It was a bright Monday morning where the sky was clear blue for the first time in a while and Yuri had just parked her car by the school.

"Are you sure your ok? You can always ask for more time off..." Said Yuri as she turned her special girl right next to her and helled Natsukis hand ever so gently. Natsuki nodded.

"I'm fine Yuri. I'll kick anyone who tries to ruin my day." Said Natsuki proudly. Yuris grip on Natsukis hand tightened, a small silence falling between the two as yuris head faced down.

"Hey Yuri..." Said Natsuki, making Yuri lean up to look at her and when she did Natsuki gently pecked her on the lips.

"I'll be fine, if anything happens I know where to run." Smiled Natsuki.

Yuri blushed and nodded before the two of them got out of the car and began their long day at school.

Between classes as Natsuki maneuvered her way through the student filled halls she found herself fearing people's gazes and attention, afraid the same people who put her in the hospital were right behind her and that at any given moment something bad could happen.

She practically deflated into her desk when she got to her classes only to be bombarded by worried classmates packed with questions about what happened and why she was away for so long. Natsuki quickly discovered that the boardem school braught upon people gave birth to the craziest of rumours about how she ran off with a boy from a school two towns over since he apparently dated a pink haired girl.

At long last the end of the day came and Natsuki impatiently tapped her foot on the floor as the seconds moved by too slowly for her excited heart.

'Come on mother fucking time! Move faster!! I've got a date with a bookworm!!!' Thought Natsuki as she began biting her lower lip out of frustration.

Finally the bell rang and Natsuki tried to dash out of the door but there was already a tsunami of students running though the halls, completely blocking Natsukis way to the club room.

"Oh for fucks sake!!!!" Yelled Natsuki, grabbing her things as she made her way to the window and opened it, ignoring her classmates completely as she jumped out onto the nearby tree and climbed down to a lower branch just opposite the window to the literature club.

Once she looked up after settling on the branch she made eye contact with a beautiful long purple haired girl who was looking at Natsuki with wide eyes and a gawk.

Natsuki only smiled in pure joy, finally able to see Yuri, but before she could barely even blink the window was slammed open and Natsuki was pulled right in through the window into Yuris tight embrace.

"NATSUKI WHAT IN THE BLUE BLAZES WERE YOU DOING OUT THERE?!???" Shouted Yuri in shock as she helled Natsuki by the shoulders and looked her right in the eye.

"I WAS JUST TAKING A SHORTCUT!!!" Shouted Natsuki, trying to defend herself.

"OUT THE WINDOW?!??" Said Yuri still in shock and disbelief.

"Y-Yeah..?" Said Natsuki understanding she was in big trouble.

"Natsuki what if you fell and got hurt again?! You just got out of the hospital!" Said Yuri as she embraced Natsuki in a tight hug.

"I-I know...I'm sorry Yuri...I just didn't wanna wait to see you any longer...today's been rough..." Sighed Natsuki as she hugged Yuri back.

"Did anyone bother you?" Asked Yuri, Natsuki shook her head.

"No, but it felt like a million eyes were on me! That shit made me nervous as heck!!" Shivered Natsuki at the memory.

"Can we just...forget about this and share poems..?" Asked Natsuki slightly tightening her grip around Yuri.

"Ok...but only if you promise to never do reckless stuff like that again!" Ordered Yuri as she pulled away from the hug and sternly looked at Natsuki.

"It's a deal!" Smiled Natsuki as she took a seat right next to Yuri.

A few minutes went bye and Monika arrived at the clubroom, calmly walking to the teachers desk before placing her belongings down.

"I see you ladies are early today!" Smed Monika.

"Yeah, kinda had nothin' better to do." Shrugged Natsuki before going back to reading wuth Yuri.

"Yep you've really come back Natsuki." Said Monika as she rolled her eyes and decided to do some work while she waited for Sayori to arrive.

Apart from Sayori showing up late and MC not showing up at all, nothing out of the ordinary happened for the rest of the day. They all enjoyed their club time and helped each other write poems.

Things went smoothly throughout the week.

Natsuki stopped being afraid of someone attacking her when she kicked a boy inbetween his legs after making a sparky comment about her being hospitalised and remembered she was an unstoppable force of nature. Yuri still had to get used to Natsuki being around her so often, after all, her cheeks did start hurting from all the smiling after watching Natsuki push past everyone and everything in the halls just to be with Yuri a few minutes between lessons.

However,

Monika noticed Sayori was acting a little...distant...

Throughout the week, not only was Sayori avoiding Monika during school, but she kept of turning up to the literature club late. It got worse as one week ended and knew one began.

\AT THE CLUB/

Monika fidgeted at her desk, looking at the clock every waking second waiting for sayori while Natsuki and Yuri were arguing in the wardrobe about which Jostar was the best.

A few minutes went bye and Sayori hadn't come yet, so Monika sent her a message.

Hey Sayori! Just letting you know I made it to the club and hope to see you here soon!

Ten minutes went bye and the door to the club room opened making Monikas eyes light up in hope only to be flooded by disappointment when it turned out to be MC, Sayori no where in sight.

"Hallo MC, have you seen Sayori?" Asked Monika.

"Nope. We didn't have the same classes today. She's probably just running late." Said MC as he began to make his way towards Yuri before Natsuki gave him such a soul piercing glare he went away to read some comics by himself on a far away desk.

Half and hour goes bye and Monika began to worry.

'Sayori is never late...why hasn't she responding to my message..?' Thought monika as she looked around the room worriedly, meeting Yuri and Natsukis equally as worried gazes.

"Where the fuck is Sayori??" Said Natsuki.

"I don't know...I'll give her a call and find out." Said Monika, holding her phone to her ear after diling Sayoris number only to go to voicemail.

"N-No response..?" Asked Yuri, Monika shook her head.

"Let's wait a little longer, but if she isn't here soon we'll go look for her. Sound good?" Announced Monika, Natsuki and Yuri nodded.

"You guys shouldn't worry! Sayoris probably fine! She could've just gone home." Said MC as he turned a page of his comic book and rolled his eyes.

"No, it's not like her to be late and we had plans after the club. Sayori wouldn't cancel without telling me. " Said Monika as she glanced at MC.

"It's not as if you two are dating or anything, so don't overreact, it's really none of your business what Sayori does now is it?" Said MC with a scoff as he glared at Monika.

"It's not as if your dating her either MC, so why do you give a flying fuck what she does with me?" Said Monika in a stern voice as she glared back at MC.

"Yuri did you hear that..? Monika swore! What the actual fuck is going on??" Whispered Natsuki to Yuri as they watched the death glare competition between MC and Monika.

"Screw this. I'm going to go look for her, and if she's not in school, I'll search the whole fucking town." Said Monika as she got up from her desk to go look for Sayori, but just as she did, the door to the club room opened and Sayori slowly stepped into the room.

Monikas eyes lit up with joy until she got a good look at Sayori. She was absolutely drenched in water, leaving small puddle with every step she took, her shoes were missing and when Sayori finally looked up her eyes were red and puffy with tears flooding down her briused cheeks.

Without even a bat of an eye Monika rushed to Sayori and wrapped her in a tight hug, only for Sayori to try and push her away.

"N-No! Don't hug me! You'll get the water on you!" Shouted Sayori between weeps, only to have Monika hug her even tighter.

"It's ok Sayori...I'm here..." Said monika trying to hold back her tears, moving closer to Sayori by tightening the hug.

Sayori buried her head into Monikas shoulders trying to muffle out her cries as the tears kept on flowing.

Natsuki and Yuri joined into the hug around Sayori, comforting her in silence as she let out all her tears.
