Eylimi's POV:
--------------------
"Come on, come on, where are you, useless pile of scales." I muttered walking through the forest hoping to find the Stormcutter. He had to be around here somewhere. Where does he go anyway. Typical, some people loose their knife or a mug no not me a manage to loose and entire dra...
"Grrrrawww!" I heard from behind the trees. I slowly made my way threw the leaf litter until I saw him. There he was, the giant beast in front of me. His huge tail wrapped around a log while he munched on a few fish. I slowly got closer to get a better look but a twig snapped. It turned to face me. The huge yellow eyes staring me down.
"Ah, ah, ah, hey, um, Cloudjumper." I stuttered as he got closer. He growled as he got nearer and nearer. I saw the nose like scale move as he smelt me. His eyes widened as I was pushed up against a tree. "Wait, wait what?.... Oh." I said as he tried to get into my pocket. He wanted the dragon nip I brought. Just Incase he was going to kill me. I took it out and he collapsed on his back legs while his head rested on the floor with puppy eyes. I held out my hand while trying to stay as far away as possible.
"Mrrrr?" It purred. The Stormcutter took a sniff and looked up to me for a second. I wondered why it didn't just take it...never mind. The dragon grabbed it out of my hand and swallowed it in a matter of seconds. It looked back to me and tried to see if I had more.
"Ah, ah, ah, no, no, ah, I don't, have any more." I muttered backing away a bit. I was cornered between the dragon and the tree. I quickly reached my arm around the trunk and grabbed the staff. I put it in front of me for protection and suddenly the Stormcutter roared and backed away. I stood up and looked at it as it arched it's back and kept its head down low. It came closer slowly and smelt it. It looked up to me. It was staring right through my eyes. I looked at it kind of shocked. I turned my head and it copied. I tilted it the other way and it did the same. It was like a mirror image.
"Mrrrrrrr." It purred. I reached out my hand to touch him but he growled. I tried again and he took a moment to smell it. Before I knew it he lifted his nose up to my hand and I rubbed it. I felt something shock me. It was like I was hit by a wave. I breathed out heavily for a second and noticed Cloudjumper in front of me. I looked into his eyes and saw my reflection. I looked at myself for a moment. The Stormcutter backed away and I lowered my hand. He drew his attention back to the staff. He nudged it.

"Hu? What's wrong with the....ahhhhhh!" I yelled as I hung on to the staff for life. He picked it up and took to the sky. "Oh! No, no, no, no!" I yelled as he kept flying. "Oh Odins ghost, oh this is it!" I yelled as I looked how high I was. I saw a tree coming my way. "Oh no, oh no, oh no!" I screamed as it got closer. I saw the tall branches coming my way. I'm a goner for sure. I closed my eyes as I went to hit it but suddenly I was flung into the air. "Ahhhhhhh!" I screamed as I saw I was falling. I landed on the back of the Stormcutter. "No saddle." I whispered to myself shocked as I looked for something to hold onto.
"Grrrrmmmm." I heard him giggle for a second. I don't know how but I knew what he was going to do next.
"No! No don't!" I yelled but I was cut short as he spun over a tree. I thought quick but instead of grabbing onto something I ended running around his neck staying upright. He started flying again as I got my balance. He began flying up as I squatted and tried to stay on his back. Surprisingly it worked.
"Grrr." He warned me. He was going to drop. This isn't good. I looked around for a second to notice the scales going down his forehead could be hooked. I grabbed my staff and hooked on the end of it to a scale. Suddenly he dove and gladly my idea worked as I stood up and hung onto it.
"AHAHAA! WOOHOO!" I yelled, glad I now know how to stay on him. He spun as he dropped and I stayed on. He swooped the top of the trees and dove down the cliff hitting the water. It splashed in my face and I swear I fish flew past me. Cloudjumper turned to glide upside down. I hooked the staff around another scale and held myself to him. I reached my hand up and let it skim the water below. I smiled. He flipped back up the right way. "Haha! YEAH!" I yelled with my hands in the air.

Valka's POV:
--------------------
I heard a roar. I know that roar anywhere. I only heard it faintly but I knew exactly who made it. It was Cloudjumper. I knew she found him. Good job Eylimi. I smiled a bright smile. I need to see him. I need to see that big, friendly face again. Come on legs. You can last another week. I tried to stand but fell back into the chair. Your just not used to it. Come on Valka. You gotta move now let go!

I forced myself to stand. Once I got to my feet I felt the weight go to my feet. Wow, it was good to stand again. People say I can't walk. What do they know? We're vikings, it's an occupational hazard. I took a step. I could feel my strength coming back slowly. I took another and I was feeling better every step I took. I slowly made my way to the door. I turned the handle and took a breath.
I let the bright light shine on my face. Haven't been outside in ages. It was good to smell the fresh air again. I might be old but if Gothi is still alive then I can still walk! I slowly made my way down the stairs. It actually felt better standing again. I know after falling into the ocean years ago sprained all my muscles but they must have healed by now. Right?
I stretched my back and looked up to the sky. The bright blue I haven't seen in years. Hiccup and Astrid are probably at the forge. I wouldn't worry about them though, I'm going to see my long lost friend. My legs felt better. If I could walk. Could I run? I walked to the forest where I heard the noise from. I heard it again.
It's true. She did find him. I long to run again. I don't care how many steps I have left. This is worth it. I started walking. Then I picked up speed and got slightly faster each step. Eventually I found myself running.
"Haha! Yes!" I yelled. I reached a forest clearing and stopped. I turned on my heal and looked up. I fell into the grass and looked to the clouds. This is the greatest day I've had in years.
"Grrrrawww!" I heard again. I quickly stood back up and walked towards the noise. I heard it coming from behind a few trees. I walked around them where I saw him. Eylimi was patting his nose.
"Cloudjumper?" I said.
"Rooaaawwrrrgrrawww!" He yelled and ran over to me. He nudged me making me fall back and he started licking me.
"Ew, ew. Haha!" I laughed as he stopped and let me stand up.
"Valka! Your standing?" Eylimi sounded surprised.
"I know right. Isn't it great!" I smiled. "I can run too. It's amazing. I better take a rest though I'm getting some pain in my back." I complained. "I missed you so much old friend." I told Cloudjumper and scratched under his chin.
"I found him like you said I could." Eylimi smiled and hugged me.
"Looks like you trained him too. Just like I new you could. No one else could have done that. Only you because you resemble me the most." She smiled and looked down to me.
"I, I flew! I flew! I can fly!" She laughed excited. "Your staff is amazing! I can fly! Not to mention without a saddle! The only time I have ever flown was with dad on Toothless." She smiled and pat his nose.
"There is more than that." I told her.
"There is?" She sounded excited.
"Well? You want me to teach you or not. Your not going to get anywhere with just a staff and a dragon." I smiled.
"But, wait. Aren't you mad. I mean. I'm technically not aloud to fly until I finish the training." She muttered.
"Oh hush, hush. Your dads stupid rules holding everyone back. It's very unlikely your going to be flying and crash into an untrained dragon." I told her and walked past. The rule he gave was that the students have to finish training for safety reasons. They need to know how to train wild dragons if they ever come by one and that's why they aren't aloud to fly until they know everything. I'm sure Eylimi would be fine though. She trained my Stormcutter!"
"You sure?" She asked me.
"Of course. Just don't tell your father." I said and she giggled. "There is a forest clearing over there. Let me show you some stuff you can't live without doing at least once." I smiled and made my way there with Cloudjumper and her close behind.

Conquest Of Mortem
*NOTE* This novel is a war of attrition. To say anything less is a disservice to its demand. While comparable to other such works as Ulysses or Moby Dick, each sentence in Conquest is an enemy to be tackled. Not in the ways of difficulty but in absurd density that wishes nothing more than to destroy what patience you may have. Do not tackle chapters as you would ordinary chapters in an ordinary book. Tackle each chapter as a book unto itself. A foe to be vanquished, a period of life to leave behind. Seek to be master of this work. Seek to overcome. For in its design is the willpower, and the perseverance, and the strength of someone who sought meaning in struggle. As I discovered these in times of ultimate desperation, so I hope for you to discover these things. This novel is a love letter to your trials. May you overcome them. May you master them. May you become conquerer.- SeedSagaA literary epic for logophiles, philosophers, and poets alike. A journey into zeitgeist, the impact of media on culture, and the endurance of morality against an onslaught of hatred. These vague descriptions do little to compact Conquest's density into a bite-size summary. They do however relate the basest themes found within. A plot, if such can be surmised, is strung thinly across multiple perspectives, weaving together these concepts into a seemingly distorted tapestry of indecipherable events. Inspired by early 20th century modernism, Conquest will challenge the reader, and provide critique on the medium upon which all great stories are derived. Further interpretation is up to you now; an explorer among a sea of words. Venture on and discover what lies ahead, in...CONQUEST OF MORTEM
