"Jayce where the fuck is my shoes my Nike shoes the pink and white ones those are the only ones that I can wear right now they were comfortable! You're always moving shit!" Amber yelled as she stormed out of the closet and came in the bedroom yelling and fussing.

She had been doing this shit all morning and I'm tired of it. She was moody as fuck, at IHOP she embarrassed me like shit yelling at the waitress all because her eggs was touching her grits. She yelled at them when her food got cold. I swear I wanted to get up and leave her ass sitting there.

I told her I was going to the bathroom but I really went to apologize to the waitress and explained that she was pregnant and crazy. Once I told him that he laughed it off. I gave him a big tip when I was paying the bill.

She rushed me to pay the bill, she rushed me in target when I was getting her medicine. She complained that the lines were long and her feet was hurting. After a while I zoned out. I watched her ass go back and forth yelling and throwing shit. I grabbed the remote turning on the tv.

"Don't turn on the fucking tv when I'm fucking talking to you!" She tried to grab the remote but I got up grabbing her and pushing her against the wall.

"Man I'm tired of yo shit! who the fuck you yelling at! Take yo ass in that fucking closet the shoes are in the Nike box on the floor, and the next thing gone be thrown in this hoe is you if you don't calm down!" I yelled as I looked down at her. She looked at me with a look I already knew her ass was horny.

"Gone in that room Patrice," I said calling her by her middle name while looking at her seductively.

"Fuck you," she smirked as she started to walk away I slapped her ass.

"I did that already that's why you pregnant," I laughed as I left the room going downstairs. Ariel was already in the kitchen making a sandwich.

"Sup sis," I said as I opened the fridge grabbing a beer.

"Wassup bro, so do you have any plans for tomorrow?" She asked.

"Nah what's good?" I asked.

"I need your help with something, I really don't want Amber to find out," she said.

"Okay cool,"

"Alright thanks," she took her plate and went upstairs. I plopped down on the couch and turned the tv on.

"Why you come downstairs, you didn't wanna watch

Tv with me," Amber pouted as she sat in my lap.

"You was acting like a damn brat man," I said typing in my Hulu password.

"I'm sorry baby," she giggled as she kissed my cheek.

The doorbell rang and she got up. "It's Erica," she said while looking at the peep hole. She opened the door.

"Uh hey Amber," Erica said the minute I opened the door.

"Hey Erica, how are you,"

"I'm good," she said.

I looked over at the car and saw Harlem he waved at me and I waved back. She motioned for him to come on and he got out with his book bag.

"Mommy Amber!!!" Harlem yelled with excitement.

"Hi Pooh Pooh, I miss you," I said as I hugged and kissed him.

"Me miss you too, Daddy!!!" He yelled when he saw Jayce.

"Wassup lil man?" Jayce smiled as he picked him up.

"Me missed you daddy,"

"I missed you too man,"

"Hey man why don't we go upstairs so mommy and daddy can talk Okay," I said as I grabbed his hand.

"Okay! Can we play with my legos?"

"Yeah come on babe,"

Erica went to the car and grabbed two suit cases. She I must of looked confused because she answered my expression. "These are some more of his clothes, I can't do it Jayceon," she said breaking down crying.

"Hey hey it's okay," I said grabbing her and pulling her into a hug.

"I can't take care of him I can't give him the life he deserves, my moms health is steady declining, me and my brother are coming together to come up with a plan but that means I'll have to move to Michigan and brother made it clear he can't help but take care of one more mouth, so I'm asking you to please take Harlem, raise him to be the young man that I know you'll raise him up to be, he's my baby Jayceon and I know I should of told you about him when he was first born I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me for not telling you," she said as she wiped her eyes.

"Aye I love him that's my lil mans you know I'm gonna take care of him and raise him right, you don't gotta worry about that, and as far as not telling me all is forgiven that's in the past, go ahead and take care of yourself and your moms, you know where we are this address ain't changing, just do me one favor make sure you call him, keep him us updated, you're still his mother and of course he's gonna miss you, and if you wanna visit don't hesitate to ask I'll make sure your flight is taken care of, you blessed me with an amazing gift I could never repay you," I said sincerely.

She broke down and I pulled her in a hug. "Aye you got this, you gotta stay strong, pray about it Nd keep the faith," I said as we pulled apart.

"Look at you, a changed man, this is not the Jayceon I met years ago," she said as we both laughed.

"Yeah I know, I got Amber to thank for that," I said smiling.

"She's a good woman, I want her to help you raise Harlem, If she can change your hood ass I know she can keep him level headed," she said as we both laughed.

"Yeah she will but aye if you need anything let me know and my door is always opened,"

"Thank you Jayce,"

We hugged and I went back in the house. Going up stairs I walked by Harlem's room, I heard Amber talking to him so I stood and listened.

"So its a baby in there!" He said as he pointed to her stomach.

"Yes, sweetie,"

"It my broda or sister?" He asked smiling as he rubbed her stomach.

"I don't know just yet, I have to go back to the doctor real soon and once me and daddy find out I'm going to tell you okay,"

"Okay, me real excited I can't wait to have me a broda or sister," he said excitedly.

"I know sweetheart, I can't wait for them to get here but I want you to know no matter what me and daddy loves you very much, and we need you to be our little helper , your brother or sister is going to need you,"

"Need me to do what, me can do it me promise,"

"You can protect them watch over them and just be the best big brother you can be," she said smiling.

"That mean me be the oldest?" He said smiling.

"Yes you'll be the oldest," I laughed.

"Okay me like that," he smiled . They hugged and she kissed his forehead. Smiling I went to our bedroom. I laid down in the bed, turning Netflix on . I pressed play on some scary movie just as Amber came in the room. She kicked off her house shoes and climbed in bed cuddling up to me.

I wrapped my arms around her waist as she grabbed my beard pulling me down for a long lingering kiss. "I love you Lady bug,"

"I love you too daddy," she said as we kissed one more time before I drifted off to sleep.

Amber -

"Babe can we have game night tonight, my brother just landed in town, him and his wife, and you can call your brother and mom, I can call my mom and Ashley, we can invite Kendrick, Ariel of course I just wanna have fun we do the same stuff every night," I said as I started applying my foundation.

I was sitting at my make up chair in our closet getting ready for work while Jayceon was getting dressed for work. I watched him from my mirror as he put his pants and grabbed his shirt.

"That's cool babe I'm down," he said as he stepped into his boots. He zipped up his pants and put on his shirt. I don't know why but I loved watching Jayceon he was so sexy. He grabbed his SnapBack putting it on along with his hoodie.

He grabbed his keys and came over to where I was kissing my cheek and neck. "Baby I got on make up," I giggled.

"Ion care about that girl," he said as he kissed my lips a few times, grabbing his chin I turned our little pecks into a full blow make out session.

"Boy you better go to work before we start something," I said as he laughed.

"So I can get some money to buy the food and games for tonight?" I asked.

"Yeah you already know my passwords just go to the bank and get it," he said as he kissed my lips again.

After he left I finished getting dressed, I knocked on Harlem's door and he was sitting on his bed typing his shoe.

"Ready to go baby boy," I said as I put my purse on my shoulder.

"Yes," he smiled.

"Come on," we left out and got out our day started. I dropped him off at Jayceon's moms house. She was going to watch after him, she didn't want us putting him in daycare she told me and Jayce to just give her fifty a week and keep her with groceries, so Jayce agreed.

"Gwamma!" Harlem said excitedly the moment mama opened the door.

"There's my handsome grandson," she said as he ran in her arms.

"Here's his snacks mama," I said handing her his book bag.

"Okay sweetheart he's in good hands have a good day at work,"

"Okay I will, bye guys,"

"Bye mama," Harlem said waving which warmed my heart.

"Bye baby," I went back to the car getting in and as I was backing away he was still waving. I waved and drove off.

My first period class was a breeze, followed by my second, and third. I had one more class and then my day would be over. I erased the board and began writing the windbreaker for my next class. As I was writing there was a knock on my door.

"Principal Lewis, good afternoon," I smiled.

"Good afternoon Ms. Riley, I see you're adjusting to your classes well," he smiled.

"Yes I am,"

I couldn't lie the way he was looking at me right now made me feel a little uncomfortable it was like he was scanning my body up and down, almost as if he was mentally checking me out. I stood back keeping my distance. I wasn't trying to draw any attention. Thank God The bell had ranged and the kids began coming in the classroom.

"Alright Ms. Riley let me know if you need anything," he smirked before leaving. I nodded my head but I knew better I wasn't going to ask him for shit.

After my last class I packed up everything, after picking up Harlem we went to Walmart and got games and snacks for tonight. I ordered pizzas, and cleaned up the living room, around 8:00 everybody started coming over. Kendrick brought Treasure, Ariel and her new boyfriend came, My mom, Mark, Tina, Ashley, and some of Jayceon's family came.

"Where Jayce at sis?" Kendrick asked as he grabbed a slice of pizza.

"He should be coming in in a few minutes until he get here when can play a game,"

"Okay cool,"

No soon as we were about to play a game Jayceon came through the door. "Hey son," his mama greeted him.

"Hey mama wassup y'all," he said as he came and kissed my cheek. I grabbed him kissing his lips.

"Ewww," Harlem and Ariel said as they laughed. I shook my head laughing.

"Shut up," Jayceon said as we kept kissing. We were now full blown making out he gripped my waist.

"That's a enough now!" My momma said.

"Okay let that baby come out first before y'all make another one," his momma said as they giggled like school girls. I chuckled as he pecked my lips a few times before we finally stopped kissing he grabbed the bowl of popcorn and plopped on the couch next to me.

"What y'all wanna play first? Family feud or charades?" Kendrick asked.

"Charades!" We all said together.

We started playing charades and mama and Jayceon were cheating together. Even though they were being bad I was happy they were getting along she even called him son and he smiled at me. "Mommy me still hungry," Harlem said as he crawled in my lap.

"What you wanna eat man," I smiled.

"Uh chicken," he said pointing to Ariel's plate.

"Okay come on," I put him in my arms and we went to the kitchen. I fixed him a plate, as he began to eat. "Baby come on we bout to play Family Fued!" Jayceon yelled.

"Yeah come on be on our team sis!" Ashley yelled.

"Okay here I come," I said.

"You're gonna be fine right here baby," I said to Harlem as he ate his chicken,"

"Yes mommy me be okay," she sipped his caprisun and smiled, I think I can get used to this mommy thing.
