Causing him to separate himself from his family by locking himself in his room or spend his time at a privet gym. When in his room he stoically and silently let out his tears of pain. When it the gym, he let out his anger by pumping 80 ton weights.

Ether way, Elijah delt with his heartbreak by himself. With the pain making him a stronger and better man than before. As he now knows what to look out for when it came to dating. But for a long while before meeting the other girls. Elijah stayed single and focused on his goals and job.
