Amber and Jayceon's looks for tonight. I swear they would make a cute couple cause they both fine 😩🤤

Amber -

"What's your favorite color?" California asked me as I turned the channel. I had took her with me to the beauty shop and nail salon. We got our hair, nails, and feet down. I got my eyebrows done too. One of the things that was on Jayceon's to do list was get her hair done and get the boys hair cut.

I took them earlier, and afterwards they decided to hang with Kendrick while me and Cali went to chipotle for lunch. We also went to the movies so that she could see The Grinch it was new animated kids movie. I liked it but nothing beats the original movie.

"I like purple, and blue, what about you?" I asked her.

"I like yellow and pink, do you know what's daddy's favorite colors?" She asked me.

"Yes, black and red,"

"His favorite food?"

"Fried chicken,"

She put her fingers to her chin as if she was thinking of more questions. I couldn't help but laugh. "Anymore questions?" I asked her.

"No, I just wanted to know, are you really interested in my daddy?" She asked.

"Yes, I love your daddy," I said back to her.

"Okay because he loves you too, and so does King. I don't want daddy to get hurt because he hasn't talked to anyone since mommy, and I know he wants to be happy and love again, and I want him too too, I wouldn't mind having a second mommy just as long as she really wants to have us," Cali said.

"Come here sweetheart," I said with opened arms. She climbed in my lap looking at me innocently.

"I love your daddy with all my heart and I promise I won't hurt him or you or your brothers, I love you all, and I'm happy every time we're together,"

"Me too, but king is really happy, when mom died it hurt him a lot because he was the closest to mommy so I know how he feels he wants another mom,"

"He asked me to be his mom,"

"He did what did you say?"

"I told him yes,"

"Okay, well I'm happy with the idea too," she smiled. Jayceon walked through the door and Cali's eyes lit up the way mines used to whenever I saw my daddy.

"Hey my favorite ladies he smiled as he gave me and Cali a rose. Cali couldn't stop laughing and smiling.

"Hey baby," I said to him.

"Hey beautiful," he smiles before giving me a peck on the lips.

"So you busy?" He asked me.

"I was just having a chit chat with my daughter," I said to Cali and she smiled brightly.

"Amber took me to get pretty daddy look at my hair my nails," she said showing him.

"You look beautiful baby, did you say thank you?"

"Yes daddy,"

"Okay Princess well Can I steal Amber for a second?"

"Yes,"

I got up and me and Jayceon went downstairs. "Everything Okay baby?" I asked.

"Yeah love thanks for taking Cali out and getting the boys hair cut I had a rough morning," he said shaking his head.

"Is everything okay?" I asked him.

"Yeah I just wanted the run something by you, I Uh, have a lot of paperwork and a lot of things unorganized back at the office, so I was wondering if it would be cool if I hired a secretary?"

"Baby you didnt have to ask me that,"

"Yes I did cause what if it's a woman,"

"That wouldn't bother me babe,"

"I'm just making sure I want you to be comfortable with it, of course she's gonna be around all day and I don't want you thinking nothings going on,"

"Baby I trust you Okay, you don't have to check in with me,"

"Yes I do, listen don't argue with me on this girl, I'm just doing my duty as a man so I won't be in the dog house, I want you to always be in the know, and know what's going on,"

"Okay baby I appreciate you for telling me, but do you want to go with me tonight. Ashley and Anthony want to double date but it's not going to be a traditional double date,"

"What you mean?"

"Dinner and bible steady,"

"I mean it ain't been to church it ages but if that's what you wanna do I'm down,"

"You sure baby because if you don't want too we don't-"

"Baby if this is what you wanna do, we will go,"

"Okay we'll be ready at 7:00," I said

"Okay," he kicked off his shoes and went into the living room and started playing the game.

"Baby can I use your computer so I can I update tonight's homework?" I asked him.

"Yeah go ahead babe," he replied.

I grabbed my briefcase and went to his office where the computer was set up. I typed in his password which was my name of course. I chuckled as I opened up the web browser. I was so shocked when the web opened up to an order from a jewelry store.

It was an order for a French - set halo diamond engagement ring. Looking at the order Jayceon had already paid for it. When I looked at the price I damn near wanted to scream. The ring cost 20,000 dollars, it was gorgeous. I didn't even think Jayceon had that type of money. I quickly exited from the page when I heard him coming.

I nervously started logging into my gmail. "Hey baby Kendrick got a flat tire I gotta go pick him up, but I'll be back in time for tonight, I'm taking Cali, mommas gonna watch the kids," he said to me.

"Oh okay baby," I said nervously.

"Bye Amber," Cali smiled.

"Bye princess," I said to her.

They left and I immediately called my sister Ashley telling her everything.

"What! Are you serious Amber?" Ashley yelled into the phone.

"Yes he purchased an engagement ring, but it was 20,000 dollars. He didn't have to do that,"

"Do what?" She asked.

"Spend all that money, he could of easily gotten something cheap,"

"Amber, listen that man loves you, apparently money doesn't matter, he's getting ready to make things official don't mess it up worrying about a price,"

"Okay okay I won't,"

"Alright I'll see you in a bit,"

"Alright,"

Around 6:00 I started getting ready, I showered, got dressed, did my hair, and make up. It was 6:20 when Jayceon walked in the door. "Sorry Baby Me and Dot got held up at the auto shop he needs a new part for his car," he said as he started stripping out of his clothes and getting into the shower.

"So what's really wrong with his babe?" I asked as I went into the bathroom grabbing my cotton balls.

"His tire was on a flat and then he was having issues with his engine it wouldn't start, so I waited with him until a tow truck came, we went to the auto shop and we waited for what seemed like forever," he replied back.

"Well I hope everything is okay,"

"Yeah he should be straight now good thing he had insurance,"

"Okay baby well I'll be down stairs I'm going to let you finish getting dressed,"

"Okay,"

I went downstairs and sat on the couch. I grabbed the remote flipping through channels until Waiting To Exhale was flashed across the screen. About twenty minutes later, I received a text from Ashley saying they were outside.

"Babe!" I yelled but he was already coming downstairs.

"Baby which tie the red or black?" He asked me.

"Red, their here by the way baby,"I said grabbing my purse.

"Alright I'm ready," he was struggling to tie his tie so I gave him a hand.

"Thank you baby, you look good by the way," he said gripping my waist.

"You look good too handsome," I said before we kissed. After grabbing our jackets and locking the house we got in the car.

Jayceon -

I hadn't stepped foot in a church since I was a kid. I was nervous honestly. Victoria's funeral wasn't even at church but at a funeral home simply because I just didn't want to be around any hypocrites telling how I should be living my life when they probably ain't living theirs right. The only reason I was doing this was because of Amber.

Amber was a good woman and she had good intentions. I noticed she was a very religious person she put a bible and a cross in her car. She had bible apps on her phone and iPad and she was always posting scriptures or watching Joel Osteen. I wasn't as religious, I had my own mixed emotions about God, and The Bible.

A few days ago, Amber had posted a picture the other day on Instagram it said relationships were about three people, The couple and God.

If God wasn't in the middle then things wouldn't work out. To be honest, I didn't know if I really believed in God, I did before. I lost my faith, when Vicky died. I mean what kind of God would allow three innocent kids to be motherless? But then I thought long about it.

Momma said God had a reason and a plan for everything he did. It took me a while to figure it out but, this is what I had been thinking lately.

Yes, Victoria died. It was a tragedy, a lost, and me and the kids were heartbroken, but I figured, Amber was in his plan. She was sent to me from God to heal our hearts, to heal me from my pain, to heal the kids.

Everyday she was making connections and getting close to them. She got King to talk and be more active around the house, and she got Harlem really focusing more on school and junior high instead of video games. Cali however I haven't really seen much but I know she loves Amber, she's always helping King plan our dates, I know Amber was God sent.

That's why I'm ready to ask her to be my wife. As she looked out the window, I admired her. She was so beautiful, she was definitely my better half, I could honestly say we complemented each other.

Whenever we stepped out all eyes were on us. She made me want to do better and step my game up. She was everything that any man could dream of and I knew I had to make the right move soon before it was too late.

With King, and Mamas help, I bought Amber an engagement ring the other, one that I knew was fitting for a queen. My Queen. Honestly King was the one who spotted the ring, and the more I looked at it, the more I could see Amber wearing it.

"You okay baby?" Amber asked as she caressed my cheek and held my hand.

"Yeah I'm good baby why you ask?" I smiled.

"You just look deep in thought, if you don't wanna go to church babe we can just go to dinner an-"

"Nah baby I'm cool, we good," I said to her.

"You sure?"

"Yeah baby I'm good I promise,"

"Okay," she smiled as we held hands and continued to look out our windows.

Dinner was pretty good, Ashley and Amber mostly talked while me and Anthony was in our phones. When we finished eating, we paid for the food and headed out to the church.

Once we got there, there wasn't many cars in the parking lot so we were able to park in a good spot. We got out and went inside. They were all singing a praise and worship song. We sat close to the front. I wrapped my arm around Amber and sat watching intensively.

After singing a few songs, they introduced the pastor and he jumped right into the lesson. I don't know if somebody was playing tricks on me but his topic was about couples and keeping God in their relationships.

As he talked I watched as Amber jotted down some notes, with my name at the top of the paper. I could barely see, so I looked over it when she wasn't paying attention.

How to have a closer relationship with Jayceon -

I smiled, seeing that made me feel good, and it confirmed everything I believed, Knowing that I had a good woman by my side really put me in good spirits. After bible study we went out for ice cream, and then Ashley dropped us off back at the house.

Me and Amber showered together, and then we got in bed. We did something that we didn't usually do. We prayed together, and we discussed some of the things the pastor talked about.

"Did you really feel okay going to church tonight?" She asked me as she ran her fingers through my hair.

"Yeah baby I enjoyed it,"

"Yeah, what did you enjoy most?"

"His Jokes he was hilarious, but I also enjoyed how he tried to connect with us and not made it boring,"

"Yeah, that's My Pastor," she laughed.

"I do agree with what he said though about us making sure we stay close and not letting other people tare down what we build, I won't disrespect and I won't let anybody else disrespect you and if somebody does let know cause they gone have to answer to me,"

"Okay daddy," I said as we laughed.

"I love you so much baby you are such a good man, the man that I've been asking God to send me," she said as he ran her fingers through my beard.

"And you're the woman I've been asking for," I said rubbing her thighs. She got on top of me and we kissed while she rubbed my chest.

"So sexy baby, you done woke our son up," I smirked.

"Harlem nor King is in the house so I don't know what son you're referring too," she chuckled.

"Stop playing with me you know exactly what son I'm talm bout," I said as we laughed.

"He better go to sleep cause momma is tired," I kissed and nibbled on her ear and she laughed.

"Look at me bae," I said to her. She turned to look at me in my eyes.

"Baby a few months ago, hell a few years ago I was heartbroken the love of my life had died and I didn't know why God had taken her from me, every time I looked at one of the kids, mostly Cali cause she resembled her the most, it broke me down. I wanted to run away from everything, everyone, I just wanted to smoke weed, and die too cause I couldn't imagine life without Vicky. I got awake up call and Kendrick had been trying to hook me up with several of his female friends but trying to hold on to Vicky I didn't pursue nobody. Then when Harlem has issues with his homework and Kendrick told me about you, and then when you walked through the door and I laid on you, I said fuck I need her by my side. Like we compliment each other's style, See all the jealousy from niggas when I have you by my side and I know them bitches be hating, but regardless baby you care into my life and turned all that sadness that dark cloud into happiness and sunshine, and I swear I don't wanna loose you baby, when that time come You gone be Mrs. Taylor and I'm going to let the whole wide world know each and everyday how happy I am to have you Amber,"

She had tears running down her eyes, I chuckled. "Why you crying baby?"

"Baby because that was the sweetest thing ever and I don't really know how to respond but I will tell you I love and I'll hold you down forever, I got you and I can't wait to be Mrs. Taylor," she said before we kissed.

Tired of waiting any longer I turned the light out, as we kissed and rumbled through the sheets, I felt a heavy weight leave my shoulders. As we made love I confessed my love to Amber over and over again until we both reached our peek. After we were done we held each other closely before drifting off to sleep
