!" He sighed.
"If you would just let me explain..." I tried. "...we found a snow island and we may or may not have been attacked by Sandwraiths..." I tried to explain quick but was cut off again.
"What? This is why I don't let you leave..." He face palmed himself.
"That's not the point! The Sandwraiths were heading South-West! They never do that, they always migrate North-East. It's like their compass sense has been knocked out of whack." I explained. All dragons have what we call a compass sense. Somehow they always know which way they are going. This is how our air mail works. The terrors always return home, even if lost they know the way back. Sandwraiths always head North-East. Now they are heading South-West which is very strange because all the dragons on the East side of the island fled that way too.
"Eylimi! I don't care about that right now I care about your health! Look what happened!" He pointed to my arm.
"It, it's just a scratch." I placed my hand over the cut.
"I can't believe you disobeyed me." He sighed.
"Look, we will fly back out there and find where they..." I was cut off.
"No! You're not going back out there. I won't allow it." He orders.
"But if we can just." I tried to explain as I took another step through the snow.
"No, we stay on the island. We don't need anymore dragons missing!" He finished before walking away. As he went out of sight I hopped on the back of Cloudjumper.
"Woah, woah, woah, where are you going?" Hunter interrupted as I was about to take off.
"I have to go find the dragons. I want to know where they are going, what's out there!" I stated.
"No, no, no!" He stood in front of my dragon so he couldn't take off.
"I have to go!" I tried to move him out of the way but Hunter wouldn't let me leave.
"Hiccup said not to leave the island. And if you're not sticking to the rule than I am!" He began.
"What are you saying?"
"I'm not letting you leave. You have already gotten hurt and I'm not going to see it happen again." He sighed.
"Hunter, move out of my way." I ordered. As Cloudjumper tried to move around him but he just moved back in front.
"No! I'm not going to see you get hurt again!" He yelled.
"Hunter move!" I ordered again.
"No!" He yelled before scratching under Cloudjumpers chin. He fell to the floor in knocked out sleep. Hunter looked up to me.
"You are supposed to be with me on this!" I slid off to face him.
"I'm not letting you leave." He stood up slightly taller.
"Who's side are you on?!" I yelled.
"The one that stops you from getting hurt." He replied.
"Ugh! You are supposed to be helping me!" I yelled. I looked over to Firedrop. I began making my way over to her. If I couldn't use my dragon then I'll use his.
"Firedrop spiral spin!" I heard from behind me. Suddenly the dragon spun, knocking me over with its tail. I fell in the cold snow.
"AH!" I yelled as I slowly sat up. I landed on my arm. I noticed I couldn't feel my wrist. I looked over to Hunter who noticed he'd hurt me. "How could you." I muttered, feeling betrayed. I got up and began to speed walk away.
"No wait, Eylimi!" He called from behind me. I didn't turn around I just kept walking.
--------------------
Hunter's POV:
--------------------
No! I just wanted to stop her from going so she wouldn't get hurt. Now I hurt her. No, this is bad, this is really bad.
"Eylimi, wait! Please." I called again but she slammed the door of her house shut. What have I done?
"Hunter!" I heard a yell from behind me. I turned around to see the gang heading my way.
"What in Thors name did you do?!" Vika yelled at me.
"What's wrong with you?!" Vidgrip added.
"I thought you were better than that." Mudskip sighed.
"Unbelievable man." Viko added. All of them walked away before I could say a word. What have I done? Everyone hates me. It was a mistake, I should have just let her go. Would have been better for everyone. Why am I so stupid! No one needs me anyway!
"AHHHHH!" I yelled out of anger, punching the air. I fell to my knees in the snow. How could I?

With his apprentice, Elnora, managing most of the daily work around the dungeon, Basil can finally turn his attention towards his personal concerns, such as tackling the shadow of his legendary father that still looms large over him.

This is a story about Louis, a guy that was just trying to get along before he got kidnapped and forced to play cook by a Cartel. He's no Heisenberg, however. Now that he's out of Prison and put a beat down on some of the folks that put him away, he's facing the real pressures of Life as a single-person superpower: Everyone wants to use him for their own purposes. Along the way he's met a few girls, some good, some bad. He's looking to save the world, establish an evil empire, secure a future for the people he considers his, and maybe finally kill that damned superhero that started it all. This is not 'the boys'. Not all superheroes or supervillains are evil, The 'super' world is expanding to include aliens, magic, and the children of ancient deities and legends. This is NOT a superhero genre deconstruction. Many heroes truly are heroes, and they don't all need to be destroyed to make a good story, but it does look into the dark side of superpowers and the unreasonable and often contradictory demands placed on exceptional people. Please note that this book has extremely graphic and sometimes gross fight scenes, heroes as villains, villains as heroes, opinionated and often politically incorrect characters, some graphic sex scenes, dad jokes, dirty jokes, realistic depictions of romance and flirting, bondage and dominance themes, and more than a few cuss words when they are really appropriate.
