do you lay in bed with me on

can you go a single day without thinking of me, i can't
do you overthink the simple words
i say, that's what i do
it sucks though because
you probably don't care at all
i think could you throw away our friendship and it wouldn't
matter to you
you could erase me from your mind and never feel like something's missing
i'm not as important to you as
you are to me
but then you do something that
gives me hope
you start to pay attention to me
you start inside jokes with me
you twist my mind into confusion because you tease me like you love me
so please
stop giving me false hope and please
