《How To Train Your Dragon: The Next Heir》Chapter 15 - Thorsday Thursday

Before I start this chapter off I would like to dedicate it to for the great ideas in this chapter. Trust me, this chapter would have been ten times worse without the ideas. Read on and enjoy.
--------------------
Eylimi's POV:
--------------------
"What am I going to do? I don't know what to do?!" I complained as I walked next to Hunter.
"Oh, I'm sure you'll think of something. You always do." He encouraged.
"Yeah, not this time." I muttered.
"DUCK!" I heard as Hunter pushed me to the ground.
"MINE!" Vika yelled.
"MINE!" Viko yelled back.
"I SAW IT FIRST!" Vidgrip added as the Zippleback and Sandwraith swooped over us. We slowly stood up to see them trying to knock each other off their dragons.
"Come on! Youngest gets first pick!" Speedifist complained, joining in with the fight on his Toxic Nightshade, Bluevenom. He is only eighteen but still seems to hang with us.
"Vika, you know how you love me so much." Dogsbreath smiled, flying over to her on his Monstrous Nightmare, Sharpbite.
"YOU?! No way she loves me!" Mudskip yelled as his Snafflefang crashed into him.
"What's going on up there?" Hunter questioned as we watched all the different dragons crash into each other.
"I don't know?" I answered.
"ZIPPLEBACK DOWN!" I heard Vidgrip yell as the red Zippleback, Sneeze and Yawn came diving down towards us. I heard Vika and Viko scream as I ducked. The Zippleback swooped over us before flying back up towards the sky. I dropped back to the ground with Hunter as the four other dragon swooped above following the Zippleback. We stood back up where I saw Vidgrip snatch something out of Vika's hands.
"Haha! MINE!" He yelled with victory.
"Incoming!" I heard Dogsbreath announce as his Nightmare crashed into Vidgrip. A small stone like thing dropped out of his hands and Hunter caught it.
"What the?" He began as we both looked at the glowing stone. It looked familiar. The lot of them landed in front of us before jumping off their dragons and racing over to me.
"Give it back Hunter! That's my stone of fortune!" Viko yelled.
"I saw it first!" Vika complained as she punched him.
"Stone of fortune?" I thought to myself. I looked back to the stone as I saw it crack in the side. "CHANGEWING EGG!" I yelled as I grabbed it out of Hunters hands and tossed it high in the sky. It exploded as reached its hight and fell back down towards me. I caught the small red creature as it yawned before climbing up on my shoulder and falling asleep. I frowned at the gang as Speedifist slowly crept away.
"Oh no you don't." Hunter grabbed him by the back of the shirt before he could escape.
"Come on man, I'm no that small." He complained. He might have been eighteen but he really was small.
"Who found the egg?" I asked. Speedifist slowly raised his hand. "Then you're the one to look after it." I ordered, taking the dragon off my shoulder and handing it to him. He took it as it yawned again.
"Alright, I'm going to find another stone of fortune. I real one." Dogsbreath smiled as he walked away.
"No way! I am! Anything for my princess." Mudskip said following him.
"Ugh." She complained, turning away. Everyone sighed as they walked away. I heard a noise beside me. I looked down to see a chicken pecking at my shoe. I picked it up and it looked at me.

"How did you get out..." I began as Hunter nudged me. I looked up to see all our livestock scattered around the town. I gasped as I dropped the chicken. I looked to my left to see the gate of the farm broken. The gang fighting over the egg must have broken it.
"Oh, man. Well, this is going to waist our thinking time." Hunter stated, picking up another chicken, about to walk over to fix the gate.
"I GOT IT!" I yelled and he chucked the chicken in the air out of fright.
"Got what?" He asked.
"An idea. For Thorsday Thursday!" I smiled.
"Share the info." He ordered as the chicken he threw in the air slowly flapped back down.
"We have the wild dragons in the arena right?" I checked.
"Yeah." He responded.
"And we need to get the animals back right?" I checked again.
"Yes?.." He replied with a questioning look.
"Well I know a way we can fix both problems!" I smiled before grabbing his hand and dragging him across town.
----time skip----
"What's the idea Eylimi. Get to the point!" Dogsbreath complained.
"Yeah, what is it already?" Speedifist questioned.
"Alright, you guys don't want the classic Thorsday Thursday tradition, then I've got a better game planned." I replied.
"So, what is it?" Vidgrip asked.
"Dragon Fetch!" I smiled.
"Oh thor, it sounds worse than the dragon fights." Mudskip complained.
"Hear me out here." I begged. "Dad wants the wild dragons trained and now I'm just waiting for him to ask me to fix out livestock problem." As I said that I looked at them with a frown. "So, this is the game. You train a wild dragon...." I began but was cut off.
"What? Are you kidding me?" Vika and Viko sighed.
"You guys like explosions. That's what you get when you train a dragon." Hunter told them.
"Oh yeah, awesome! Okay we're all ears." Viko smiled before turning his attention back to me.
"...once you do so you will ride that dragon instead of your own...." I was cut of again.
"But Limp is the best dragon ever." Mudskip sighed. I just ignored him.
"....then there are three pens, hence three teams. Each pen is for a different animal, chickens, yaks and sheep. Each team will round up their type of animal and return ALL of them to the correct pen. The pen filled first wins." I explained.
"But, there are more chickens then yaks so..." Speedifist began but I cut him off.
"...then you better train your dragon fast so you have a head start." I smiled.
"I'm gonna go announce to the town, get them watching so they're into the game." Hunter stated before leaving the back room of the arena.
"All clear?" Checked before Vika spoke up.
"Sounds awesome but I want to add just one thing." She smiled.
----time skip----
"Looks like we have a change for the Thorsday Thursday competition!" I heard dad announce as people crowded the top of the arena. Me and the rest of the gang stood in the middle facing the door about to open with the wild dragons. "I know as much as you people, so we are just gonna have to watch and find out what happens." Dad smiled before Gobber took over.
"Alrighty folks, in team one we have Vidgrip, Speedifist and Viko. In team two it's Eylimi, Dogsbreath and Mudskip. And lastly in team three it's Hunter, Vika and Wartihog!" He announced as we waved. Wartihog surprisingly came to join us unlike the others. He is eighteen as well as Speedifist but very tall. He rides a Wolf-fang called Match. Team one had the race paint blue and green. Team two, red and yellow and team three, orange and purple. That was Vika's 'ingenious' idea. Hunter reached over and took my staff out of my hand.

"Ah, ah, to easy." He put it on the floor in the corner of the arena.
"Damn you." I muttered.
"Lift the gate in, THREE, TWO, ONE!" The crowed yelled as the gate was lifted and six dragons bursted out. A few of them snapped at each other before turning their attention back to us. Each team ran towards them as the crowd cheered.
"AHHHH!" We yelled as we charged. I saw Vidgrip pull a Monstrous Nightmares horns to the ground making him relax. Hunter held his hand out to a Flamehuffer. Vika and Viko were already fighting over the Timberjack. Dogsbreath went straight for the Poisondart and Speedifist went for the gronckle. Mudskip the Grapple Grounder and Wartihog the Thunderdrum. I saw a Sailback but as I went for it, it picked up Viko, training the rider before the rider could train the dragon. I heard a squawk as I turned around to face a purple Nadder.
"Alright big boy!" I bent my knees ready to jump. He flicked his tail up shooting a pile of spines at me. I ducked, sliding under the dragon. It's tail lowered as I grabbed the end of it. Out of shock the dragon flicked it's tail back up as I went up with it, landing on the Nadders back. It turned its head to look at me sitting there. It frowned before jumping. I flung up and fell to land on its face.
I hung onto its head spikes as I was stuck between them and it's nose spike. It eyes narrowed with anger before it rammed me into a wall. I heard the crowd gasp. I pushed against the wall with my feet, still hanging onto the spikes. The Nadder looked at me with shock for a moment before I jumped landing back on its back. It's wing tried to knock me off before I swung upside down around its neck. I quickly scratched under its chin and it fell. I stood up as it slowly opened its eyes from the sudden black out. I hopped on its back and patted him.
"The classic pressure spot. Come on buddy. We've got a game to win." I said as he stood up before flying out of the arena. Most of us finished with the dragons then as the last of us left. I heard a last cheer from the crowd as I hovered over Berk. Team twos pen was for the sheep so I had a lot to fetch. I saw the first one below me. I dove for it but Dogsbreath caught it.
"What? We are on the same team!" I yelled to him as he flew away with the sheep. I saw him pass Vika on her Timberjack holding a Yak.
"See how well I caught this sheep." He gloated, sitting solid on the PoisonDart.
"Oh please." Mudskip passed on the Grapple Grounder holding two sheep. I rolled my eyes as I looked around for a sheep of my own. I saw another near the forest edge. I dove for it as the Nadder picked it up in his claws. I began flying over to the pen where most of the sheep seemed to be already there. We are totally going to win this thing. I put my sheep gently in the middle of the flock before flying back up. I spotted another as I went to grab it. I picked it up as I made my way back to the pen. As I approached I saw the sheep now all gone and the gate opened.
"What?" I questioned to myself.
"Someone opened the gate!" Dogsbreath stated, passing me with a sheep.
"We need to get the sheep back. Now we are forced to start again." Mudskip complained also passing with a sheep.
"You're welcome." Viko smiled above me on his Sailback.
"YOU! You cheat!" I yelled at him.
"I tried to stop him." Hunter said quickly, flying past with his Flamehuffer.
"Fine..." I muttered to myself before turning the Nadder around. We began flying back to the arena. I heard the crowd question why I was back there as I dove through the gate. I grabbed my staff as the Nadder turned upside down. I quickly flew out as the village turned their attention back to the dragon riders with the animals. I saw a bunch of sheep scattered below. Above me was Mudskip and Dogsbreath still fighting over Vika. I shook my staff lightly, getting their dragons attention. Once they were looking at me I pointed to the sheep below. Both dragons shot down to grab them.
"WOAH!" I heard both Dogsbreath and Mudskip say in shock as the dragons dove. Now that that was handled I grabbed a sheep of my own before flying over to the pen. I placed the sheep down gently as my Nadder hovered in the air. I saw the broken gate ahead. I pointed with my staff at the gate to get the Nadders full attention on it. Then I lightly tapped the back of his head and his tail swung up shooting one spine. The spine hit the gate, locking it.
"Yes!" I smiled. Mudskip and Dogsbreath arrived the the last few sheep. They dropped the sheep as they piled on top of each other. Berks sheep are invincible! Or so it seems. I heard a horn blow a few seconds later as Speedifist dumped the last chicken in their pen.
"And the winner is team three!" Dad yelled as the crowd cheered. The must have got bored of watching the show from the arena because they made their way to the village square. "Hunter, Vika and Wartihog!" He continued.
"YEAH!" Hunter yelled with victory.
"Nice one babe." Dogsbreath smiled, flying up to Vika.
"Ugh." She muttered as the Timberjacks wing hit his dragon and he fell off.
"Ahhh!" He yelled as he fell. He landed on the pile of sheep he dropped into our pen.
"BAAA!" Most of them complained. It's a pity we didn't win but at least we didn't come last.
"How did team one loose? They were the ones ahead because they opened our gate." I asked as Hunter flew up next to me.
"Let's just say. They have been taught a lesson." He smiled at me. In other words he did something to them. I looked around for them. They sat in the chicken pen, covered in mud and chicken feathers.
"Haha." I laughed.
"So, where's my prise?" Hunter asked, proud of himself.
"Down there stupid." I pointed down to dad with whatever prise he promised the winner.
"No, my prise for teaching team three a lesson." He corrected. I rolled my eyes. I leaned to the right on the Nadder as he flipped upside down. I quickly kissed Hunter below me before the Nadder flipped back up the right way.
"Now come on show off." I ordered as my Nadder went to land.

Quick announcement:
I'm sorry I haven't updated in a while and the bad news is I won't be updating until next week either. I'm sorry. I have my final exams this week and I've had to study. I still need to so that takes priority. I've also had to redo my room, you know, paint and all the rest so that took time too.
I will definitely update next week though. I promise. And the good news is we are finally going to get into the deep part of this story in the next update so be excited.
Peace out :P

"I'm Screwed" ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This story uses the system derived by Puddles4263 in Randidly Ghosthound. I've incorporates the Path's system into the leveling of this story. Some of the beginning paths will be similar or the same as I thought that the starting paths were very logical on how a system should start. The stories will be completely different as the characters and story arcs will be completely different. Again, thank you Puddles for allowing me to use your system, really appreciate it! I also wanted to thank ProFound Magician. Has a lot of insight into a story development and as his system is based on Ghosthound, I saw a some beginning stage skills that should be thought of in a character just starting out. If you haven't yet read Ghosthound or Genesis System you're in for a real treat when you do! Thank you both I hope my use is seen as an homage in the beginning. Hopefully my story can live up to the system.
