Eylimi's POV:
--------------------
I woke up slowly. The ground shook quickly and then stopped. It shook again, once again stopping. The water dripping on the side of the cave into the small pond stopped. The ponds water made small ripples. Then there was another shake. It gradually got louder and louder, faster and faster.
"Hunter. Hunter get up!" I shook him awake. He sat up next to me with a shocked look on his face. There was another bang. Suddenly there was a loud crash! The dragons sat up but didn't dare move a mussel after that.
I looked to the left where ice fell outside the cave. I gestured to Hunter with my hand to stay there. I slowly got up and walked to the ledge where you could see everything from.
Suddenly there was a loud screech and giant shards of ice began falling from the roof of the sanctuary. That's when I saw it. A giant creature ripped a hole through the ice and invited itself in.
I went to scream but Hunter put his hand over my mouth from behind and slowly backed me away. He let go and put a finger to his lips telling me to keep quite.
The giant creature made the ground shake as he fell into the lake below. I saw water drops rise to the high level I was at from the splash. Hunter dragged me over behind the dragons where the two of them protected us with their wings.
I saw the creature coming our way. Hunter quickly pushed Cloudjumper and Firedrop behind a wall. We both squeezed into the small area with them. Hunter and I could see out of the cave, the creatures giant spikes, glistening in the moonlight.
Suddenly the creature disappeared. I went to stand up but Hunter quickly pulled me back down, covering my mouth. The creatures death threatening yellow eye appeared at the window of the cave, searching it like a hawk.
We kept quiet as it looked around. It turned its eye to us. I kept still as a rock. I didn't even breath. We could see it quite clearly but I begged to Thor it couldn't see us as we blended into the dark shadow on the cave wall.
The giant creature had one last glimpse of the cave before it moved away. Hunter nudged me as he moved his hand away from my mouth. He pointed upwards. I nodded as Cloudjumper gave us a lift. We climbed up and out of the cave.

We climbed to the top of the sanctuary, quietly with the dragons behind us. We stood on one of the tall ice spikes that over looked the frozen ocean around us. The creature excited the ice walled garden and stood on the snow covered ground far below us.
"Eylimi. It's the creature we saw under the water." Hunter whispered. I took a closer look at its tail to notice it was the same boring grey coloured creature that Cloudjumper tried to swim after years ago.
"GRRRROOOOAAAAWWWWW!!!!" It screeched so loud I had to cover my ears. It breathed in heavily and fired. I had to take a closer look to realise frost was escaping its mouth instead of fire. In front of it, grew giant ice spikes that could have killed anything that would have been standing next to it.
I looked down at my feet to see I was standing on the same ice spikes. Could this creature have built this place? The tusked animal shook like a dog before it ran towards the ocean and dived in. It disappeared with a splash.
"Hunter. Is that what I think it is?" I asked him.
"No, I've only heard about it in the book of dragons. There's no way. Those things have been extinct for twenty years." He said.
"The great bewilderbeast." I stated. I looked at him and he looked back with a worried face.
"Let's just head in and see the damage." He said, taking one step at a time.

Vidgrip's POV:
--------------------
"Welcome to the final event of the Thors Day Thursday competition!" Yelled Gobber. "Now, the first event was you had to successfully train a terrible terror. Considering you lot are still here, it means you succeeded. In the second event! You had to fight with both your dragon and the terrible terror against other members of the hooligan tribe and win. Seeing as you're here for the third event clearly you didn't die." He chuckled and the crowd cheered. "And now! For the final event! You lot aged fourteen to seventeen who are still here shall go on a two day quest across the archipelago! Your job, is to find something amazing! The one back with the most amazing thing wins!" He announced as the crowd yelled with glee.
"What's the prize?" Dogsbreath asked.
"Always the one to question aren't you dogsbreath. The prize for the winner shall be!....." He began but then leaned over to Hiccup. "What's the prise again?" He whispered to the chief. Hiccup face palmed himself and whispered back. "The winning prise shall be you're very own yak!" He yelled.

"Good enough for me!" Vika and Viko smiled in unison.
"You have until Saturday. GO!" He yelled as suddenly the horn went. Me, Vika, Viko and Mudskip made a team so we could help each other find something amazing. Our dragons took off and we began flying away from Berk.
"Come on Quicksand! Go faster!" I yelled at the lazy Sandwairth. He growled at me. The twins and Mudskip flew up beside me.
"So? What's the amazing thing we are looking for?" Mudskip asked.
"Is it our uncle Larse?" Vika thought.
"Is it a missing head?" Viko guessed.
"Is it our uncle Larse's missing head?" Vika tried again.
"Larse died?!" Mudskip questioned.
"Would you guys shut up. We are looking for something amazing. I don't know what we are looking for but we are going to fly until we find something amazing." I told them.
"Last year, Baggybum found a thing Hiccup calls a watch from the meathead islands and he won. Do we have to find the same thing?" Mudskip asked.
"No! We are finding something much more amazing! Something no one has ever found! Because I'm Vidgrip Jorgenson! And I never loose!" I pointed out.

Hunter's POV:
--------------------
All the dragons in the sanctuary have fled after the attack of the bewilderbeast yesterday. The place looks a mess and the roof could fall in any minute. I heard a flapping noise while Eylimi was washing Cloudjumper. I turned to walk outside.
"Where you going?" She asked.
"I just heard something. I'll be right back." I told her. I ducked under a stone beam and walked out onto one of the ice spikes. I heard a yell and suddenly three dragons landed in front of me.
"It can't be." The short rider on the Sandwairth commented.
"Unbelievable." The fat one added.
"Uh, uh, uh, Eylimi!" I called to her inside to get some backup. The four riders eyes widened. And their jaws dropped.
"What, what name did you just say?" The short one stuttered.
"Okay I'm here..." Eylimi came out to join me. She took one glimps at them and gulped.
"WE FOUND THEM!" The four riders cheered, throwing their hands in the air.
"Uh?" I was going to question who they were.
"We have been look for you guys for two years! We missed you so much. Wow, how you guys have changed." The fat one said.
"And you're seventeen now! Haha. We thought we wouldn't be able to celebrate for last week!" The girl said to Eylimi, hopping off her Zippleback.
"Alright STOP!" I yelled, shutting them up. "Who the hell are you people?" I asked them.
"You don't remember? It's me, Vidgrip. This is Vika, Viko and Mudskip." The short one answered.
"Woah, what? It's really you guys. No way! I didn't even recognise you. I cheered.
"The tribe is going to be so happy when we bring you back." Mudskip smiled.
"THATS IT! That is our something amazing! We will definitely win this!" Vidgrip smiled.
"Oh, I forgot it was Thors Day Thursday yesterday." I remembered.
"How come you didn't come back?" Viko asked.
"Wait where's Eylimi?" Vika added. I turned around to realise she wasn't there.
"EYLIMI!" I called for her and ran inside. The others followed, their dragons squeezing through the tight gap. I see her sitting on the edge of the lookout. Head in her hands. I walked over to her and stood her up. A tear ran down her cheek and I wiped it away.
"I can't go back." She sobbed.
"Eylimi, we have been out here for two years. I think it's time we went back." I told her.
"Back? Ha! What's left for us there. All that's left for me is a dad who hates me, a town that knows I'm not a worthy chief to be and a law I broke. What's the point." She continued sobbing.
"Your dad doesn't hate you." Vidgrip said.
"He has been grieving for you ever since you left." Mudskip added.
"He doesn't even go to the arena anymore, because that's where you went missing." Vika stated.
"He, he still loves me?" Eylimi asked them.
"Like none of us have ever seen." Vidgrip sighed.
"And if he doesn't, I still do." I said and kissed her on the forehead.
"Oh come on man! How come you got the girl!" Vidgrip complained, chucking his helmet on the floor.
"Haha." Me and Eylimi laughed.
"What are we waiting for then? Let's go!" Mudskip ordered.

The Draw Of The Unknown
Mia Campbell is your average introverted loner. Not exactly satisfied with her life doing pretty much nothing of import, she's also not that willing to break out and make a change. Until, without any preamble or warning, she is bestowed with a cryptic system that both grants her magical powers, and also operates on the logic of a card game. Things begin to escalate from there. **This project is a bit of an experiment! For any given chapter, Mia's 'decklist' will be built by the community, over on our Discord server. If you find this amusing, and want to participate in the discussion, as well as find the complete list of cards, you will be able to find the link to the Discord server at the end of each chapter. Discussion in the comments is also encouraged and included as well. Each chapter and/or scenario will be intentional, but the cards used will be chosen by you guys. And the draws made will be done via actual drawing of cards during the writing process, for bonus author street cred.**
8 142Ocean Attuned - A timeloop LitRPG
In the mids of industrialization, Liana, a girl of almost twelve, awakens her flow and follows her newly awakened calling, the ocean, and thus the path of the last remaining god. With the advent of industry, one's status and the accompanying skills slowly grow to be secondary as people choose more recreational skills and classes. The clear exception are flow bringers. Humans with an increased affinity towards flow and attunements are the only real remnants of the age of gods and mysticism. Terrors on the battlefield, saints in hospitals, saviours during drought, are just some examples of the wonderous abilities they display. As civilization grows less dangerous so does the stress that is often associated with the awakening of the flow reduce and only the real talents remain. Please be aware that this is a first draft at best. Tag/Genre analysis: Action: A theme that will appear in the story at some point (probably 15+ chapters in) Adventure: Yes Fantasy: Yes Magic, Beasts, and other fantastical elements are totally at home here. Tragedy: Life is not always fun. For what is fun when there are no downsides. I don't know how heavily I am going to lean into this genre. I want to but don't expect too much. Loop: Yes, though I will not divulge anything else. Just be aware that there isn't nearly as much looping as in MoL for example. Female Lead: Yes, Liana is female. Dungeon: Yes, there are dungeons. Yes, they will get explored. LitRPG: Yes, read the first chapter if you want an example. Magic: most definitely because who doesn't like calling lighting down from the heavens. (Disclaimer: No actual lightning will be called down from the heavens) Mythos: There are gods. So maybe, I don't know if that is enough to qualify? Progression: yes Slice of Life: There is plot, and the story will mostly be about that plot, but there will also be downtime because there can't always be action. The first "loop" especially the first 20-30 chapters will be heavily SoL. And afterward there will be a lot less. Profanity: The ocean (see title) includes sailors and we all know how the stereotypical sailor is. Gore: Hmmm, some but I will have it be not graphic at all.
8 143The Arcanist Seer
An eye of which sees everything beyond the skies and heavens saw an embodying fate with reek of blood and greed. He who sees the future and yet is restrained by his own shackles of his destiny. An eye that serves a purpose but nothing in exchange for his freedom. Will he remain as a tool of his adversary or escape from his own shackles of fate? This is a story of two old men trying to free from the shackle of their destiny set in a future only to await their impending doom. This is a story of a dead god, and of a storyteller, trying to break from the bonds of the past. And as their stories go, one of them will face the events that unfold in their distant past, as the other one will unveil its mystery predicted by its future. Is it a mistake to challenge fate, after all? *** The world-building is set upon on the universal scale, with dungeon and old-style fantasy. It has a progression that follows with the consistency of a dungeon setting, although it's not what you call a dungeon, but a function of a crystal. There's a lot to take in this novel, but that's all within my intention. I have always enjoyed challenging conventional ideas. The cover is not mine, it's just temporary.
