My dark hair had fallen loosely around my shoulders, a small woven flower headband was resting on my head. I winced as the woman, hired by Zion, covered the bruises on my face with thick make up. She slid lipstick over my split lip and applied eyeshadow and mascara.

I stood once she was done and slipped into my dress. I hadn't chose it. The dress split up the leg and fell perfectly over my bump. The sleeves went just past my elbows, covering dark smudges on my skin.

I'd hardly slept last night. The nightmares didn't go. I dreamt of how he'd treat me. I dreamt of being stuck with him forever. And when I woke up, the nightmares only continued.

I climbed into my slip-on shoes, unable to walk in heels due to the weakness of my ankles.

I looked up when Dominique walked in, he was wearing a black suit that followed his body perfectly, "Wow." He said, running his eyes along my body. "Ya look beautiful."

"I don't feel it." I muttered, looking down.

"Don' worry, you'll feel better soon. Now cmon, I'm walking you down the isle."

"Don't let me fall, okay?"

"I got ya baby girl." He held my arm gently and walked me out. He escorted me to the car and got inside with me, I lay my head on his shoulder and closed my eyes.

"Do you miss him?" Dominique asked.

"Do I miss who?"

"Jayceon."

"Miss him?" I felt the tears brink in my eyes. "Do I miss him? Fucking hell yes I miss him. I regret leaving. I regret everything I did to him. I miss him so much. I don't want to be with Zion. I want Jay. I know that he doesn't want me though."

"You'd be surprised girl." Dominique rubbed my arm and helped me out of the car. I held his arm as we walked inside. I expected hundreds and thousands of kingpins and gang lords. But all I saw was my father's gang, and Zion's.

Dominique held me firmly as we walked down the isle, his eyes lingering around the church. I tried not to look so upset when Zion took me off of Dominique.

"I, Zion Michaelis take you Natasha Romelle to be my wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for richer, for poorer. To love and to cherish, according to God's holy law, and in the presence of God I make this vow, till death do us part, in sickness and in health, for better, for worse." I tried to stay focused on Zion as he said our vows, but my mind swirled with unanswered questions.

I slowly said my vows, my voice wavering. I felt daggers being thrown at me from my father's eyes.

"Does anybody know of any reason that these two should not be joined together in holy matrimony?" The priest said, his eyes casting across the room.

I felt a tear roll down my cheek when the room stayed silent.

"I do," I turned, hearing that voice. "Sorry I'm late, I had abit of trouble tying my tie." Jayceon smirked.
